Well, in a way, Chara being simple but powerful sort of reflects how the Genocide Route is played, forgoing complexity for being able to one-shot practically everything. And I especially liked the "ITEM" segment where Chara uses every single weapon, kinda like Omega Flowey's SOUL attacks but jacked up to 11. Even has their "hit animations" sprinkled in.
i also like how he did not used a mini segment for the toy knife because chara already has a knife. or the final segment has the tooy knife and real knife,btw i also liked that the stick is not used because it has 0 atk. like GENIUS.

I love the idea of speed being the key to Chara’s attacks. It makes them feel almost catlike, like a hunter, quick to strike and end things once and for all.

I actually like how Chara goes out. It’s kinda depicted as a Quick time event. Chara will always get that close to the bar, or somewhere close. So you need to get a hit that is closer to the middle than Chara’s, or else you would die.
Mac Madness I think it would be an Auto-Kill. Chara’s charge color was red, so maybe they put their all into that attack, so if you “miss” you’re gonna die.

Despite all the crazy fights before this, this fight felt so climactic that it's still so awesome. That final animation with Frisk and Chara both slashing each other was amazing as well as Chara's final monologue.
I feel the attacks would be lessened a little to make it possible without it taking hundreds of tries. Also with the player having 9 lives and each life has 20 hp, the overall health pool the player has is 180 hp which is 18 less hp than if you were to double Chara’s hp at LOVE/Level 20. The player does have a Tohou boss ability of limiting damage taken with the lives.
One thing I noticed starting from Undyne is that every single desperation move the enemies make makes you feel high levels of tension. From Undyne's vortex of spears, Mettaton's ultimate explosion, and Asgore's life's final frontier, all these attacks give a sense of grandness and tension that's really hard to replicate in general. Chara's "Duel Stance" desperation move takes all that tension, and focuses it into a single point. A feeling of, "everything banks on one action, so don't screw it up." Really good video.
You can feel the desperation in the final attack. A barrage of projectiles, hoping any of them are enough to kill you. Rapid slashing, hoping at least one hits. One very powerful, desperate attack so strong it breaks the battlebox. Trying with all their might to not even let you attack. Finally, banking all their power and determination into one final attack, a trump card move that requires you to be almost perfect.
I wanted to spend this time, being the end of season one, to compliment the creator on several things, as a lot of hard work went into this, down to the “bone” First off, he keeps every person’s personality in mind: papyrus isn’t likely to become something like disbelief papyrus, and still would believe in you, even helping you on his dying breath. Alphys is everything but perfect: and left some quirks in mettaton’s programming, like using his normal leg attack and talks as if she was mettaton EX until she notes her behavior. Undyne, being the hardcore fighter that never backs down lives to it expectations: even Asgore, at first wishing to discuss things over a nice cup of tea escalates to save his kingdom. Toriel held back and DIDNT finish off the child, and realized after she was dying that this kid was a monster that wished nothing but death upon the monster race. Even chara realizes that this is pointless, and that your sins can’t simply be redeemed because they want to return to a empty world. Of course, chara became corrupt after repeating this, so I think King35 did outstanding out on this. The design is amazing, colorful attacks and resemblance to Touhou is outstanding, and it’s entertaining to watch a small heart icon dodge a staggering amount of projectiles that people would normally kill a person thousands of times before beating them back is just... a experience I can’t put into words Also, the brilliance of turning this into some sort of game of its own, DDD, was a incredible idea, plus making a system that is self aware and causes distortion events with almost impossible encounters is a very Inspiring concept that, if I ever learned to make things and had patience, makes me want to put together such a awe inspiring game. I also love how the tutorial guide also, despite your wishes to slaughter him, gives you the proper determination and tools to end chara once and for all, to save the system and to go down a brighter path. However, I think there’s a alternate path that is being paved now? I look forward to seeing more incredible stuff from you, although I doubt this comment will be glanced over by your eyes, but I felt as if I needed to get my ideas out into a comment for others to read and agree with, so for anyone that had read up to this point, thanks for reading, and have a nice day!
I really like this papyrus don't get me wrong, but I feel people clown on Disbelief to much, I mean sure Pap is pure but in the Disbelief story he watched everyone die, and he didn't go all edge the hedge like everyone says he did, he tries to kill you because he thinks that is what he has to do but he knows he is forcing it, ending the fight believing in you even after everything. Even if you don't like Disbelief for its concepts it's still an honest and real cool animation, I spread this message in belief of Disbelief.
Put simply, wow. Laying out my thoughts here, this fight seems to be a whole lot more impactful than Sans/Yukari because it focuses far less on eye candy, and instead has lightning-fast reaction times and a ridiculously well-thought out set of attacks. Honestly, this was a lot more FUN to watch.
Mac Madness I mean that just straight up has Yukari in it lol. But a lot of stuff in the entire series is literally just something from Touhou. (If there were difficulties below easy mode.)

