Can also create armor. Determination: determination can manifest itself as whatever it wants to be

Sans's attack would have no power at all with a name as simple and lazy as "Special attack." Some interesting things to note about each special attack. Undyne's special is a glitchtale reference, based on the red spear and the quote: I am the spear of justice. Alphys's special is based on the doctor who conflict between the Torchwood one and Cybermen, against the Dalek and the cult of Skaro, that ended with both parties being sealed in the void (perhaps if frisk had survived longer...) Mettaton's special, 「Catalyst of a Thousand Suns」 is a reference to the song "Brighter than a Thousand Suns" by the rock band One Sided Soul, as mentioned in the description of the attack. Asgore is obvious, and a marvel fan, and if you don't get it at that point, I can't say much else. Chara's special name, Misery Doll, is a reference to Sakuya Izayou's spellcard,「Killing Doll」from Touhou hisokutenso (if I'm spelling that right). This is a joke on the fact that they both use knives in their bullet patterns. Gaster's special references glitchtale once more, showing off the powers of his fan-made polychromatism magic. Pretty clear, if you've seen glitchtale. Sans's attack includes the special attack of ness, PK Starfall, as a joke on the "sans is ness" theory from some time ago. It also references sans last line of defense, stalling. Though, this is quite a bit more literal, as it creates a black hole, the epitome of nothingness. G A P H A G Ta dah! Damn, I love this. Jamming 2hu references is one of my favorite things to see, plus Dr. Who and other references. I'm especially ecstatic about yukari's final word, both because again reference and just because it's yukari which is pretty cool. All in all, another fantastic project and a fitting end to season 1. Looking forward to season 2 and beyond that!
I was hoping Yukari and Sans would've had a combined last word that was Sans' lazily named attacks stacked on top of a danmaku interpretation of Yukari's Last Word from Touhou 15.5. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Still great tho!
Now _this_ is how you make references/memes work. Dr. Who, Thanos memes, straight-up _Earthbound SFX for Sans,_ and it all seems completely unintrusive and natural. Surprisingly, I think my personal favorite was Gaster. Also, if that attack is a reference to "Universal Cycle [The Big Bang and Big Crunch]" from "Brain of the Moon", I will marry you. -[Infinity Trident] My mind is shifting between ''Really, TK?" and ''OH MY GOD, THAT'S SO FREAKING *COOL* !!!". As someone who has long struggled with Last Words, trying to figure out what makes them special, you've hit every nail on the head. All of these are comparable to Saigyouji Parinirvana, which I consider to be the definition of a perfect Last Word. Infinity/10, would try to describe how incredible they are again. Sans: pulls out giant Gaster blaster. Me: Uh.... That is not good! Gaster Blaster: does not fire. Sans: yep. that's it. it is literally nothing. Me: okay for a second there I thought that would destroy u- *Sudden Destruction* Me: OH MY GOD!
From hardest to easiest (in my opinion) 1.Papyrus (kinda impossible ngl) 2.Undyne (the light and shake effect is too much) 3.Toriel (that explosion part is extremely random so we couldn't really see what's coming) 4.Foregoner kid (that last part when blue and orange bullets got rapidly spammed is insane) 5.Eanaro (touhou with faster bullets and stun necessity) 6.Gaster (it's hard because gaster combined various tactics with bullet hell feats) 7.Yukari (overwhelming 3d bullet attacks one after another, especially after that spiral bullet part) 8.Sans (that last attack is pretty hard to dodge due to extreme distortion,the rest is pretty much memorable) 10.Alphys (recuires a multiple eye focuses to avoid both bullets from west/east side with the war between both south and north side) 11.Chara (classic bullet hell) 12.Mettaton neo (slow bullet hell) 13.Asgore (very memorable ngl)
Asgores attack is actually randomized. So the order of the rocks are random in direction and placement. There is a golden chance that not any will spawn but that's a 1 in 30 million
i play LoLK on normal mode point device and i got to say, it's as hellish as these spell cards. at least i can retry as much as i can want in point device
I love how aggressive this series is from both sides without losing any of the charm or merits. From Toriel to Sans and Yukari it just feels like a death chasm where both sides just *wont* let up and it makes all these like, 1,000 times more rewatchable. This shit is some of the few pieces of media that has rewritten my neurons and I am thankful such peak has graced this creative landscape from the ideas, to the writing, sprites and animation. It makes every character really feel like a warrior. Now, my favorite "LAST WORD" is Sans from the sheer absurdity from the alarms to the attack pattern forming from the blasters implosive charge and Eanaro from the 'time-limit' idea and how Frisk deadass just accepts their face as a cosmic wave of death engorges their body.
last words have no difficulty, they're way harder than any lunatic attack and the only way to truly beat them is to not get hit because bombs don't do anything and you have one hp
OK, first of all, Mad props to you. The entirety of DDD must have taken a lot of work, and Im just gonna say, I FREAKIN LOVE IT! This Last Word mechanic is beyond amazing too! Im just curious....how exactly *do* you survive sans'? And What happens if you survive the Final Word? Do you just kill them? Special Cutscene? Whatever the case, keep it up, please, DDD is the best thing I've seen in a LONG while, and I cant help but get excited whenever I see an upload for one!

Conclusion: Thank you. As someone who has long struggled with Last Words, trying to figure out what makes them special, you've hit every nail on the head. All of these are comparable to Saigyouji Parinirvana, which I consider to be the definition of a perfect Last Word.

1.Papyrus (kinda impossible ngl)
2.Undyne (the light and shake effect is too much)
3.Toriel (that explosion part is extremely random so we couldn't really see what's coming)
4.Foregoner kid (that last part when blue and orange bullets got rapidly spammed is insane)
5.Eanaro (touhou with faster bullets and stun necessity)
6.Gaster (it's hard because gaster combined various tactics with bullet hell feats)
7.Yukari (overwhelming 3d bullet attacks one after another, especially after that spiral bullet part)
8.Sans (that last attack is pretty hard to dodge due to extreme distortion,the rest is pretty much memorable)
10.Alphys (recuires a multiple eye focuses to avoid both bullets from west/east side with the war between both south and north side)
11.Chara (classic bullet hell)
12.Mettaton neo (slow bullet hell)
13.Asgore (very memorable ngl)
Asgores attack is actually randomized. So the order of the rocks are random in direction and placement. There is a golden chance that not any will spawn but that's a 1 in 30 million

I love how aggressive this series is from both sides without losing any of the charm or merits.
From Toriel to Sans and Yukari it just feels like a death chasm where both sides just *wont* let up and it makes all these like, 1,000 times more rewatchable. This shit is some of the few pieces of media that has rewritten my neurons and I am thankful such peak has graced this creative landscape from the ideas, to the writing, sprites and animation. It makes every character really feel like a warrior.
Now, my favorite "LAST WORD" is Sans from the sheer absurdity from the alarms to the attack pattern forming from the blasters implosive charge and Eanaro from the 'time-limit' idea and how Frisk deadass just accepts their face as a cosmic wave of death engorges their body.
