Port Stephens Wild Dolphins Swim Doesn't Go To Plan 😱

- Come and join us as we visit Port Stephens on the NSW coast, north of Sydney. Our main purpose for visiting the region was to swim with the wild dolphins, (we tried to do it 7 years ago but failed 😢) however we found so much more! But it didn’t quite go to plan and we may have just committed to staying at the most expensive caravan parks yet!
But was it worth it? Check out the video and see what all the hype is about!

Welcome to God’s country… We have lived in the Bay for 35 years and wished we could have aided your experiences in our backyard. We have definitely benefitted from your experiences around the traps when we venture away. Look forward to seeing the continuing journeys. Travel safe 😊
Thanks 😊 it certainly has a lot to offer. We’ll keep that in mind next time we are in the area 😉
Cheers
A HUNDRED A NIGHT ! You must be joking 🙃 for that I would want a champagne brekky in bed served every morning 😮 for me and my partner ! 😂 Another interesting video
Haha definitely champagne brekky. but the place was full!
Cheers
Paul's starting to look like a Parmy! lol.
Yeah might need to expand my menu a bit 😂
@@beyondthegreyoz ah no mate. You enjoy. They look wicked!
Need to add it to the list. It looks like a lovely place to visit lots to do. Have to agree $100 a night is very expensive. Thanks for all the information.
Thanks Julie yes it’s a beautiful area. And heads up if you do book in to Halifax it’s a cheaper rate to book for 4 or more nights
Cheers Paul and Wenda
Awesome you guys are also in my neck of the woods! Looking forward to seeing where you get to.
And what a great area it is 👍
Cheers

Thanks 😊
Have just added this to my list 👍 looks great
Haha yeah it is definitely a great place to visit
What a fantastic adventure. Pity you couldn’t swim Paul
It was a great experience. Fortunately there will be other opportunities 😉

Nice to see our old area, grew up in the Newcastle Region.
What a great part of the country 👍
Thanks Paul & Wenda, another great video! Thanks for showing us around the area.
Weve added the Port Stephens area to our 'to do' list.
Hope you enjoy the Hunter Valley and we look forward to the video.
Safe travels, Corrie & Lyn ❤
G’day Corrie and Lyn. What a great area, there’s so much to see and do! Definitely worth a visit 👍We travel past this region regularly and will be calling in again 😉
Cheers Paul and Wenda
Another great travel episode! I live in the northern reaches of Lake Macquarie which is around 45 minutes drive from Port Stephens. Mates and I regularly ride our motorbikes up that way, including the longer road trip to Tea Gardens and Hawkes Nest. There are two caravan parks at Hawkes Nest. Cheaper than Nelson Bay area, but not as convenient. Best wishes for the arm recovery Paul.
Thanks Ian 👍Yeah we want to go back and do the quad bikes. It is an awesome area, would be great on a motorbike
Cheers
Plastic cups so when you get drunk on water you cant glass someone else😊😊😊
😂
Gr8 video guys, it certainly is a gr8 spot. I’ve spent a lot of in Nelson Bay(scuba diving) & surrounds. It’s gods country. Cheers
Thanks Colin 👍yeah it’s a great spot. We’re definitely going to call in again
Cheers Paul and Wenda
Sorry to hear about your arm. a while ago you did a video about the San Hima roof rack that you installed. After the all this time are you still happy with it
Thank you it is healing quite nicely. So far we have been very happy with the roof rack. The only thing that has been of concern is the nuts at the front have rusted. We contacted Vic Off Road and they said there was nothing they could do about it. So we bought some rust cleaner and treated the nuts and they seem fine now. And these were the ones that are pre fitted not ones that were fitted during installation. But we still think it is a good product
Thank you for your honest and quick response
Paul aren't you of the old school?
Historically, men's hat etiquette has designated that all hats should be removed upon entering indoors, which includes houses of worship (unless customary otherwise, like at Jewish synagogues), public buildings, and private homes, especially at mealtimes. 😁
Haha not that old school but certainly would in an RSL services club or church 😉
Cheers
Do you guys ever do free camping 🏕??
Yes we do but not as much as we thought we would. We are planning to do a lot more this year. Our next video will be about free camping in the Hunter Valley
Cheers