While this is on a “smaller” scale than Asgore and Sans, I still really loved this episode! Chara’s sprites look really good, and the limited deaths mechanic reminded me of a Genocide variation on the True Pacifist “but it refused” segment, and made the battle genuinely tense as it went on! That final moment where you have to execute your attack more accurately than Chara was also incredibly unique, and seemed like it could have been in the game proper! Well done all around, seriously. I also really like this interpretation of Chara; their worldview makes it completely understandable how they could be pushed to erase the world over the course of a Genocide Run, while at the same time making it clear that they weren’t, and still aren’t, just some “evil demon child.” As Asriel said, this is a human that hated humanity, and Frisk’s actions drove them further over the edge, to the point of they themselves becoming everything they hated in life. As a fan of Undertale and Touhou alike, I adore this series, and you’ve only gotten better and better as it progressed. I’m incredibly excited to see what you have planned for the Pacifist run, and hope that you take your time to bring your incredible visuals and story to life. It’s a new decade, and a new chapter for Undertale DDD; I can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store ^_^

One interesting thing that I picked up was the fact that the sound that plays when Frisk is hit, is the same when you attack an enemy in Undertale. Conversely, hitting Chara makes the same noise as the one when the Player's SOUL is damaged in normal Undertale -- sorta signifying that Chara is still 'technically' the main 'protagonist' and Frisk (now the player) is the enemy. In a sense, we are the monster now (in more ways than one actually...)

Chara’s dialogue reminds of the Connor Kenway and Charles Lee scene in Assassin’s Creed. Lee asks Connor why he fights even though he’s lost all of his allies and everything he worked for is gone, with Connor’s answer being, “[I fight] Because nobody else will.” As for Chara saying pure pacifism is unrealistic and unsuccessful, she’s right in terms of humans, but wrong in terms of monsters. Even in the original game, the monsters are not above going to war, especially Undyne, but unlike with humans sometimes, an act of kindness goes a long way.
After seing every undertale DDD videos that you made, i already know that it will be amazing and that i can already like it, keep making awesome content!
Wait, no lol. I have quite a few questions. What happens when all deaths are consumed? Is it regular game over or...? What happens if you die from Chara’s seemingly set 19-damage attack? What was that weird “erase” option? What happens if you don’t kill Chara (attack misses or not enough damage is dealt w/in the turn limit)? What are the other endings? In other words, this is amazing! And what was the Diary? Where did the Umbrella weapon come from?Ooooo
It's kind of interesting to go back and see how awesome the evolution of this series has been. I mean, take a look at the toriel battle compared to the asgore battle, or even the sans/yukari battle. I love this series, and I wish more people would react to it, because this is generally underrated.
I like this interpretation of Chara, they're still not a great person, as stated by Asriel. I prefer it while people don't just spam in their material "Guyz! Chara isn't Evil! They Aren't- EVIL! At ALL!" It's Just kinda annoying, as they force it on you. Here, they're not a good person, nor are they a 1-Dimensional "Villain." I do like how they dislike Pacifism, simply because they believe the world is unrealistic. I dislike both when they're extremely evil or good, as it makes them 1-Dimensional, in this, you can see their motivations, along with Frisk's. Chara thinks Pacifism is a fallacy, a lie. Whilst Frisk wants redemption for their bad actions. Frisk themselves is also still a bad person, not just an "Angel." They rise above Chara because they seek redemption, from their evil actions, they want to give the people of this world a happy ending, they want to end this game. Chara believes that Genocide is the only ending, that Pacifism is a lie in itself, and that Frisk will grow bored. Chara believes that even if Frisk wins, in the end, they will get the last laugh.
It really gets under my skin when people say that chara is pure evil when the game explicitly says that YOU are the whole reason the genocide route even happens in the first place. "But chara possesses frisk then they start killing." No because they are with you the entire time in the underground. All people have to do is pay attention to the text box when its giving information. There is no way possible frisk would know anything about the underground including the stats and behaviors of other monsters not to mention they straight up talk to frisk in the genocide route using said text box. That being said the options during battle, good and bad, are things chara would do no doubt and they not even tell frisk to kill anyone but instead off helpful advice and even insults frisk here and there. They aren't the best person but they aren't some demon either (that happens due to chara tagging along during the genocide route where once again the game, hell even chara, says you caused all of this)

