I can't help but remember something from Burnie Burns on a podcast almost a decade ago. "People ask me all the time: 'How do I come be a part Rooster Teeth?' The first thing I usually tell them is: 'You don't want to work for Rooster Teeth. _You want to make your OWN Rooster Teeth.'_ It's that simple." There may never be another RT. But we can make something of our own. Today is a sad day, but nothing stops it from being a better one. See ya soon, Boom.
And to build on Burnie’s point, you should be very proud of yourself. There’s a feeling of seeing an old friend when I think of RoosterTeeth. And you know what, when I look at what you’ve made, I see that same spark of an old friend. So thank you for your commitment, your discipline, and your passion B00mrang.
If you ever plan to watch more BvR, then I say go for it. Personally, dont watch up to Season 18 / Zero. It's shit; again, personal opinion. I guess there was news of a S19 coming out named Restoration season and if true then Im hoping they dont do the same animation as S18.
"There's a point where it tips." "There's a point where it breaks." "There's a point where we can't take....anymore." "There's a point where we're not turning back, No bridges left to burn...FOREVERMORE!!" Despite all thier faults, screw ups, and controversies, I am truly grateful to Rooster teeth for creating such entertaining shows with worlds i loved being immersed in ever since senior year of high school. Even if RVB was never a major selling point for my interests it was always something i tried to keep an eye on and see what insanity they'd cook up in the latest season. And RWBY, man what a ride.
You my friend, you're the closest so far that I've seen to another Rooster Teeth. Crash perfectly captures the essence of classic RvB. One titan falls, another emerges. Rooster Teeth may be gone, but their influence and memory lives on forever.
While I will not miss what it has allowed itself to become, I will always miss the idea of RT way back when it was just a group of friends making dumb stuff in a trailer
"Maybe you're all here because this is the only place you fit in. Maybe you're here because you don't have anywhere else to go. Maybe you're all here, because deep down, you want to be here. The reason doesn't matter. What matters is that you're here!" - Sarge
Red vs Blue has for impacted both my sense of humor, and my perception of storytelling as a whole. I have never gotten too into communities out of fear of disppointment I suppose. Love your show bro, keep it real.
I was pretty late on the RvB train, only binging the series in 2020 (iirc) after hearing so much about it, but even I was moved by this video. R.I.P. RoosterTeeth
Ever since I’ve been into Halo, I followed RvB and Rooster Teeth as well and it legitimately sad to see what has happened to not only RT, but a lot of other creators and franchises that we grew up with.
It’s a terrible day for rain… Rooster Teeth has been a big part of my life, me and my parents loved watching their shows from RVB to Social Disorder. I truly hope they’re all doing well, and let’s all remember an amazing piece of history.
Once the soul of a "creation group" is gone. Its hard to get it back, and anything past that loss means the creations they make will go down hill. As one quote explains it "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain". or in these terms, You either be free to make masterpieces or create dumpster-fire only wanting to be fueled by money like the rest. May RVB and Rooster Teeth rest in peace with the masterpeices they made.
I moved on from RT's content after Monty died. I never watched RWBY, or that summer camp show, I only watched RvB. But those 10, 12 or so seasons have stuck with me. And now, despite not having stuck with Rooster Teeth in all these years, and seeing how much the company changed in that time, practically becoming something I could never understand or like. Despite that part, seeing them shut their doors is still a gut punch. Like seeing a friend from high school in the obituaries.
For me Rooster Teeth was part of a transition period for me when I was moving away from Hollywood made media and eventually discovering media like anime. Red vs Blue was a show that while just a silly show at first to me became a meaningful story found in a most unexpected place. RWBY was a show I had huge expectations for and enjoyed for a time but grew more and more disappointed with it as time went on. RWBY however was the catalyst for me discovering anime so I'll never forget RWBY for that I still remember watching an episode of RvB every day during my lunch breaks when I worked at McDonald's years ago. Funny how that's my fondest memories working there
It is sad to hear that Rooster Teeth is pretty much done, but I cant share too much sympathy for them on account of all the things they’ve done the past few years. RVB will hold a special place in my heart and I’m glad it’s inspired people like you, Crash. Your series is a great homage to the early days. Burnie’s writing has also been an inspiration to myself so I’m thankful to him as well. Oh, but do check seasons 11 - 14 if you ever get a chance. They’re actually pretty good. Burnie even wrote Epsilon’s final words in the last episode of season 13. Great ending for him.
