I feel like Dropout/College Humor is a bit too millennial coded for BFT. Not that they don’t both make great content, more so that Dropout is about creating content for people who remember 9/11 whereas BFT is for people who became conscious just around the end of the 2008 housing crisis. Like Dropout fans were in high school/college when the world ended in 2012, but BFT heads were just little kids. And our cousins were a few years older than us and they probably knew the world wasn’t actually going to end but they still scared us into thinking that it actually was. And sometimes they’d tell our parents “hey aunty, I think Trenton shit himself because he thinks the world is going to end because of the Mayan calendar.” And we’d say “no! I didn’t! I didn’t do that!” Because I didn’t shit myself and I wasn’t actually scared. That whole thing was bs and I knew it was bs. And yeah maybe the thought crossed my mind, but can you blame me? I was an ADHD riddled child with a hyperactive imagination. If you plant the seeds in my head, of course they’re gonna blossom. I’ve been watching since the beginning when you only had a few hundred views on vids. It’s been amazing seeing BFT grow. This channel has been one of my absolute favorite things to come out of RT recently. I get genuine belly laughs watching. I hope you can all stay together.

I found this channel right when it started bc I’ve been a fan of Will for many years. Watching these videos introduced me to Sammie and Caroline, who’s content i’ve began to enjoy. I comment on damn near every video and I hope one of yall see this but goddamn this is such a gut punch; I haven’t fallen in love with a channel this hard since the early days of FH and to find out that both y’all got cancelled on the same day actually fucking sucks.

I'm not gonna lie, I've got total faith in you guys surviving and finding new footing. Rooster Teeth was a dying company. Smosh was able to survive Anthony leaving, Defy going under, and then built themselves back up under Mythical to the point that they own themselves for the first time in over a decade.
