Yes, I agree. I know alot of work goes into the design of these iconic tools but also I find if we buy the first editions they keep coming out with new versions and better ones which I find really unfair!! 😔 Love you and Hubby working together! Makes me laugh so much 🤣😂 Love all your tutorials 💗
@@bevmorris7434 Yeah I know this was two years ago but I held out thinking some new version of the hair dryer will come out but that hasn’t happened yet…. So I just brought the Dyson supersonic hairdryer for Black Friday sale this year since they were giving out free stuff with it (worth around £90 usually) I’m paying for mines in instalments. Although I looove the hairdryer after I made my first payment of £100 I was like ‘ I don’t want don’t want to pay anymore, 100 seems reasonable for the technology but even more is a lot ‘ So yeah I kinda regret it cuz not worth £300 for a damn hair dryer but I do love it and have so many pros and less cons with it.
Fifi Lebelle I agree! Even if they were half the price, they would still be too expensive. I don't see them being any better than other gadgets, when you see the final hairstyle.. The only one I have been tempted by is the hairdryer if it's easier on the hair, but it would have to be at least 2/3 the current price before I'd be willing to shell out for it. Then again, I'm not highly motivated because I air dry my hair anyway.
Dyson Airwrap is revolutionary ... and totally brilliant. It’s an investment and will save a fortune in salon blow drys and deep conditioning treatments caused by over use of curling wands and tongs, esp if your hair is coloured. I don’t regret buying it for an instant, my hair looks the best it’s looked in fifty years. Though I’d never have bought it as I wouldn’t have believed it, if I hadn’t tried it out first in the shop. Crikey if I will spend that much on a vacuum cleaner, then I’m spending it on me!
for the DIY version: why not use pipe cleaners to keep the curled strand in place and the place inside the bottle contraption. this would free your nad to steady the bottle contraption instead. you could even hole punch a few holes to keep so much heat from containing and scalding you
These just seems like alt of work. I feel like blow drying then curling would be quicker than trying to figure it out. Cool video tho!! You always find the funnest stuff to review! Love my Revlon dryer brush too!
Hey girl I have the ulta app bc I'm a makeup junkie lol an I watched your video on there ! Congratulations! I cant wait to walk into ulta an see your face ! Lol
Girl I love you! I’ve watched you for over a year now and you’ve inspired me so much that I decided to create my own RUclips channel!! I can only hope that one day I can inspire someone else the way you inspired me!! Thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Actually I'd like to know where you got that little water spritzer from. Probably Amazon. I already have multiple kinds for multiple purposes but they're just the normal ones available in Walmart or Dollar Tree. The water concentration in the spray is too heavy for moistening clothes before I iron them or spritzing my face after applying make up and powder.
This is like Mythbusters meets I Love Lucy! Hysterical! “...Or she has no idea that her face is being used on this box.” I was worried that the plastic bottle would melt on your hair. Please be careful!!!
I hope you understand that you do not need to use dyson hair dryer to use the attachment, all you need a smaller hairdryer. I was just making fun of the attachment. :) Also, the Remington attachment looks just as bad. :)
No matter how many times people tell me I never use heat protection or worry about what damage could happen because I usually have some products in my hair for moisture
Ohhh nooooo, Can you believe it - I had it in my Amazon cart after watching this this afternoon, and before I finished the transaction, the darn thing had jumped up in price space by $75 (to $123)! Too bad, on the Amazon Canada site it seems like that was the only seller for this item. I guess I'll be taking a trip to the shops tomorrow…where they aren't THAT expensive.
Conair just came out with a hot air curler thingy! I think you need to check this one out and see if it compares to the Dyson as a good dupe!! This is what the Amazon headline is: Infiniti Pro by Conair 1½-Inch Tourmaline Ceramic Hot Air Curling Iron Please please please test this one out for us! No one on all of RUclips has tested it out because it's so new and only available on Amazon! Amazon sent it out to some people for free for a review, but I'm convinced that people just don't know what they are doing!
I have a really old Remington dryer with an attachment like that. Works perfectly for creating beachy waves. The Dyson is a joke - who in their right mind would pay that much??? Being a joke for your own hard-earned money is just not an option. :D
Milabu from a physics perspective, absolutely. My question is, does Dyson airwrap have the technology in the base? Or is it the attachment that produces the effect? If it happens in the base, this could obviously skew the results.
Hahahaha I know right? The entire time I was thinking why would anyone IRL attempt to curl their hair this way when there are so many other better and equally inexpensive options.
I feel like Dyson has a long way to go. $500+ for vacuum cleaners, hairdryers, and sellers is excessive. No one should be expected to have to spend that to make their hair pretty.
You have a great personality and I love your videos! As for these gadgets, they are just way too fussy. I think manufacturers are desperate to keep money coming in by presenting new items. I have never seen a hair video where the end product could not be achieved with anything more than a hairdryer, curling iron, and a flat iron.
Christie Fox is that the one where you can press the button and the round brush will roll out (rather than having to rotate the appliance to unroll the hair?)
The dupe side is cute but the Dyson side curls are so pretty with more body and bounce. This was a neat comparison but to me the plastic bottle is a serious waste of time. 💜 💜
Tbh if the quality is there (and it is) and the craftsmanship is there ( it is) then the question is not money it's joy. Imagine the joy of always knowing exactly how your hair will turn out (and you will) there are people in the world who buy quality and innovation. That should always be considered for any purchase. Joy × satisfaction × price × how often used = higher life quality. Now God gives the joy but He created the mind behind the tool. Honestly if I saved I could afford it in a few short months. Just saying......😇🥰
Ilhan Sharif-Idiris generally RUclips-ing is a hobby, not a paying gig. Bethi Boo Love to know, too! I've never found a pump spray that works for more than a month or so… If it works at all. I've probably wasted more money on those than anything.
Is it still a “hack” when it takes 2 people, a cannibalized knock off tool, and the same dyson air wrap that it is supposed to replaced? 😂 😂 Or you know, just the knock off AND the dyson 😂 Not sure 🤔 it is still a “dupe” when it still requires the original.
The only problem with Dyson is their price.
Absolutely!
@@pathb1725 like who can afford that! Either people have too much money or I'm poor lol
I agree, I can't justify the price on a hair product, way too much. Their prices are a ripped off.

Is it just me or does your pink brush look like that mini brush you get with a barbie but its just for humans😂😂😂 So cute. I want a "barbie" brush too
It does look like a barbie brush. They sell them at Ulta. They are for brushing wet hair. I just bought one before seeing this video lol
Probably already mentioned, but with the water bottle, you need to have the airflow either at the mid-bottom, or aimed down.
I was at my local Ulta beauty store getting my hair color corrected, colored and highlighted. Saw your beautiful picture hanging up on the wall.
Please please do a video on the chi lava spin and curl !

I wish you could have tried with a regular hairdryer because how much of that was because of the Dyson coanda effect?

There is normal hairdryers that fit doesn’t need to be a dyson all her other hairdryers are just to big
Just curious, do you have a particular one in mind? :)
Diva Pro Styling Ultima 5000 I had to look up the name but got this in the salon I work in and fits but we prefer the dyson just doesn’t fit the tool
The hole needs to be in the center of the bottle.....
