Geoff sober AND clean is a good look
Yeah I'm so happy with his outlook on life now. And even though he's going through his divorce he seems like he's trying to make the best of it and I applaud him so much for that... Geoff is an amazing guy and I'm glad he's trying to better himself
him and Griffon are done?!! :(
@@FALCONLICK for quite a while now, I want to say a year or so
very happy he is so strong in the new outlook so happy he didn't turn back to drinking while going through it
What an appropriately named episode. I'm three minutes in and Burnie's talking about sending a fax lol
which podcast did Burnie talk about the passenger dying???
It made me happy to hear Geoff mention Monty and reminisce on how he played Pump It Up at 1:14:32. Reminds me of how great and memorable Monty was. Rest In Peace Monty
Glad to see Geoff on the podcast
Geoff?! It's a christmas miracle!
Gotta take it while we can lol
Geoff on the podcast, Burnie on Achievement Hunter... best november ever

GEOFF IS AWESOME
*GEOFF*
I had things to do today but I saw the thumbnail with Geoff and clicked immediately. The errands can wait.
HAHAHAHA. SAME! I keep looking at the clock, "I got another ____ minutes."
i was in school and saw the title and nearly screamed
Geoff looks so good here he just looks very energetic awake and happy it’s good to see him like this
Geoff looks so young with out his beard
Looks younger
Edit: I can't read I thought you put 'Better' not 'young'
Right? I'm a bread lover but he's very attractive like this.
it’s also the healthier diet and sobriety. compare this podcast to the couple times he was in the sidecar over the past 2 years, it’s a beautiful transition. the guys really getting younger every day he gets older
Geoff is like Benjamin Button; the less alcohol he drinks, the younger he becomes
@@Gerafixin it's very admirable
As someone who generally doesn't like discussing politics himself, I don't mind when RT Podcast & Off Topic get political. I'm genuinely interested in hearing what the guys have to say about the crazy mixed up things going on in our world and they usually are able to talk about it with some sort of funny twist. But I understand why most aren't a fan.
They say the same things as every other liberal. There is literally nothing unique to it.
I think the conservatives would get mad and starting to throw tantrum because it doesn't align with their political agenda.
It's predictable. I mean we all know majority of people in RT are Liberals or at least moderately liberal.
I lean more conservative. The only time I get mad is when people judge you just because of your political beliefs. It's totally fine to disagree with people, that's why the system is in place. Now a days, people just believe whatever news station they watch and follow that to a T, and hate the other side without civil conversation. RT is fine because they can have a conversation without hurting feelings, or being judgmental. Even if they don't voice their true nature, it's fine as long as you respect that everyone has opinions. Also, Just because I'm conservative doesn't mean I like the president.
I dont care about what political stance they have, but hearing other humans talk about this batshit crazy world we live in is awesome
I feel like Geoff does a great job of conveying opinions without alienating either side of an issue which is refreshing and something interesting to listen to in a partisan world.
Omg the chemistry is still there these guys are so much fun! I love the drunk podcast crew!
*Drunk Tank Podcast
*sober geoff and drunk tank podcast
After hearing Geoff's ghost story I understand him now everytime he plays a horror game.
Plus they should totally make an Achievement Huanter episode at that house.
I agree, I don't really believe in ghosts, maybe like 10%, but hearing them use a Ouija board and attempting to summon the devil, my reaction is and always will be, over my dead body, I really want First but I don't have money for it, I could ask my parents but this is something I would rather buy on my own.
Also the middle or just before the ghost stuff got really sad and depressing.
Timestamp of story?
@@that_1_crazy 1:18:16
Yeah that story actually gave me some chills up my spine.
RTAA (Nutin Like Huffin): Starts at 4:00
RTAA (Meanest Angriest Animal) : Starts at 13:43
Jesus Christ they brought Geoff back. We never thought this day would come
These are so much my favorite podcasts! I love seeing Geoff and hearing his stories. I'm also a huge fan of friendship and seeing these three have a conversation is like a study in long term friendship. 10/10 would watch again. Also Geoff's ghost story gave me goosebumps and actually creeped me out a little.
