    5:17 correct. “Once and for all.” His payment is total and permanent. It applies to all past, present, and future sins.

    When I was an elder that supported a statement of belief that claimed you could forfeit your salvation I thought teaching like this was wishful thinking. I don’t remember ever accusing believers of this type of belief as promoting sin or being heretics. Now on social media the minority who believe OSAS are beat up every day.
    I have went full circle once and now am back to grace by faith in Christ. Once saved we have eternal life period.
    But I had to leave the group think of both a legalistic pastorship and church. Slowly I found myself out of my former thinking and understanding grace more.
    I appreciate this man’s teaching.

    The question to ask somebody is "How many of your sins were in the future when Jesus died on the cross?" Unless you are 2,000 years old the answer is all of them.
