      So far yesterday it mowed the hole front yard today it mowed the front part of the backyard and tomorrow it's scheduled to mow the far back of the backyard. I did end up cutting out that side of the front yard that had all the trees It would have done it but it's going to save it so much time and since we had to manually mow the ditch anyway it won't be but a few more minutes of mowing on the big tractor to clean up around those trees too

      Thanks for watching and hopefully learning through my mistakes. The most important thing is to make sure the antenna has a nice open view of the sky, and also don't park Luba too close to your house because lupa has to see GPS satellites as well. Other than that you just got to drive Luba around to show it it's boundaries and make any no-go zones. Hopefully all goes smoothly for you!

    Depending on the type of cutting (work mode) you have set on the mower, Open up wasteland, conventional, fine or customize modes. Once you have set it and you start mowing you can then see what the mower is doing by looking at the application of the mower in action and see the pattern. You can also see how long its being doing and an estimated time to finish

    Are you concerned about service/repairs at all? I had several automowers years ago before getting frustrated by the boundary wire getting cut constantly by the farmer behind us. Got a riding mower for the past 3 years… but this seems like a great way to get back to robotic mowing at less then half the cost of an “epos” model. I just know that automowers needed repairs annually, and if something broke mid-mowing season… that was weeks of “ok, now what” while waiting for parts and that was with a dealer right up the road.

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  Год назад

      Well, it's hard to speak to the reliability since I'm just one week in... I can say with other brands I've had mixed results My Husqvarna has been very reliable for years. My Robomower has been a lot of trouble. The only thing you should have to do with an automower is regularly changed the blades, these razor blades don't last as long as regular lawn mower blades. But other than that the point of this is to set it and forget it and just let it do its thing.

      I haven't run into any signal problems between the mower and the RTK on 3 acres. 900 MHz doesn't exactly need direct line of sight. • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  Год назад

      @@larryhansen9003 as far as I'm aware there's no GPS in the actual base station. If you remote mount the RTK It shouldn't be a huge issue to mount near the house. That's exactly what I did.