I just wanted to listen to an old podcast with the original guys and they are talking about a potential full-scale invasion of Ukraine 3 years prior to it happening, crazy.
1:18:14 Geoff’s ghost story
Tbh, if Geoff wrote a book I'd buy it. Especially if it was titled "Hufflepuff"
Needs the word "begrudging"
Wish they do like a lil reunion special podcast
😭😭
I would read an autobiography from Geoff without question. He's such an interesting guy with an amazing gift for storytelling.
1:03:05
Oh wow how relevant to present day now
Came to say this exact thing when I heard. Wild stuff
I love how fondly Geoff spoke of Monty and his love for ddr... it's a nice remember that when you think of someone who's passed it doesn't always have to be so morbid :")
He said her name!! I’ve been a fan of RT for almost 10 years and Geoff has always had his “ex-wife” (and I’m familiar with the Griffin story about why he doesn’t use her name). What a strange thing to get me excited
Why doesn't use her name
Jazz Chords so no one goes to find and harass her
he said her name during an... “inopportune time” early in his relationship with griffin and as a result avoided saying it since to not upset griffin
Well now he has 2 ex wives so he has to say which one
Darby Tyler lmao that is true
1:03:25 you’re wrong Gus
Remember that time Geoff screwed an e-mail up and it cost the company $3k ?
Jorge Resendiz go on
I don’t watch these regularly. But I saw Geoff Burny and Gus on one pod cast and said I’d give it a try. I’m 100% serious in saying I’m interested in hearing more conversations between these 3. It’s captivating
Geoff looks so much younger now.
I really look up to Goeff, being sober, and progressing his life in a positive way. I really truly see him as a role model now. As someone who has struggled with addiction for years, I really find that Goeff is someone to look to for what to do. Plus he likes my tweets and will reply sometimes, super caring dude.
No one's gonna mention it's the 10 year anniversary for the podcast? Okay.
Geoff looks much more alive and happy than he did a few years ago, it's heart warming to see him like this :D
Woah, Geoff is lookin' good
Whoa* lol
Or was that a call back?
28:40 "Orange is the new chaotic evil", that is pretty good. XD
I can confirm. Orange cats are the best.
Geoff looks sharp AF! Happy to see you healthy and hopefully happy
God how I miss these days
Randomly watching old podcasts in no particular order. That serial killer dude just died the other day
Burnie: “I’ll tell this story again in two years.”
Um
The fact that of Geoff's ghost story, he saw a woman wearing a hijab- in the 80s in the south as a kid who probably had no concept of what that was- is what kind of sells me on his story.
seriously tho why hasnt anyone written a book? & not only for the sake of story telling but for its historical relevance. I guess you have your docs and theyre awesome but Id love to read a book about the founding of RT & I know I cant be the only one.
+Ayoul someones bound 2 write something someday, with all the behind the scenes stuff, maybe decades from now, when the entire landscape of the internet has been paved,on some deep nostalgia trip. its only a matter of time, I hope.
People have written books before what do you mean???
Well Geoff’s book is coming out soon! So check back soon!
Geoff looks good. Younger too
Came back to this because these three are what I started on for rooster teeth....... That Ukraine vs Russia conversation gave me chills. 09/02/2022 #westandwithukraine
why? anybody who took 5 minutes to read any global news since 2012 would know it was coming lol. Jeez, its sad nobody reads anymore.
@@spearofconquest Also, I like how you generalized "read" like people don't read articles online that aren't political. It's not like you read a book after 2012 and knew Russia was going to invade.
@@BenzGarner LOL, they invaded in 2014, stories about Putin wanting to do it were highlights in 2012 and 2013 journalism. Russia controlled territory in Ukraine in 2014 after invading their borders. It became a full scale invasion this year. Everyone knew it was going to happen. Put down the controller.
