Great video. Led Zeppelin is my second favorite band. I’m so happy it’s still available. My parents met Robert Plant once.
That’s very cool! Now it just needs to be your goal to meet him too! There is always a way like after a show waiting for him to leave the theater where he is performing. I used to do that all the time to meet bands.

Brendon, had the wonderful opportunity to see Led Zeppelin four times in the 70’s 8/22/1971 The Forum,6/28/1972 Tucson Community Center, 5/23/73 Albuquerque NM, and forth and final time 3/5/75 Dallas Convention Center (audio on RUclips ) and all four times it was an experience I don’t have the words to describe but I do still have my ticket stubs the first one 50 years now so thank you for this video I didn’t know anything about this Led Zeppelin book so I’m getting off here and going to Amazon right now. Thx again.
Wow 4 times that sure is something! Pretty cool that you still have the ticket stubs after all this time. I too have kept all my concert stubs as well. I miss having them as it was always something nice to get signed if I had an opportunity to me the band. I had tickets to see Robert Plant but of course the show was postponed until 2021. Never seen Plant before...what’s another year to wait...lol
Brendon Snyder It will be worth the wait to see Robert Plant Brendon not only one of the most gifted musicians ever but quite the diplomat as well he really knew how to handle a Rowdy crowd without seeming like a pampered God rock star. You should check out the audio of my last show 3/5/75 in Dallas it was the last of three shows in a row one in Fort Worth and the last two in Dallas they were really on the money that night. Best 8 dollars and fifty cents Iv ever spent. Lol.
I’ll check it out. Wow those old concert prices!! It’s like when I first saw GNR in 1991 for $21 but on the reunion tour in 2017 it cost $350! Oh how times have changed.
Brendon Snyder Oh wow I remember when I could live on 350.00 a month and that included the house payment. Lol. That first Led Zeppelin Show in 71 was 4.75 +25 cents tax for a whopping total of five whole dollars, it really is hard to believe but I’m looking at my stub as we speak.

Hi Brendon, oh yes... a very cool box. But another aspect; i admire your T-Shirt... "Shoot out at the fantasy factory", it looks great. This album contains my absolute favorite song from Traffic "(Sometimes I Feel So) Uninspired". This song gets me so deep; countless times listen to it, Winwood's voice and guitar work... amazing. Ah you noticed! I always try to pick relaying shirts to wear during my videos but in this case I actually do not own a Led Zeppelin shirt so I thought Traffic being from the same era was a good call. And yes Winwood is amazon! I just saw him on your about a year ago and was lucky enough to be front row. Such a tight band that night!
@@BrendonSnyder Hmmm... that sounds good... can imagine, that it was a great concert. I got the DVD "The Last Great Traffic Jam", a gig from 1994, Steve Winwood and Jim Capaldi... great stuff.
Great book review, Brendon! All of the extras are certainly cool. Funny thing about those mocked-up Polaroid pics of the band. They're made to look like ones taken with a Polaroid One Step camera from the late 70s (with the inch of white space below the image) vs. a Polaroid camera from the late 60s when those band photos were likely taken. Anyway -- I'd definitely appreciate being entered into the give-away for that LZ boxed set. It'd be a great addition to my collection. THX!

Great video Brendon! Really appreciate seeing all of this stuff. I have mixed feelings about books like this (there are a few similarly produced volumes for other big bands).
Personally, I'd rather have had the rarities shown in the book with key details (original dimensions, background info, etc.) instead of loose facsimiles. The LZ "super deluxe" album reissues seem to get this right. They treat the artifacts as museum objects, with reverence. I'll pick this up regardless (Chris Welch is fantastic), but the design of this thing also seems really low end and kind of like a teen mag. Wish they'd have gone another way and kept if clean and elegant.

Sorry looks like an awesome book. The box set would definitely be the start of my stairway to heaven Led Zep CD Collection as I only have IV and IN through The Outdoor on lp.and the first two albums on cassette.

Well here we go again for another cd giveaway, made the drawing on 2 but no winning pick. Hope with this win I can win a Great Led Zeppelin box set. This would work great for the 2hr trips to and from Saturday trips to Cincinnati Reds games. This will for sure help me to convert my wife to a Zeppelin fan.

I need the Zep box set because I currently have zero hard copies of Zeppelin in my collection (I sold most of my collection years ago like a dummy). Also, I had no idea of this particular box set. I’m usually up on releases by my favorite bands. Thanks Brendon!
Hi Christopher! Everyone needs some Zeppelin in their collection. Even though the boxset is on Warner Brothers, I think it must be an import. I wasn’t aware of it either when I picked it up used at a local record store. I’ve since bought all the remaster 2 CD editions so I no longer need this one.
