Finally,,,,somebody who knows how to drill a hole in thin metal! I’m a retired tool & die maker and I’m amazed at how many people don’t know how to drill a hole in thin metal. Prick punch, center drill, pilot drill, whatever, to get past the wandering/moving dead center of a chisel point drill. I only have split point drills for this very reason!
Just subscribed to your channel. Do a lot of Dutch oven cooking myself and decided to try a few of your recipes. Love the idea of this portable oven table. Easy to throw in the storage bin of the camper and will be a permanent part of my camp gear. Thanks!
I plan to surprise my hubby with a kit with everything he needs to start cooking in a Dutch oven;, charcoal chimney, oven, etc. do you have a list of the basics and what you suggest? Or maybe a video on the pieces needed to get started? And what lump charcoal do you suggest? I see your Amazon store but not certain what to buy initially for him. Thank you.
The sheet metal looked and sounded like aluminum. Is it aluminum? And great idea for a simple build. Do you think a few more vents and ash holes, might work better? I have only, found 1 of those grills, that actually spun around. Most are rusted or welded in to place! ( I guess because people will steal anything that is not bolted down! 😩) Thanks for the video. Can't wait to see more!
I am still trying to get this computer to sending me notifications again . I think I have missed some of yours. Anyway, I have lokked and had no luck. I am oout in the country no la around. So no sheet metal shops. I am hoping you can help ne come up with at least 1 or maybe two pieces of that alumnium material for a Dutch Oven Table. Happy to pay shipping and give you something for your trouble or maybe purchase from the place saving for Christmas part. Any help here appreciated. Lee Gates Clinton, AR 72031
Why was there no guard on the grinder wheel? Safety glasses and gloves. While using power tool. I am disappointed you are teaching a project showing unsafe practices. U must lead by example. You need to do better before a viewer gets hurt replicating what’s going on in you video
That is the cleanest public grill Ever.

Keep showing how to make your own items. I means a lot more when you make it yourself.
Best way and only way to live our lives is cooking outdoors and eating off the wild!

Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Great tips thank you
Got to be aluminum to use a grinder and knock it down that quick. Stainless you would be there 10 times longer. Steel would rust.
Very cool

10 inch deep Lodge Dutch oven, any chimney starter (maybe the smaller one from Weber), Thats about it for getting started. Thanks for watching.;
Put some nuts and bolts together, for legs, and then you got a free standing Oven table! Just set it on the picnic table, patio, or ground.
Perfect size for an Etank anode too!
Outstanding Devil Dog! What's the demensions of the plate?
In the video description.
so how does this hold up? The melting point of aluminum is 1200 degrees. temp of a piece of bbq briquette can be anywhere between 800 and 1400...
Great Idea!!

Have you put the outdoor kitchen project on hold?
No, just have not had time to film the progress. Next Sunday will be an update in the video. Lots going on.
How is it then used?

Is that cast aluminum
Looks like plain old aluminum plate. Probably about 1/4" thick.
I was curious because I'm making a Dutch oven table

If you want to use those safety items, go ahead. I work with these every day and now how to use them safely. This is not PBS.