@@spearofconquest hahaha again I'm going to try to help you understand because you're obviously hyper focused on the original comment and can't read between the lines or extrapolate.... I AGREE WITH YOU, YOU MORON. They have been in a proxy war for almost if not over a decade, it still doesn't make my original comment anymore right or wrong. I'll put down the controller when you grow up and quit pretending you're some know it all international conflict risk manager lol 🤣
@@BenzGarner You said you got chills like some little girl. I asked why.
Dude we need this line up more often
This was one of the most enjoyable podcasts from RT in months. I literally couldn't stop smiling. The dynamic that they all have with each other is just too perfect and that really shows when it's only three members and founders.
Geoff looks 15 years younger than he did a year ago
It's amazing what happens when you stop intentionally poisoning yourself with alcohol.
What is this, the Drunk Tank?
With all the faxing talk its like first episode drunk tank
Except geoff is sober now, yay
The total age for the 3 hosts on this podcast is 128.
Avg. Age of 42.6
One of the best episodes across all the podcasts on rooster teeth. I love the chemistry between all 3, and Geoff is the best
is this the first time geoff has said his first wife's name?
I think he said it on Off-topic not too long ago but I don't know which episode
@@TihusTalks yeah I'm pretty sure he's said her name on off topic too, it was sometime this year probably but dunno which episode
I’m pretty sure he’s said it before in the drunk tank days
I dunno but he's definitely said it VERY rarely.
@@jacksonboisvert7629 definitely did not 😂
Jesus... we’re learning so much about Geoff today.
Geoff on RT podcast is always amazing.
I come back to this episode every now and then to reminisce in the good old days of RT
Omg yes Geoff 😍
That Alabama incident sounds like the worst possible choice you can make in a video game where you quit and reload so you can do it differently.
They need an ANMA episode with Burnie
Geoff lookin like a snack daddy af
Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it
I really like geoff on the podcast, I'd love to see more podcast with these 3
i had heard suffargette's were the ones that took direct action, throwing bricks, jumping in front of the kings horse etc and suffragists protested without breaking the law
November 2019. I've lost count how many times I've watched through these podcasts. Thank you for the years of content.
Just put the statues in a museum. So you take them out of the public for those who want it and put it in a museum for those that want to learn about it
Jacob Peters yeah that’s never gonna happen, way too logical of a solution
coming back to watch these things from beyond 2020 and hearing Geoff say "my divorce is the least depressing thing going on in my life right now... every time you turn on the news its something brutal". Oh you sweet, sweet boys... buckle up, the next 2 years are gunna be wild. Edit: Glad everyone got through it and we're still all here together. RT has been a part of my life since RvB season 1 and I agree, it wasn't always easy trying to explain my interpretation of the company name to people... but I can't imagine it being anything else.
Christmas came early this year!!! YES GEOFF!!!
I love when Geoff is on the podcast. Is a very serious and funny at the same time and you also learn a lot. Hope they bring him back on the newer ones.
Now, that was an interresting podcast.
Gus making Simpsons references and no one else catching them speaks to me on a personal level
Contrary to the title, Geoff looks really young and good in this one!
GEOFF? WHAT?! HOW?!
I literally bought a First account just to watch Achievement Haunter, I'm lovin' your show Geoff! :)
Binge eating disorder is a real thing. You don't have to purge for it to be considered an eating disorder. I mindlessly eat carbs, emotionally eat, and sometimes eat to the point of feeling uncomfortable. I've even started therapy for it.
Wow. Geoff seems so much happier these days. If he can do it, so can I
Haven't watched an RT podcast in years. I really enjoyed this. I'm sure there are all sorts of people asking for the guys from the old drunk tank era to do these things again. I do miss listening to Joel, Geoff, Matt, Gus, and Berny all just argue with each other and talk about games, tech, sports, and investing (Double Gold!)
dad podcast 😍
gus isn't a dad
He is a daddy
@@Shankalten really.
Gus isn't a dad
Geoff should be declared The Poet Laureate for his beautiful story about switching from Diet Coke to Diet Pepsi.
Oh my god.
