    Thanks for sharing Jay and your honesty about how much it costs to run this car. It's a monster! My neighbour has one, and I always enjoy the sound it makes when he leaves the house.

    My 2020 SVR averages about 14-15 mpg going around town. Best highway mileage on a recent 1000 mile trip is 20mpg. No way getting better than that. Are you referring to KPG?

    • @JayLScho
      @JayLScho  3 месяца назад

      MPG mate, I've been getting around 17-18mpg consistently. On long drives +1 hour, I've had 26mpg at the best (70mph cruise control in eco).
      "Spirited drives" and it tends to hit 9-10mpg.
      I will say, since I had exhaust mod I've seen slightly better mpg - I'm not sure if this is placebo memory though. For reference, I'm also using 99 Octane fuel.
      Will do a 1+ year review next week, and will show everything 🙂

    I am shopping one of these hard. I am in a Panamera Turbo, and I love everything about it EXCEPT when I have to commute to the city every day for school. The roads are GARBAGE, and sometimes it's bordering off road like. I need something more capable, but still performance centric when I want that. May have to make a video on the switch if I get it!

      Love the Panamera's!
      SVR is the perfect all rounder in my opinion, you won't be disappointed.

    Enjoying these posts, Jay. I’m similarly looking to get my first SVR very soon (currently in a Mercedes C63s). My partner has a regular Discovery which rides very smooth on its air suspension and 21’s - we’ll trade this vehicle for the SVR. Just wondering what the SVR ride comfort would be like on 22’s in comparison to 23’’s? Keep posting! 👍👏

    • @JayLScho
      @JayLScho  Год назад +1

      Thank you! I'm on 22's currently, the ride is smooth but I imagine the 23's might make a little bit of difference to that. Not sure if the 23's will affect this too much, but the car likes to tramline a fair amount. Another thing, even in comfort mode the suspension is harder than the regular sport, somewhat noticeably.
      Overall though you won't be disappointed with the SVR, amazing car. I'm getting the exhaust modification this weekend, so will upload the before & after!

    Thanks to theft you can pick up a 4 year old one with the carbon package for like 58-70k, i might get one this year and ship it out, prices are really coming down

      @@JayLScho Yeah lol they will come down a lot more , i live in Cyprus so i have to pay 30% tax on import now Uk left eu, so the cheaper they get the better for me but law states it has to be under 5 years old. I think i will get it forst quarter 2025 i got a feeling theft will only continue to rise and insurance companies will stay away

      @JayLScho I'm asking is that what you said? I thought you said you put £1000 down then £1000 a month? No baloon ?

    • @JayLScho
      @JayLScho  8 месяцев назад

      @@DaleSteel Apologies mate, I misunderstood.
      £1,000 down and £1000 per month yeah. I got a fairly decent interest rate (7.9%), before everything went crazy. But, the balloon payment is circa 60k.
      I won’t be keeping this though, I’ll swap it out within the next 12 months, so I’ll never pay that balloon payment. (I get bored too fast 🤣)
      At current prices, I can currently sell this and pay the finance off.
      If you’re looking for one, they’re incredibly cheap at the moment due to all the thefts!

    • @DaleSteel
      @DaleSteel 8 месяцев назад

      @JayLScho oh so of you hand it back in 12 month you won't have to pay anything extra? I'm looking at 4.4 tdv8 as a tow car as I'm car tradee

    • @JayLScho
      @JayLScho  8 месяцев назад

      @@DaleSteel That completely depends on the cars depreciation rate, but technically with this SVR and the deal I got. I can do that today after 10 months of ownership.
      (Naturally I have spent money on a car to give back though, but I’m fine with this).
      For a 4.4tdvi, you’d have to check the value of the car you’re buying then look at the price of one say a year older with more miles to work out the rough depreciation.
      But typically regardless, you never have to a pay a balloon payment back at the end of the finance if you do not want the car. You can just hand it back and walk away.
