You are on a journey to total truth and you will be rewarded step by step as new light is revealed to you. God’s Holy Spirit is drawing you into full truth, present truth, for these last days. There is so much more out there for you to discover but only if you allow the Word of God alone to be your guide. You are sincere and honest and humble enough to know that some things must be given up when they are shown to be wrong. Bit by bit you are questioning each point and the truth is being revealed because the Word itself is its own interpreter. Tongues is a big topic to tackle. The seventh day Sabbath versus Sunday is another when the bible alone speaks. I challenge you on that one next. God bless your efforts. 🙏

So much confusion... Hmmm ... I wonder where THAT stems from !!! Titus , Chapter 3 , verse 5 . You think and trust in whatever you like . I am trusting i Jesus Christ alone ( John Ch.6 verse 37 ) .

With all the distractions that we have today. How can we receive the holy spirit? For Jesus Christ received it in the form of a dove that came down from. Heaven. And the apostles received tongues that came upon them. How can we get this experience if its not by praying and meditation?

sadly, the majority of churches, even though they believe in the new covenant are so sin conscious because they aren't identity focussed. So, we're being given old wine in new wine skins

I have a hard time studying and reading the bible, and also like dark music. I've convinced at times it is okay, and others I feel my world is crashing down for not being 'perfect'. It is just hard sometimes to do the things that we are 'supposed to do' sometimes when I feel I just simply talk to God in my own way. None the less still trying to get closer to him anyway I can.

While the Bible clearly teaches the necessity of faith and that we are justified by faith APART FROM our works, Baptism is how we are born again. There is no Bible verse explicitly connecting Belief to being born again, only to Salvation. It's also important that the Bible never describes Baptism is a work; because it is something God does to us with the water not we ourselves. Finally, this is the entire teaching of the historic Church, from the early church fathers to the Reformers, Catholics, Orthodox, everyone. We don't see a preacher claim otherwise until the Anabaptists.

Yes, God gives you discernment. As a true believer, you know what is true and what isn't.

Future sins are not forgiven. Lukewarm Christians have trouble believing in God's holiness and the severe consequences for sin. Scripture says: Hebrews 10:26 "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

So true, Jeremiah. The Church is not a building, it is a body of believers in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Jeremiah I would love to hear your thoughts on Eternal Rewards. I strongly believe in this teaching, however I feel as though there is a lot of confusion about it. It’s something that’s talked about multiple places in the New Testament. Paul talks about it in 1 Corinthians 5-15. Jesus discusses rewards in revelations 22:12. Some believe that it is based on how much sinful actions you commit/don’t commit as a believer. I do not agree with that, rather I believe it’s based on what you have done to help advance the kingdom of God on earth, whether that’s evangelizing, delivering the Gospel, helping others in need, and essentially being the light for the world as Jesus commanded. However, I do see that living outside your new identity in Christ and sinning it up can of course hinder you from effectively doing those the things that are apart of Gods Kingdom, thus resulting in a loss of rewards. I just would like to know your thoughts on this topic.