Geoff used to be one of my favorite people at RT, but in this episode he did/said something so disgusting and offensive that I'm honestly thinking of of writing a formal letter of complaint to RT....
Seriously WTF Geoffrey
diet Pepsi better than diet Coke.
Come on dude.
Diet drinks are very bad for you so is soda in general . I haven't had a soda in 15 years.
Coke is so gross
I was kinda mad, then i wasn't
Kudos to you
Diet Pepsi is infinitely better than Diet Coke
Coke zero is clearly the best option...
"Snapchat is dead". I love it.
I enjoy it when you guys get political. Whilst I don't agree on most of the points, I see that it is healthy to open up these discussions so everyone can get a fresh view. It opens my mind to other viewpoints and makes me consider everything else. Keep it up guys.
The problem is how one sided and heavy handed it is. Have someone to actually go against. Dont just preach down.
So, when you talk with your friends you invite someone you disagree with to come put their points in? It's a podcast, not a sermon, they aren't preaching to anyone, just chatting about stuff they are interested in.
If you need the RT podcast to talk politics to hear the viewpoints of the left-of-center, you must not consume pretty much any other media.
@@divit57 What I mean is the rationale behind the views being explained in a relatively calm manner rather than incoherent arguing which is in the mainstream of all sides of the spectrum.
@@MoriguTheDead This isnt really talking to friends. This a program from a multimillion dollar business who is owned by a multibillion dollar corporation. They would get shut down the moment they started losing money.
This is awesome to watch just 3 good old friends just hanging out with each other just talking.
Geoff!!! We love you
Fun fact, many of the confederate statues were actually erected in the 1900s in reaction to the civil rights movement, not immediately after the war
Geoff is correct; Diet Pepsi tastes better. It is closer to regular Pepsi than Coke and Diet Coke.
Regular coke is the best though hands down.
I had a diet doctor pepper yesterday. It tasted like flavored water not soda
Nick, RUN! you better hope Ryan never sees that comment lol
Obviously diet Pepsi is close to Pepsi than coke or diet coke.. who would want diet coke or coke to taste like Pepsi?
50:12 Burnie. BURNIE! It was MILES LUNA and KERRY SHAWCROSS that we’re with you when the guy “died” on your flight. They brought it up on RT Podcast #255
Edit: 52:41 Thank you MLouis8384
The original story about the guy who died on the plane is podcast 255
haha that switch from geoff's troubled childhood to the add read was so jarring!
3 years earlier they mentioned ukraine and putin but uhhh....wow they got their answer. Damn its a crazy time
@@yourah3 but the invasion is much more committed now, its more war now than annexation
Rewatching this is October 2020. Listening to them talking about the political climate and police controversy show how long this has been building up.
Let’s be honest they look good for their ages even though they’re not that old
As someone who lives here, I share Geoff’s hate for Alabama. Big mood.
My step Father who I lived with from when I was like 10-18 years old. Every now and then I'd have to call the ambulance because he was in diabetic shock. I've held him down during seizures. He had type 1 and it destroyed his body.
But whyy? did he just neglect it? And oncr you were older how did you not notice when his blood sugar was low or high? Not being condescending just curious?
Every time we see Geoff on any kind of podcast, we learn something new about him. What an amazing guy
Geoff is looking better than ever these days
Being sober and happy does that.
Imagine if at 50:48 Gus said, "Hey, this episode of the RT Podcast is brought to you by Life cereal"...
Geoff is looking fiiiiinnnneee!
I haven't watched an RT Podcast in about 2 years, but for this classic cast, I'm back
Talking about Ekert without even mentioning its glorious transformation from Genovese
God listening to this podcast in 2020 hits differently
GEOFF? AGAIN? The last time was great but took a bit of a solemn turn with the whole "ad" issue but will this finally be a full podcast with just pure laughs?!
I didnt realize this was 4 years ago and I was about to run to the rooster teeth store
50:50 but what about ghost mates? or roast mates??
MY FAV THREE RT MEMBERS ON A PODCAST? YES PLEASE
