Interesting to see the interior of Lady Liberty and the spiral staircase. I really liked the scene with the seagulls hovering and Lady Liberty in the background.
I was once at the Statue of Liberty so we crossed paths, albeit with a 20 year difference. My fear of heights prevented me from going all the way up but I got to the viewing level of the pedestal.
8:13 🤣 Out of curiosity, how many screaming children throwing tantrums do you encounter in Japan? I've been watching this channel for a long time, and don't ever recall seeing/hearing many.
Went up in the crown in ‘98 was a lot busier then but those crazy stairs haven’t changed their scare level! Especially coming down, the rail was sweaty and slippery!
The Tenement Museum in lower Manhattan (?) is very interesting. Learned a lot about Immigration back in the day. It’s around $32 per person. A bit pricey, but what isn’t?
Yeah I went to the Crown in 2018. Struck me how small it was. I was following a German lady...your head is facing her backside. The stairs are that steep. Reminds me of stairs on my trip to HMS Belfast in London, metal cramped and super steep.
Just out of curiosity, do you guys try to get stuff like packages of real mozzarella cheese or bacon or whatever odd things you can't really find in Japan to take back? I would be stuffing my suitcase with certain goods, even if I needed to pack them in dry ice or something, I think? lol.
You're welcome to have your own opinions but as someone who said the same thing and now has two kids, I would have missed out greatly. Yes there are hard difficult moments of tantrums, but the good, heart warming moments far out distance any of the bad ones. Keep your judgements to yourself if you don't have kids, too, you can't understand what it's like raising kids and not as simple as trying to keep a toddler from screeching in public. Sorry but just a very childish take on your part to say you wouldn't have kids because one kid screeched in public.
@@LA-so4qz Almost as childish as writing an essay about why a random stranger on the internet is wrong about their reasons for not wanting to have kids.
Have you been to The Statue of Liberty?

The cuteness of this couple is beyond the universe!
I wish more museums and historical places had an immersive experience.
Great video. I definitely have to see it up close, and gotta get in the crown too.

Now we know the story of "up her skirt". :-)