This is the worst news I've gotten in a long time. I'm at work and it's gonna look really awkward when I start crying here. Roosterteeth was my entire childhood. From 13 and up I was there for as much as I could be. And to see it end like this, at the same time as their final season, cuts me to the core.
RvB was my childhood and really shaped my sense of humor as a kid so I know how you feel friend and we can carry the torch of RoosterTeeth by remembering all the great times and things we loved about them because remember Memory is the key
As someone who grew apart from the RT/AH stuff, I agree bro. For the time I had cringing at the Shizno paradox, to RWBY, to the many controversies, it cannot trump the memories and good hearted laughs I got out of them as a whole. Those guys were special. Shit's sad, but that's just how it goes and I hope things get better for everyone here and there.

RT was definitely a good memory. I just hope everyone that made those memories feels that great love the fans have come to give over the years and continue to look back fondly on the memories like I will.
Goodbye to one of the best shows ever of all time. I can't say ive ever had the luxury of being a big fan of RT in its prime(wasn't born lol), or watching a lot of their content As i really only watched rvb and rt shorts (as well as achievement hunter a couple movies and Vs, + whatever rtx stuff i could find) But i want to thank not only the company but the community for some of my fondest memories And for helping me be able ro get back up and rebuild myself. RWBY got me through some of the worst points in my life, so even though I'm not happy about what has happened overall, but overall I am glad for what they have done over the years.
Rooster Teeth and Machinima were a huge part of my childhood. The only remnant left is Jon CJG aka Digital Ph33r. I think it really goes to show how an individual's passion can outlive a company of thousands. To be fair, RT already had a foot in the grave--the signs were there--but in a way I'm somewhat glad that they'll end with some of the legacy intact.
Its nice to look past the problems or the sadness of a important thing ending and just focus on the good times. Thanks roosterteeth for some great shows
I remember getting into red vs blue (and by extension, rooster teeth) during my high school years, going through all the seasons starting with the very first. I'll never forget the laughter it brought along with the genuine tears that were shed, I'm hoping even after the shutdown of Rooster Teeth, RvB will still have its final season so that it can go out on a high note
RT in recent years lost my sympathy for things they had done. But my love for what they have created never left and never will. I remember i learned about RvB back when i was a boy scout. A friend told me about them and showed me a few videos. I have been hooked ever since. So when i discovered Crash. I was super excited and still am. It has the same things that made RvB great and i know it will be great as well. I feel as though you have answered the question presented in RvB episode 1 for yourself. "You ever wonder why we're here"
My first introduction to rvb was when I was 10 and my friend showed me the robotic Tex’s fight. Specifically the part where griff was about to get punched in the nuts. It was love at first sight. Amazing things have happened because I knew of roosterteeth
As someone who also spent a good portion of their adolescent years consuming Red vs Blue, it was utterly heartbreaking to see the news. But I take solace in the fact that in the wake of Rooster Teeths passing, they left behind a legacy that's inspired talented individuals such as yourself, to carry on the work in their place and never let the memory of what they did be snuffed out. Whether you intended to or not B00mrang, you're going to carry that spark with you.
I found RvB and never looked back. It saddened me to learn about their fall. The original plan for my films was that they would be a Halo fan film. I was very inspired by RvB and Rooster Teeth.
Hey boom I just want you to know that while we lost a good part of our childhood we gained a new good part of our adult lives. I know what it’s like to feel your alone and use RT as sense of community. My mom was a drinker and a lot of that took primacy in my childhood all the way to the end of high school. I would listen to the pod cast and would rewatch RvB all the time. She died little under a year ago. I still loved her as any son should. I went into a little bit of a depression and that’s when I found your show. I just wanted you to know you can’t be rooster teeth, but you can still do just as great or better as you.