I never meant to imply, nor believe Chara possessed Frisk, as they could likely only do that when Frisk has high LV or Chara holds their soul, as otherwise if we assume Chara is evil, and they can just possess Frisk, then Pacifist routes wouldn't exist. Also, Chara wouldn't know those stats either. Whaddya think Chara did, just walked around like "Heya, what are your stats?" Also how would Chara know the stats of Undyne the Undying and Asriel Dreemurr, two people that were definitely not in existance when Chara was in the underground. @Dung Tran Quang That theory doesn't make sense. As you don't have the choice to kill Asgore. Even if Frisk was insane, you would still have control. Also Frisk doesn't really act insane, their face is neutral. They'd likely look a bit more crazed if they were Mentally unstable. Also Chara erasing everything doesn't "save" anyone. That's just helping Frisk for all intents and purposes. Finishing the job isn't mercy. Now if Chara simply reset to mock Frisk, by saying "Hey look! You almost did it, but sorry, I reset!" Then it would be more moral, this would also likely stop Frisk, as they would realize trying Genocide once more would be pointless.

I feel that DDD should be an official game. It really captures how punishing the game should be for committing atrocious sin of wiping out civilization. This. The Asgore fight. It all just shows how much the game is against you. Wanting to stop what you are doing. You are supposed to suffer and in that suffering you are supposed to feel bad for what you are doing. Should you be one of the few that win this run you don't feel good. You feel awful at what you did. Reset. Go down a better path like what Gaster is hinting at.

The only real complaint I have with this episode is that, It’s hard to see where the soul is. Other than that, this is a really pretty looking fight. Edit: Ok. That was a really cool ending. Edit dos: After finishing the entire video and reading the description, I have to say, this is a very good video to end Season 1 on. Very pretty and clean animation, (No phantom fire circles this time) and an actual end (story wise.) Overall, great video. It really felt like an actual genocide Chara fight. I think what makes this even harder to see in comparison to say Undertale Determination's Outlined SOUL, is that 'thanks' to RUclips's video compression methods, if the screen is too busy with a lot of stuff (happens alot with rain, snow and in this case: Bullets), it'll fuzzy up the quality. With Determination (game), there's not a lot of things on the screen, so it's easier to see and it renders properly on RUclips. Well, that's what I think is happening anyways.

I wanted to spend this time, being the end of season one, to compliment the creator on several things, as a lot of hard work went into this, down to the “bone”
First off, he keeps every person’s personality in mind: papyrus isn’t likely to become something like disbelief papyrus, and still would believe in you, even helping you on his dying breath. Alphys is everything but perfect: and left some quirks in mettaton’s programming, like using his normal leg attack and talks as if she was mettaton EX until she notes her behavior. Undyne, being the hardcore fighter that never backs down lives to it expectations: even Asgore, at first wishing to discuss things over a nice cup of tea escalates to save his kingdom. Toriel held back and DIDNT finish off the child, and realized after she was dying that this kid was a monster that wished nothing but death upon the monster race. Even chara realizes that this is pointless, and that your sins can’t simply be redeemed because they want to return to a empty world. Of course, chara became corrupt after repeating this, so I think King35 did outstanding out on this.
The design is amazing, colorful attacks and resemblance to Touhou is outstanding, and it’s entertaining to watch a small heart icon dodge a staggering amount of projectiles that people would normally kill a person thousands of times before beating them back is just... a experience I can’t put into words
Also, the brilliance of turning this into some sort of game of its own, DDD, was a incredible idea, plus making a system that is self aware and causes distortion events with almost impossible encounters is a very Inspiring concept that, if I ever learned to make things and had patience, makes me want to put together such a awe inspiring game.
I also love how the tutorial guide also, despite your wishes to slaughter him, gives you the proper determination and tools to end chara once and for all, to save the system and to go down a brighter path. However, I think there’s a alternate path that is being paved now? I look forward to seeing more incredible stuff from you, although I doubt this comment will be glanced over by your eyes, but I felt as if I needed to get my ideas out into a comment for others to read and agree with, so for anyone that had read up to this point, thanks for reading, and have a nice day!

