i notice it has the same plate as the fiat grande punto you reviewed how would you compare the UP! to the grande punto I've bought a 1.2 grande punto how would you guy compare the cabin and the engines to the up?
(from James): Yes, it's the same plate. I owned the Punto and the Up during filming for the reviews. And the Mini Clubman too at one point! Anyway, The two are quite difference cars for the most part. The Punto is much larger and the cabin is a bit bulkier. The Up is a much smaller car, but weirdly the cabin space and boot space isn't a million miles from the Punto's. I actually find there's more space for the driver in the Up as there's less 'stuff' in between the driver and passenger seats, making the whole thing feel bigger inside. The Up is a 1.0 74bhp, so compared to the 1.2 65bhp Punto it'll feel faster, but also lighter in the corner and at pulling away, due to the Up being much smaller and lighter. The Up also feels more like a go-kart to drive. It's a lot of fun, just could do with a bit more power.