When my father died 5 years ago I was really sad and didn't do much but watch rooster teeth and let's play just in my room I would watch the sky factory 3 series and I had a laptop and I would play sky factory while watching them it really meant alot to me
I appreciate the gesture that this video represents and I think I would've loved RvB if I ever got to watch it in my heyday. I just wish "Content" wasn't the word used to describe it, because that's putting it on the same level as those rich kids who do crazy stunts or pranks. It's Comedy and Art that Rooster Teeth blessed us with before corporate control shackled them. Never forget that what we create isn't simply "Content", but Art of myriad types.
RvB is why I noticed Rooster Teeth, then later down the line I watched some parts of RWBY, then I came to Crash. Rooster Teeth certainly solidified themselves as a pillar of inspiration for most people. For the Record I only came across Crash because i had an itch for something like RvB, Im glad to see the results of the few episodes you made, it really did scratch that Itch.
Rooster teeth end is an expected but still very sad. I haven't kept up with them in years but I remember being excited everytime the fails of the week would come out and living RVB all the way to the chorus arc.
I heard the new from Critikal on my way home from work. I remember first getting into RvB when i was like 13 or something sick as a dog and only having youtube to pass the time. My fondest and earliest memories of Rooster teeth was binging all their videos. Even though I fell out of interest in watching them hearing the news was watching a part of my childhood die.
This hurts. They helped me through some of my darkest times, and I found good friends through it. Let us remember all the good times, and as always ask the most important question; "do you ever wonder why we're here?" If anyone of them joins twitch will be an automatic follow as far as I'm concerned
My journey to Rooster teeth was a pretty odd one. There’s this guy on yt named Cacox97, who as a kid I watched because he did a lot of nerf gun related content, and eventually him and his friends made a halo machinama called “spartan super soldier”. I’m a PlayStation player, but even if i have never played halo, this series struck a cord with me. I started to love this kind of content, eventually I found RvB, for some this show is odd and very fringe, but I get emotional just thinking about it. Because RvB does something that very few shows are good at on a deep level. Being relatable. All my favorite characters have a trait that actually doesn’t feel far from home, from church consistently being peeved and had it with life and ppl, to tuckers immature pettiness, and cabooses wholesome dumb goofiness. Just thinking about it makes me want to cry. Ima miss them.
Wow… hard to say goodbye when I heard the news and drama of Roosterteeth. 😢 B00merang. Red vs blue is always our childhood, and it always been in our hearts. 😢
Hearing that news made my heart sink. I know it's been a rough few years for RT, but I never in a million years wanted them to be shut down. Red vs Blue is what got me online, got me talking to people and is by extension, how I met everyone I know online. I likely wouldn't be here (online, anyway) without my love for RvB. I love that show to death, and I eagerly await the final season. Though... it's a bittersweet one. Thank you for everything, Rooster Teeth.
They shaped my humor and they were a lot of fun to watch especially RvB, I watched RWBY for a while too and they will be missed. You put it perfectly though
Even though the writing on the wall for rooster teeth for a while now it was still shocking to see the news today. I remember back in middle school when I first found RvB I think it was some time during the chorus trilogy (still think season 13 was the perfect ending for the show). At least we are still getting the final season of RvB. Rooster teeth started with red vs blue and it’s ending with red vs blue kinda fitting.
Classic Rooster Teeth was so imporant to me. I remember finding them through RVB on the old Halo Waypoint app for the 360. They would cycle a few of the episodes every so often and once I found them on RUclips I was hooked. I literally just ordered the complete box set of seasons 1-10 and the Chorus trilogy steelbook from Ebay today. It's unfortunate to see them come to an end in such a way. Even though they have been declining for the past 5-8 years or so. I'll never forget the laughs and good times they brought me and my friends. After highschool my first trip out of state was me and my two childhood friends flying to Austin to attend RTX for our first convention. It was good times.
I still remember watching RVB back in elementary school when I was supposed to be doing homework. Now, I'm almost done with my 2nd year in uni. Goodbye RT. I'll always be grateful for what you've given us over the years.
if I had never watched rooster teeth, I never would've found this channel. red vs blue got me through the latter part of highschool and the start of college. I'll miss those amazing bastards. godspeed.