I really like this papyrus don't get me wrong, but I feel people clown on Disbelief to much, I mean sure Pap is pure but in the Disbelief story he watched everyone die, and he didn't go all edge the hedge like everyone says he did, he tries to kill you because he thinks that is what he has to do but he knows he is forcing it, ending the fight believing in you even after everything.
Even if you don't like Disbelief for its concepts it's still an honest and real cool animation, I spread this message in belief of Disbelief.

Put simply, wow.
Laying out my thoughts here, this fight seems to be a whole lot more impactful than Sans/Yukari because it focuses far less on eye candy, and instead has lightning-fast reaction times and a ridiculously well-thought out set of attacks. Honestly, this was a lot more FUN to watch.

While this is on a “smaller” scale than Asgore and Sans, I still really loved this episode! Chara’s sprites look really good, and the limited deaths mechanic reminded me of a Genocide variation on the True Pacifist “but it refused” segment, and made the battle genuinely tense as it went on! That final moment where you have to execute your attack more accurately than Chara was also incredibly unique, and seemed like it could have been in the game proper! Well done all around, seriously.
I also really like this interpretation of Chara; their worldview makes it completely understandable how they could be pushed to erase the world over the course of a Genocide Run, while at the same time making it clear that they weren’t, and still aren’t, just some “evil demon child.” As Asriel said, this is a human that hated humanity, and Frisk’s actions drove them further over the edge, to the point of they themselves becoming everything they hated in life.
As a fan of Undertale and Touhou alike, I adore this series, and you’ve only gotten better and better as it progressed. I’m incredibly excited to see what you have planned for the Pacifist run, and hope that you take your time to bring your incredible visuals and story to life. It’s a new decade, and a new chapter for Undertale DDD; I can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store ^_^

One interesting thing that I picked up was the fact that the sound that plays when Frisk is hit, is the same when you attack an enemy in Undertale. Conversely, hitting Chara makes the same noise as the one when the Player's SOUL is damaged in normal Undertale -- sorta signifying that Chara is still 'technically' the main 'protagonist' and Frisk (now the player) is the enemy. In a sense, we are the monster now (in more ways than one actually...)

Chara’s dialogue reminds of the Connor Kenway and Charles Lee scene in Assassin’s Creed. Lee asks Connor why he fights even though he’s lost all of his allies and everything he worked for is gone, with Connor’s answer being, “[I fight] Because nobody else will.”
As for Chara saying pure pacifism is unrealistic and unsuccessful, she’s right in terms of humans, but wrong in terms of monsters. Even in the original game, the monsters are not above going to war, especially Undyne, but unlike with humans sometimes, an act of kindness goes a long way.
I am a huge fan of your work and am impressed every single time please don’t stop until the job is done.

What happens when all deaths are consumed? Is it regular game over or...? What happens if you die from Chara’s seemingly set 19-damage attack? What was that weird “erase” option? What happens if you don’t kill Chara (attack misses or not enough damage is dealt w/in the turn limit)? What are the other endings? In other words, this is amazing!

