    Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

    YAY! 😀 I’ve been waiting for you to do a 4 Seasons song featuring Frankie’s falsetto! 😀 I remember when this song was out, our local radio station had a voting contest between 2 songs. We would call in & vote. The winning song would be played again & go up against another song. This song kept winning. You need to hear “Sherry” … “Rag Doll” … “Opus 17” … “Big girls don’t cry” … “Let’s Hang On” …”Dawn” there are so many more… Thank you…Great reaction! 😀

    It was always Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons even though in the beginning they were called the Four Seasons. They were major hit makers through 1966 even during the Beatles first 3 years in the USA. In the 1970's, ca1974, after they had broken up in the late 1960's, Frankie created a new membership and called it Frankie Valli and the Four seasons, had some hits, and still he did solo work.Truly the reason they were at the top of charts in the 1960's was Frankie Valli's high voice is what sold the records, the backup vocals could have been done by any good singers. Truly a unique sound.

    The Four Seasons never went out without Frankie Valli. Starting in the late 60's Frankie started a solo career even though he stayed with the Four Seasons. His solo career always took a backseat to the group. Fast forward to the mid 70's and things changed. Tommy Divito was kicked out of the band and Bob Gaudio decided he didn't want to tour anymore (although he still wrote songs and recorded with them). This just left Frankie and Joe Long. The band took an extended break, and Frankie kicked his solo career into high gear. Joe Long kind of got pushed into retirement and that just left Frankie. The Four Seasons name was too valuable to just discard so Frankie started being referred to more and more as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, although it was basically just Frankie Vallie and a bunch of side men. Frankie was doing band stuff and solo stuff in all the shows by now, so it didn't matter.

    • @BrianAper
      @BrianAper Месяц назад

      Tom Divito left the Four Seasons in 1970 before the release of the Half& Half album. He did appear on that album. In 1972 they released the album Chameleon on Mowest Records and were billed as Frankie Valli-The Four Seasons as the album featured 2 Valli solo tracks and 6 group tracks, although I consider the track When The Morning Comes Frankie Valli solo. They were a true group consisting of Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Joe Long and Demitri Callas. In 1975 and 1977 they released the albums Who Loves You and Helicon on Warner/Curb Records and were still a true group consisting of Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Gerry Polci, Don Ciccone, John Paiva and Lee Shapiro.
      After the failure of Helicon, Valli and Gaudio disbanded the group and Valli went completely solo.But seeing his solo career was going nowhere, his only success being the single Grease, he reformed the Four Seasons and they released the album Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons Reunited Live in 1980. John Paiva and Lee Shapiro did not return and were replaced by Larry Lingle and Jerry Corbetta, the latter of Sugarloaf fame.Then, in 1985 the album Streetfighter was released billed as Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and in 1992 the album Hope & Glory was released billed as Four Seasons. It was these latter two albums that it was just Frankie Valli and side men.

      @jvsmith7888 Месяц назад

      I'll be the first to admit I have gaps in my knowledge. Also, I kind of lost interest in the group after they forced Joe Long out of the group. Joe's only crime was age, only slightly older that Frankie. It just rubbed me the wrong way. It was just wrong, plus Joe was a really good bass player. Still, I do love the Four Seasons overall.

      @@jvsmith7888 Sorry it took so long to reply. Someone in the organization obviously didn't think Tom Devito was a proficient guitarist because the Genuine Imitation Life Gazette has credits and it list him as a performer but not as a musician. Lead guitar is played by jazz guitarist Vinnie Corrao. Since no album before Gazette has credits it's unsure how many songs or entire albums that he might have been replaced.

    The BeeGees have rightly garnered acclaim for their collection of hits ....largely based on Barry s terrific falsetto ......but the 4 Seasons , and Frankie Valli ....preceeded the BeeGees by a full decade and a half ......Their collection of hits is no less impressive .

      The Beegees had a career that spanned about 5 decades,during which the Gibb brothers penned some thousand plus songs for themselves and others.The 'falsetto hits' are just a small part of their catalogue...and Barry is still going.Not trying to take anything away from Frankie Valli by any means..I'm a long time music lover of many genres.
