Thanks for the effort, but why the intrusive music instead of more educational narration? We can hear music anywhere, but what you have to tell us would be of much more use. Best of luck!

We have more beavers than we can ever imagine. After three years the kits are ready to move on. European Beavers build dams, like their Canadian counterparts. When they expand their range as the population grows, there will be more areas needed for their expansion. Have fun if there are escapees.

Amazing stuff, congratulations! Is the plan to secure licensing and introduce more beavers down the line to diversify the gene pool? Seems like a bit of a dodgy Adam and Eve type scenario at the minute!

If beavers spread to certain areas, they may damage wetland crops.

I'm little shocked that they would release two beavers who have never met before and expect them to get along... that's not always the case. It is always better to release pairs that have already mated. In some places they take beavers who are creating problems and catch them and introduce them in captivity, if they form a pair then they place them where they will be beneficial. Mated beavers will stay in an ideal situation, unmated beavers will wonder (usually driven out by other dominant beavers). I do hope they get lucky and they mate.

Be careful what you wish for: In Massachusetts in the USA, there were 20,000-25,000 beavers in 1996. In that year, the state voted to ban beaver traps. There are now 70,000 beavers in the state. Across the state, people's houses are being flooded. Culverts are constantly blocked by beavers, causing roads to flood.

If yoou listened to what the fellow wad saying, they want expansion and are expecting the beavers to create a wetter environmen - he said, " We expect it to get much wetter as they build dams and such."