It's kind of interesting to go back and see how awesome the evolution of this series has been. I mean, take a look at the toriel battle compared to the asgore battle, or even the sans/yukari battle. I love this series, and I wish more people would react to it, because this is generally underrated.
I like this interpretation of Chara, they're still not a great person, as stated by Asriel. I prefer it while people don't just spam in their material "Guyz! Chara isn't Evil! They Aren't- EVIL! At ALL!" It's Just kinda annoying, as they force it on you. Here, they're not a good person, nor are they a 1-Dimensional "Villain." I do like how they dislike Pacifism, simply because they believe the world is unrealistic. I dislike both when they're extremely evil or good, as it makes them 1-Dimensional, in this, you can see their motivations, along with Frisk's. Chara thinks Pacifism is a fallacy, a lie. Whilst Frisk wants redemption for their bad actions. Frisk themselves is also still a bad person, not just an "Angel." They rise above Chara because they seek redemption, from their evil actions, they want to give the people of this world a happy ending, they want to end this game. Chara believes that Genocide is the only ending, that Pacifism is a lie in itself, and that Frisk will grow bored. Chara believes that even if Frisk wins, in the end, they will get the last laugh.
It really gets under my skin when people say that chara is pure evil when the game explicitly says that YOU are the whole reason the genocide route even happens in the first place. "But chara possesses frisk then they start killing." No because they are with you the entire time in the underground. All people have to do is pay attention to the text box when its giving information. There is no way possible frisk would know anything about the underground including the stats and behaviors of other monsters not to mention they straight up talk to frisk in the genocide route using said text box. That being said the options during battle, good and bad, are things chara would do no doubt and they not even tell frisk to kill anyone but instead off helpful advice and even insults frisk here and there. They aren't the best person but they aren't some demon either (that happens due to chara tagging along during the genocide route where once again the game, hell even chara, says you caused all of this)

I never meant to imply, nor believe Chara possessed Frisk, as they could likely only do that when Frisk has high LV or Chara holds their soul, as otherwise if we assume Chara is evil, and they can just possess Frisk, then Pacifist routes wouldn't exist. Also, Chara wouldn't know those stats either. Whaddya think Chara did, just walked around like "Heya, what are your stats?" Also how would Chara know the stats of Undyne the Undying and Asriel Dreemurr, two people that were definitely not in existance when Chara was in the underground. So Chara wouldn't know about those stats either. Also Mettaton Neo's Stats. I could go on and on, but the Chara is the narrator theory can get confusing.

@Dung Tran Quang That theory doesn't make sense. As you don't have the choice to kill Asgore. Even if Frisk was insane, you would still have control. Also Frisk doesn't really act insane, their face is neutral. They'd likely look a bit more crazed if they were Mentally unstable. Also Chara erasing everything doesn't "save" anyone. That's just helping Frisk for all intents and purposes. Finishing the job isn't mercy. Now if Chara simply reset to mock Frisk, by saying "Hey look! You almost did it, but sorry, I reset!" Then it would be more moral, this would also likely stop Frisk, as they would realize trying Genocide once more would be pointless.

Okay I can't tell which is better asgore, sans or this chara fight. Actual I will say the final asgore fight is what got me to sub to your channel so that takes 1st place. But for the sake of quality its hard to label who gets second in my rating. so far sans and Chara are tied in my book, for being epic.

I feel that DDD should be an official game. It really captures how punishing the game should be for committing atrocious sin of wiping out civilization. This. The Asgore fight. It all just shows how much the game is against you. Wanting to stop what you are doing. You are supposed to suffer and in that suffering you are supposed to feel bad for what you are doing. Should you be one of the few that win this run you don't feel good. You feel awful at what you did. Reset. Go down a better path like what Gaster is hinting at.

I think what makes this even harder to see in comparison to say Undertale Determination's Outlined SOUL, is that 'thanks' to RUclips's video compression methods, if the screen is too busy with a lot of stuff (happens alot with rain, snow and in this case: Bullets), it'll fuzzy up the quality. With Determination (game), there's not a lot of things on the screen, so it's easier to see and it renders properly on RUclips. Well, that's what I think is happening anyways.

However, even with the other destiny, Pacifist, my mind wanders through and through, we will FIGHT, and we will Spare, but will there be a destiny that will reveal... the truth...? What will happen if you actually *ERASE* the world? If that's not Eanaro, is that... *her?*
The other option looks like Eanaro. I'm guessing he's the person we fight if we choose to 'ERASE'. As for 'her' we currently don't know who Eanaro is referring to. So, she hasn't been properly introduced yet most likely.
