This second episode proved to me the first wasn't a fluke. The writing is incredibly clever and interesting. In just two episodes, each of the characters has showcased their own intricacies that develops them beyond the easy option of one-note characters. The slow pacing, usually not my thing, accentuates this and grips me completely. Good work.
☝what they said. first episode it was feeling good but wasn't quite sure. when we got to this one it just solidified things. and I care about the characters a bit already, enough that I'm fine with sitting through their dumb conversations XD
Also took my words. Imma just "fourth" this sentiment right now. And I'm a diehard fan of the OG machinima, if you know what I mean. Standards are up there.
This guys remind me a lot of the people I hang out with at a job site “the old timer” “the drunk” “the apprentice” “the girl”. “the weird guy” and “the know it all” they all bring there own flavor and experience to the day and it’s nice.
I have to say, as someone who GREW UP with Red vs. Blue, this is such a throwback. But it's not some carbon copy, it's a standalone, genuine project, and I can almost feel the effort you guys put into this. I'm so excited to see where this goes, and even though my only "complaint" is that the intro music ISN'T on Spotify or RUclips, I am incredibly happy to find another amazing Halo machinma. Keep up the great work!!!
100% agreed! It is different but great! It almost feels like a mix (to me) of RvB and Spriggs (if anyone knows it) I think that’s amazing lol. Some of the Spriggs humors wasn’t my fav, but this is doing awesome so far, and I would love to help in anyway if anyone would like. If not however, I’m content just watching it haha.
Yk, this series is looking pretty damn good so far. I’m enjoying it, the part with Peanut saying “Lizzie needs me to wrench her secret door” and Pops saying “Peanut, we can’t get another citation” got me dying. Already loving the jokes so far
While I understand why everyone is comparing Crash to RVB, but genuinely, this has such a fresh take and appeal that rvb lacks in some strange way I love how the team dynamic is working, Crash is exactly as fed up as you’d expect, Duke being a drunken demoman (where have I heard that before…) is amazing, Target geniunely holding back and trying to learn, Peanut for being both as stereotypical and atypical as possible at the same time, Izzy being the only competent one whilst having realistic reactions, and pops living up to his name by being the “father figure” has already led to an amazing group dynamic Keep it up, this looks like it’ll be going in an awesome direction
Yes, I genuinely love how these characters aren't just living references to RVB. These guys took the time to flesh out their own characters, and I've enjoyed each one of them so far. We don't need a new RVB, we're just itching for some more good Halo machinima, and this is that.
People comparing this to Red vs Blue, saying this is going to be the next RvB and wanting crossovers, are missing the forest for the trees here. This is something entirely new, yet familiar, and should be afforded the opportunity to grow and stand on its own two feet, otherwise it risks being limited by the looming shadow that is Red vs Blue. Homages to the series are present but sparse, clearly not attempting to emulate rooster teeth but still paying respects, so to me comparing the two serves little more than to stifle creativity and the audience's perception. I think after this episode Crash is in the clear, and can move forward with confidence knowing it has a core audience whose interest in the series isn't predicated on it being any sort of spiritual successor to Red vs Blue, and who respect the foundation that's been laid with these few chapters. Godspeed, good luck, and for the love of christ TAKE YOUR TIME between episodes. We don't need weekly episodes, or even monthly; just give it to us when it's finished and you're happy. Thanks.
I see a lot of people saying this will become the next RvB or it’s spiritual successor and that’s what I thought too at first, but I hope this becomes it’s own thing with it’s own identity, which to be frank it already is, just hope more people see that, because in just two episodes I’ve completely fallen in love. The next couple of months and hopefully maybe even years will be fun, looking forward for more of this. Am also guessing that whatever those things are is what the computer scan meant with the fact that there were more people in the facility than there is in the crew
I really appreciate the effort that went into the subtitles. A shame they seem to stop here, but I understand that's it must be a sizeable time investment. I'm loving what I'm seeing from the series so far, and hope it finds success!
I want them to remain isolated, I loved RvB in its time. But I love this now. And I don't want new audience members to think it's just more of the same.

