  • Real does a great job holding on and he is an outstanding wrestler and great young man, but Casey is a freaking animal and among my top 5 favorite wrestlers to watch.

    Woods is a Beast very quick and athletic . Also determined doesn’t like to lose . Casey was caught Stalling

    ive been following casey swiderski since the start of his senior year, and I see extreme potential. He might win finals this year.

      Both these guys will be all americans this year. ISU got a stud and Iowa has a proven AA. I will be excited to see where they both place at nationals this year! -Hawk fan

      Kid's a monster. My son wrestles for Dundee as well (same school as Casey)if was nuts watching him in high school.

    I love watching Real Woods but he's a vet. He's been around so long and not much has changed with that guy tbh. I didn't see or hear about Swiderski until that WNO win, but ever since then he never fails to put on a good match. As much as I love Real, I think he should be way ahead by now.

    Horrible stall call in the 2nd period there. Woods was literally trying to do nothing but they hit Swiderski with a stall call when he can't really get up there.

      Wrong. He was working a cross wrist aiming for a tilt. Swiderski was just lying on his belly and trying to tie up Woods’ hand to limit action. He wasn’t trying to improve his position he was just trying to bind up Woods’ hand to stop the tilt.
      Not wrestling to improve = stalling

      @@mrslaneful watch any Real Woods match from this season. He works head lever to cross wrist to tilt, but before you tilt you need to secure the wrist and the 2on1.
      I say it was a good call. But you’re entitled to your opinion

    Lots of weirds bias in the comments for Casey. I get the kids tough and we want to see him develop but he got dominated the whole match. No offense in the first period, woods controlling center attacking. Then was flat as a pancake on bottom and got exposed, whole time looking to his corner tossing his hands up like a diva. To top it off he throws a head snap 2 seconds after the whistle and starts shoving like a sore loser punk. There’s tough then there’s lame. Took the L like a baby

      @@michaelgraber5750 takedown off of his opponents offense. You’re just arguing to argue and your statement holds no weight. A takedown isn’t synonymous with being aggressive, wrestling is fluent and nuanced and a go behind to score with 0 quality leg attacks is my point.

      @@ShibuyaEasy you seem very upset. I was just pointing out Casey had the only takedown of the match, and I’m not wrong. Woods obviously wrestled better I’m not denying that. Casey still a true freshman. He will be fine. I’d definitely like to see a rematch as Casey develops.

    Woods gonna have a rough time beating anybody with no offense. Funny how the bottom guy gets hit for stalling when the top guy is on the hips with a deep waste and head lever the entire round and didn't come out one time. It's wins like that that have got college programs dropped. Nobody wants to pay their 8 bucks to watch a bor-a-thon.

      Did you watch the match? Swiderski got desperate and frustrated at the end of the match and aggressively went after Woods after the bell and out of bounds. I understand his frustration. He was in the heat of the moment and lost himself for a moment. But then they went after each other after that. Both lacked sportsmanship at the end. Why only call out Woods?

      Kid grew up in Alburqurque. You all don't have a clue what would happen if it got real. These matches are the closest thing that most top recruits will get to hardships that some lesser fortunate kids are able to get out of and escape from. Real keeping it 100% Real

      @@jeredjohnston3400 Turns out when you rode the guy for period 2, you get the chance to let him take the shot in the last seconds. Real ran Casey this time and Casey was going after him after the horn blew. I respect real and casey but casey started it after the horn blew lol

      @@Ronald-qs1pn From March til now means nothing, that's a child's excuse. He's perfectly. There's a massive difference between guys who have been wrestling for years and those who are coming in fresh out of highschool. There's a reason guys like Bo nickal, Retherford, David Taylor, Jordan Burroughs all had worse seasons their freshmen year then went on to dominate. There's a giant transition period from high school to college. Let's throw some money down that the next time these two meet Swiderski wins.