Rooster teeth is finally gone? Thank Christ. That may sound terrible but it was a dead corpse being paraded around for almost 10 years. It should have been properly laid to rest years ago.
Yeah, it hit me today, too. Not as bad as some of my other friends, who informed me about Rooster Teeth shutting down, but it'll hit me later. Hey, lets not say goodbyes, because I hate goodbyes. Lets remember what we loved about RT, and where it has brought us now. In fact, I'll binge RvB on DVD, just to take a trip back down memory lane. See you later, Rooster Teeth. Thank you.
I knew it was going to happen it was so obvious but it still sucks so much I remember watching the old rvb episodes under the covers when I was a kid. Not to mention let's play and every other hilarious skit they put out. I'm glad they were fun for you as well
Once upon a time, when you had to let the window sit open for hours just to watch a 5 minute video, and you were probably better off just doing the download.
I became a fan late when season 5 episode 87 - The Nesting Theory. I also called Rooster Teeth when I ordered the first 5 seasons box set and the extra content DVD. I didn't receive the extra content DVD instead a season 5 DVD, talked to Joel, he said he send that missing DVD right away and to keep the season 5 disk. Wish I knew how to record phone calls back then. While Season 15 to 17 I didn't like that much I still watch all but 18 from time to time. I really hope they can finish and release RvB Restoration.
Red vs Blue has brought so many memories in our childhood, but to see the end of it leaves something empty in us. Whatever the case might be, either good or bad, at least we get to see them for one last time.
I may not have watched long but I still rvb even though it was already old it was new to me and I enjoyed hated some of it made me feel better after some things happened in my life that more or less about destroyed me mentally not being able to talk to people because I'm still kicked out of school doing online not evening doing work anymore because I'm so drained from watching the same videos and answering the same questions I rely on talking but feel myself getting worst in I decided to go back and watch rvb well only the first season because I'm not a member it brought me back to when I was more better and made me a little bit happier it still made me laugh and it hurts to see them go I see why but It doesn't make feel any better about it
i just want to say the old rvb had a feeling of a couple of guys goofing of and having fun in halo, while the newer seasons felt more like an anime when it comes to the story, fight scenes and animation
It really is wild seeing Roosterteeth fall. RvB has literally shaped the internet and video gaming as a whole. It popularized Machinima content and probably helped Halo become as popular as it is. We'll all miss the old days, when things were simpler. Note: You should take the time to watch at least Season 11-13 of RvB. They're some of the best imo. After that is where things get a bit iffy.
As much as it pains me to see them go, I can't say I'm surprised by it at all. Here's to hoping RVB and all the other shows they had don't just disappear because of this.
I really hope they get the conclusion to RvB out written by Burnie before they shut completely. It needs to finish how it started, with two bases in a box canyon.
I definitely have complaints about how rooster teeth has gone downhill like they did.....but i will never deny the fantastic work that burnie and his crew have made, the legacy they have left for us, and how their work had and continues to inspire others. I didnt grow up with rooster teeth, i didn't even know about them until season 10 of rvb happened. But looking back at all the seasons, they really made such an iconic and entertaining series. Heres to hoping the grand finale of red vs blue happens and they send it off on a high note. One last thing..... ........shotgun.
Damn, I didn't even know that Rooster Teeth was shutting down until I watched your video. I haven't watched much of their content these past several years. That being said, Red vs Blue helped get me through my last year of high school and through college. The RVB machinima seasons from Blood Gulch to Chorus were something special. Despite the company shutting down, I'm happy to see channels like yours continue this style of Halo Machinima.
Rvb was my favorite show from rooster teeth, and i saw a bit of rwby. Hearing about their end made me sad, tbh I wish i could finish rwby and re-watch rvb again
Really surreal news cause last week I finished rewatching seasons 1 through 10 last week. And then this news dropped a few hours ago. Thank ya for the vid, and honestly cause of early RvB I got a lil motivated to do art and creative stuff several years ago. I will always appreciate the show for that.
Couldn't agree more with this message. It was incredibly formative for myself too and comforted me in a time where I didn't have much comfort elsewhere. I wish them all the best for the future and I cannot wait to see what the original members I grew up with get up to in the future. Great video.
