Great box ..this was a big deal back in the day when there weren’t so many box sets about... loved and still love diving into it ... I see the foam base in the bottom of the your box has gone ... yes mine too .. The foam would disintegrate over time and I finally gave up on it and scraped it out about 10 or so years ago... Don’t forget there’s a second box that collected all the other tracks missing from this one but it’s only on cd as far as I know....you are blessed to have such good friends... treat then like family....

It’s complete and the vinyl is in excellent shape , but the box and the book has seen better days. So glad you got it. Sidenote : I’m STILL missing ”Celebration day” , Hahaha. They’re my favorite band. So obviously my favorite box set. It’s the one where I became infatuated with this band!! Love sequencing and Bonzo.’s mashup. Would love to have it on vinyl and cassette as well. Thanks for sharing
Very cool. I have the CD Box Set. The Box seems to have held up pretty well for it's. Reminds me of the Bruce Springteen Live album that came in a box 5 LP's. Somehow I ended up with 3 copies all given to me by friends and all in good shape.
31 years ago this was new. I remember seeing this set and owned the CD set. 31 years...where did the time go? Now I am depressed. Time to break out some Zep to cheer me up.
Was shopping at my local swap meet this morning. Amongst a few boxes of records I found the booklet for this box set, but nothing else could be found. Wonder if someone got lucky and snagged it before me

Yeah I pulled out my original, bought on release, boxed set last night while watching this video and the bottom foam in mine also disintegrated. I cleaned it out but there's some residue stuck to the base so I covered it with a paper towel to protect the inner sleeve sitting immediately on it. My set is German and is still in wonderful condition. The inner sleeves don't have any splits.
