Bought one recently, first day I walked 5 minutes from my home and got stopped and searched I'm in the uk. This thing is bright and even at 1000 its bright. Technology evolves. 1000 lumen now is = to 5000 lumen 5 years ago.
Pound for pound, from a guy that owns almost 50 pretty-high-end led flashlights, this is in hugely in competition for this.is.my.favorite flashlight, and that is saying a ton! For the size, it shoots a great distance - to the barn, rights through our barnyard and up on over the hill of our farm, about 170 yards, but has really USEABLE illumination from 10-150 no B.S. yards, and good spill as well. I mean bright as s$&! from the end of your hand and pretty much as far as you can see.
Just got mine today and I'm charging it up right now. It's feels fantastic and Excellent quality and I must say flashlight looks better when it's in your hands. On box it says 2100 max lumens and on video here says 2250 Lumens. Did they change battery to higher 5000amh? Did flashlight used to come less power battery? I checked battery it's 5000amh which should say on back of box 2250 Lumens not 21000. I got flashlight for distance and self defence when hiking in the highlands of Scotland plus camping too. I'm very impressed what I've seen and when fully charged I'll take it out and test it. Thanks for this great review and what you really think of this flashlight. Stay safe!
Not sure but my sample is 2250 lumens, batteries are updated so no big concern there. As for reference I show in the beginning you can compare yours to mine. Maybe yours is an old model? Thanks for watching!
@@MrRmacattack1 I think they have updated battery to the 5000mah 21700 battery and with this battery you get more lumens as I heard it used to come with 4000mah battery. The flashlight brightness is so bright and looks 2250 Lumens as I have the Olight seeker 2 Pro which is like having a Mini sun in your hands. I think it runs 2250 Lumens but not the earlier ones. Glad I got it!
Hey Charles, Thanku for the great vids! Need your solid opinion.. I’m looking for an AR15 rifle weapon light. Would you recommend the Warrior X Pro over the Klarus XT21X? I know the XT21X has 4000 lumens over the WarriorProX which has 2250, but then the WarriorProX has a much higher Candela at around 90,000 over the XT21X of 24,964 etc.. Thoughts? Or.. would you recommend an entirely different weapon light for an AR15 rifle over these two all together? Thanks much! Myles-!
The Warrior has better throw but the Klarus has more light output but less throw. I would get the Warrior because of its throwing performance for your rifle. Thanks for watching!
Very nice tactical flashlight! I have a question The max light output lumens of xhp35-hi led it's 1483 lm (data from cree.com) How it's possible to run 2250 lm on turbo?
All high power lights have drivers and special circuitry to boost the LED light outputs. Its a little brighter than specs. according to my lux meter testing. Thanks for watching!
It will get hot on the highest setting but cycle down to 600 lumens and stay warm. If you continuously cycle it back up to high it will get hot. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec build quality is still ok? I'm used to using Fenix and Wuben flashlights and they have phenomenal machining and quality 👌 I was a little nervous about this coming from China
Why did you skip the 1,000 lumen setting? That is the setting that most people will use as it only lasts two minutes on turbo? Trying to get a feel for the distance at 1000 lumens.
@@CharlesBridgTec clearly it's part of the flashlights ability, and clearly you omitted showing us that setting. Its the setting with the most run time and the most versatility and would be used the most. Maybe next time you could let it step down and show that as well. Thanks for the reply!
@@ryanlgroff I did show the specs which clearly states cycle times. Next time clearly watch my video closely for stuff like what you stated inconsistently about my review. As always stay tumed for more great reviews coming soon. Take care.
@@CharlesBridgTec your not understanding. As a consumer who wants to buy a flashlight, I want to see the range of the light throw. They or you can give all the specs they want, but seeing it is worth a thousand words. For my use, the flashlight will be used mostly at the 1000 lumen setting or step down. You did a fantastic job showing 300 lumens and 2250 lumens, but neglected to show real world video of the throw at the 1000 lumen setting. That what I was asking to see as that is where the flashlight will be used most and I have no idea what the throw is like at that setting. Thank you
Your welcome but 1000 lumens does great but my nights shots are not 7 minutes for one level of light. I showed the UI which is what is in the specs, for I have to move along not to make the video to long or boring. The light is top notch with very good range even after step down well until the battery get to 3.5v then its a lot less. I do a lot of behind the scene testing in my Facebook group on lights that I get so maybe you could join to see more details. Take care.
If this is modded in sbt90.2 around 5000 plus lumens that can reach more than 700 meters throw, which one will you choose between this Olight or the new Imalent MS06 with 25T lumens with 500m throw? Hope you can help me choose one irregardless of weight and size. I’m very puzzle to choose one. Thanks!!!
I don't know, the UI is kind of pointless. I get it it's all tactical, but the jump to turbo is just too great. Should've included one more 1000 lumen mode in the middle. Otherwise, great "Sci-fi" design.
I agree! While 1000lm is available it will be preceded by around 2min at 2250lm everytime you put it on at high mode. Unnecessary waste of energy which shortens the total runtime.