Hmm secret rooms, ghost like figures, radio glitching out, falcons flying about perhaps to look for those missing people that were talked about on the radio, not to mention some organization watching them on the cameras? Definitely more to meets the eye when it comes to this series, can’t wait for more.
Another Great Episode! Secret Room? Mysterious blurs? Eerie radio voices? A nosy security system? What seems like a laid back series of a team of Fixers Is slowly shaping up to be quite the mystery thriller
This is your time, man. With RVB on its way out, people are going to be looking for something to fill that empty space. And all things point towards CRASH being that something.
I really like how Izzy calls everyone by there real name and not by Duke's nickname he gives them. Probably because she was the only person who wouldn't have it on Duke giving her a nickname. I wondered why in episode 1 her name didn't sound like a nickname and now it all makes sense. I just found that interesting and you didn't even give it any real attention.
It really feels like finding an old friend watching this, nothing will beat the classic style of machinima and it makes me happy someone is wanting to keep the tradition alive.
In the midst of a binge before Episode 6, and I love how obliviously aware of the strange inconsistencies Peanut is. "That one kinda looks like glass", the ghost theory, reading the floor plans, the passing remark about the "mystery show on the radio." The attention to the small things is just another piece of what makes this series so phenomenal.
Likely not. Voi and the surrounding area (meaning half the continent) got glasses soon after, so I don’t think the Flood is going to be much of a threat at this point.
This episode did NOT disappoint. I havent been this engaged with a series like this in a long time. I really want to help you guys with any voice acting so feel free to ask me for that! Im really good at voiceovers!
As soon as Crash asked Peanut is he saw something weird, I instantly heard in my head Sarge talking about the man who claimed to be his uncle do the thing with the garden hose that still haunts him to this day 😂
This is very interesting! RvB at the start was entirely a comedy that didn’t try to have a serious narrative but I can already see the breadcrumbs appearing for some great storytelling! I can’t wait to have my questions answered in the future episodes, enjoy the vacation!
I was on the fence with the last episode being extremely dialogue heavy (good dialogue, but dialogue heavy none the less) but this episode has really sold me on it. I still think there's just a little too much dialogue but it's a much better balance in this episode I think, the half hour episode size definitely helps with fleshing out the characters and building up intrigue, I just hope future episodes can keep the pace that this one established. I look forward to what comes next either way!

Thank you for this series. It warms my heart to see Machinima back on the rise. Getting flashbacks of Spriggs, old RvB, and Outpost Coagulation watching Crash. Y’all are doing awesome!
Just finished EP Dos, and as I mentioned before, the characters are superb. I love the dumb fishing story between Duke and Target. The comedy and intrigue was amazing, I wonder what those Flicker-folks (idk what you're calling em). Crash despite being a loner couldn't resist the dumb allure of the Nut Man. I love this, so glad you decided to keep it going. I love everyone, the Boss, Izzy, Nut Man, Duke, Crash, and Target. I'm just highlighting my favorite moments from this EP. Congrats on 10k Sub and 100K Views, bro!
The last season of rvb in the fall, this is the next thing everyone is anticipating for. It's made extremely well, can't wait for the adventures of Crash and gang!!
Okay that moment where the camera stopped recording because Peanut exceeded the sound limit caught me off guard 😆 Awesome job so far! Keep it up man! :)
Another great episode. As someone in the military, the joke about lifting with your back and being told they going to be there for 6-9 months felt right at home. Also, I love that, unlike Red vs Blue, this machinima actually acknowledges that they are in the Halo universe considering the mention of Covenant and the crashsite in Voi (aka the Flood crashsite that was glassed in Halo 3).
God can't wait for the next episode, with RvB coming to a close this is gonna fill a hole many people will have. I hope to see it prosper even further!
Thank you to everyone who worked on this series. This feels like classic Halo Machinima from the late 2000's and I'm all for it. Side note- I love how they are using the location of High Ground. That was and is such a great asymmetrical map.
The wait for Episode 2 was well worth it. You guys have done it again and dropped another quality episode! I’m very curious to see how the plot plays out, as well as seeing how each character develops. Keep up the great work, and best of luck with the next episode! 🤝

Okay that moment where the camera stopped recording because Peanut exceeded the sound limit caught me off guard 😆
Awesome job so far! Keep it up man! :)
Everytime duke says "Sick" I imagine him bringing his arms up like those puppets from blark and son lol
"No, he lives in Michigan."
Ok, that got me.
I got The Meta vibes from this episode ❤
The Meta the villain 🦹♂️ from red vs blue series
8:47 9:17. Coming back here from episode 5. How did i miss this!??
13:46 thats definitely coming back
14:31 “that one looks like glass”
then immediately no going back now. they are stuck in a dome.
they are 100% stuck in that dome, and they havent left yet. bur why cant they leave?
Another great episode. As someone in the military, the joke about lifting with your back and being told they going to be there for 6-9 months felt right at home. Also, I love that, unlike Red vs Blue, this machinima actually acknowledges that they are in the Halo universe considering the mention of Covenant and the crashsite in Voi (aka the Flood crashsite that was glassed in Halo 3).
Oh my god is that a civil protection reference? 3:07 now that's a throw back.
feels like RvB back when it was still grounded and fun instead of the kinda overcomplicated mess it is now. Thank you, god knows i needed this
I feel like there's a mystery here that will make things more complicated
God can't wait for the next episode, with RvB coming to a close this is gonna fill a hole many people will have. I hope to see it prosper even further!
Thank you to everyone who worked on this series. This feels like classic Halo Machinima from the late 2000's and I'm all for it.
Side note- I love how they are using the location of High Ground. That was and is such a great asymmetrical map.
This show has a good heart to it. I love the personalities of all the characters. Very funny. Can't wait for episode 3
The radio continuing to flip through the stations in the background killed me 😂
The wait for Episode 2 was well worth it. You guys have done it again and dropped another quality episode! I’m very curious to see how the plot plays out, as well as seeing how each character develops. Keep up the great work, and best of luck with the next episode! 🤝
It's nice to see another Halo universe fan story