Rest in piece, I was a little late to the party, but I enjoyed RvB to fullest. Thanks for all of the good times Roosterteeth, goodbye! Edit: it's ok B00mrang, the first 10 seasons were the best, you don't have to worry about watching the rest
Idk how to explain it...but after hearing something that resonates with me...this news has left me devastated. idk what to do with how I feel right now.

That's alright. It is still an amazing video with a great meaning.

It’s Rooster Teeth’s fault, someone put a game in their way.
They finally tasted oblivion.
It tastes like Red Bull, which tastes *disgusting*.

2024 the year legend left the internet. Feels like a new age is coming. I wonder what it will bring.
"A stirring eulogy!" - Tucker S1
In honor of RvB I'll be rewatching the Freelancer arc for the 5th time, it really is the best part of the show
That was the best eulogy ever... Of all time.
I hope they all know how important they were to us... Things go south sometimes. But they helped raise the internet and a generation on it.
still remember when RVB was on Netflix, Rooster Teeth was a real og.
Let us remember all the good times, and as always ask the most important question; "do you ever wonder why we're here?"
If anyone of them joins twitch will be an automatic follow as far as I'm concerned
I watched RvB as a teen. I'm glad that I can watch you guys now.
Wow… hard to say goodbye when I heard the news and drama of Roosterteeth. 😢
B00merang.
I remember watching red vs blue and lost the chanel but found it through a RUclips short.
They shaped my humor and they were a lot of fun to watch especially RvB, I watched RWBY for a while too and they will be missed. You put it perfectly though
Tbh you are making a new generation of rvb. It's nostalgic tbh

I'll miss those amazing bastards. godspeed.
man i lost my dad when i was 10 too and i always watched red vs blue falling asleep lol
Despite all the scandals and allegations, it is still hard to say goodbye to something that had a big part in our lives
Thank you.
Definitely watch the Chorus Saga. It’s worth it. Can’t believe this company is going away.
I knew it was going to happen it was so obvious but it still sucks so much I remember watching the old rvb episodes under the covers when I was a kid. Not to mention let's play and every other hilarious skit they put out. I'm glad they were fun for you as well
I remember them starting red vs blue before RUclips existed
Truly Rooster Teeth's legacy will inspire, but their work was truly magic.

Red vs Blue has brought so many memories in our childhood, but to see the end of it leaves something empty in us.
Whatever the case might be, either good or bad, at least we get to see them for one last time.
we will miss you RT, you gave us some great memories.
its now up to you now to keep the memory alive now no pressure
I may not have watched long but I still rvb even though it was already old it was new to me and I enjoyed hated some of it made me feel better after some things happened in my life that more or less about destroyed me mentally not being able to talk to people because I'm still kicked out of school doing online not evening doing work anymore because I'm so drained from watching the same videos and answering the same questions I rely on talking but feel myself getting worst in I decided to go back and watch rvb well only the first season because I'm not a member it brought me back to when I was more better and made me a little bit happier it still made me laugh and it hurts to see them go I see why but It doesn't make feel any better about it
i just want to say the old rvb had a feeling of a couple of guys goofing of and having fun in halo, while the newer seasons felt more like an anime when it comes to the story, fight scenes and animation
god RT is what helped me get into writing and story telling in general im sad to see it go
It really is wild seeing Roosterteeth fall.
Here's to hoping RVB and all the other shows they had don't just disappear because of this.
petition for roosterteeth to see this
I really hope they get the conclusion to RvB out written by Burnie before they shut completely.
Shotgun! Fuck!
Oh BOOm, watch the rest of RVB. Definitely worth it, even if some dislike bits and pieces
Beautiful someone needs to drop them a link for this, they need this
Damn, I didn't even know that Rooster Teeth was shutting down until I watched your video.
Oh this hurts. Thanks for sharing this
Thank roosterteeth for the past and also giving you permission for crash
Yeah, although Crash is not a rvb fan show anymore. It's inspired heavily by rvb in areas, but it's by far grown into its own thing.
it is sad but you know it was by their own hand
