Agree on Garage Therapy’s Tar & Glue remover - a brilliant product. I ran out of mine mid clean a while back so had to go local (Autobrite Direct) to try theirs out. Interestingly, they smelt exactly the same, just as effective but a Green liquid v GT’s Yellow. Garage Therapy’s is much better value but they’re definitely the same product. Interesting use of Gyeon Bathe +. I’ve used Auto G’s Polar Seal up to now for quick winter protection and a drying aid but fancy trying something different so may well give this a go. Gyeon’s Ceramic QD is well worth trying too, could make a great combo with Bathe +. Top video again Heather 👍🏾
I think the best way to wash and valet your car is use good reliable products and take your time & Dont rush it Great info and video Heather thanks for the work you put in you present your videos excellently. 👌👌
Excellent work as always! I just did my A4 yesterday and finished it with Hydro2lite and Elixer as I knew it was going to snow today😅. 18 yesterday, 0 today, gotta love Western Canada..
I really love every video you are making. It is so grounded and so relaxing. But most of all with a great quality and lots of very good and useful information on gear and products. So Heather please keep up what you are doing it is amazing at least to me. Thank you 👍😜❤
Great video, ideal tips, what products are best to use.😊 awesome. Keep these going , I just love detailing cars special my own . After washing, I give 3 coats of wax & wax spray which keeps the shiny for months even during wet weather.
I’m wondering if there’s something wrong with me as a just love watching cars being detailed, it must have been the crack to my head when I was 4 years old 😊
I just discovered your channel and am enjoying your content, so now I'm a subscriber (California, US). I just discovered that rag several weeks ago and have been loving them, so I've purchased 10 so far. I'm not a professional, just a regular person that finds detailing my vehicles to be very therapeutic.
Another great job Heather, I used the carpro Decon on my daughters white Audi, I was way to conservative with the amount I put in. Wish this video was out two weeks ago! Can’t wait for the tree sap removing video!
I've needed and Glue and Tar remover and only tried one. It wasn't very good so i got put off having to go through the whole "try sixteen different sorts to find out none of them are much better" when its not the sort of thing I'd use on every car. buying one for me, lasts ages. Wasn't into Garage Therapy before your channel, there were just other brands I happened to try and ended up sticking with, BH being one of them. Your recommended one from them as a tyre dressing has worked wonders. That's now a staple in my arsenal i don't feel the need to be changing. Looks like i need to get them to wing a bottle of that Gin & Tonic remover over for a very empty space on my shelf.
I love garage therapy I use a lot of their products but never used the tar and glue as I alway go to tardis as I can get it in 25 litres, might have to give it a try and see how it performs compared to tardis
A satisfying spruce up clean for your customer, Heather. The Gyeon bathe+ application looks amazing for the results it gave; what’s its expected longevity supposed to be?
Another great video, I'm always surprised at how well a pro can make the paint pop. How old was the car and how long would this detail usually take if you weren't filming?
Thanks! I did use a glass cleaner here after Bathe+ as sometimes spray and rinse sealants can leave streaks on the glass if there's no protection on there already
Hi Heather! Have you ever washed a car with Gyeon Bathe+? I really love most Gyeon products, but this shampoo barely has any suds and can leave stains quickly if not rinsed quick enough. I usually use Bathe, with imo is amazing. Smells great and very sudsy
I've not tried it in the bucket, to be honest I'm not a huge fan of using ceramic shampoos, they just feel a bit of a strange experience to me! I was really glad I could put this in the lance instead and it worked even better than I thought it would
After one of my previous comments re Ceramic Shampoos being used as a second "shampoo" to add protection you took it a step further and quicker by putting it through the lance. Genius in my opinion but why wouldn't we when we now put shampoo on by lance for the wash process. The water behaviour looked as good as Wet Coat and if it was topped with Gyeon Ceramic QD I bet it would look amazing and be well protected for winter. In your opinion what is better CarPro or Undress for tyres.
Thanks for watching John! I was really impressed by the level of protection Bathe+ left behind. That's a tough one, both are very strong but I'd probs give the edge to CarPro ReTyre as I like the foaming trigger and it's a bit cheaper as the 1litre bottle is good value
Can I ask for some advice please? Is it better to use the IK pressure sprayer for a pre wash and the IK foam sprayer for wheel shampoo/cleaner? What would you recommend?
Yep that's what I do. I've got this video btw on the second channel where I go in a bit more detail on this ruclips.net/video/Oa10kTWxoHY/видео.htmlsi=oxpvxvhnqrZnbF6y
Hello Caretakers. Is this a reflection of a wallbox-charging port for EVs? Nice. The customers maybe can top up a little bit if they came from far away for a good clean. ;-)
great job, love these videos, where the car is transformed by the end of the video. This Skoda is he same Grey colour as my Audi A3, the paint is Dolphin Grey code LX7Z:
Can I ask why you wouldn’t use wet coat for the sealant? It does leave a slick finish and is spray on rinse off. Fascinated that you went with bathe plus in the lancer - I’m going to try that next time but usually swear by wet coat.
It's just a bit quicker to cover the whole vehicle and cheaper to apply it in a lance compared to using Wet Coat, the performance is very similar though
@@AutoCareHQ Ok that’s great to know as yes a lance application would be quicker and I don’t find that wet coat gives wiper judder so don’t mind trying bathe plus in this way. I don’t like it as a shampoo as it makes the wash too slow as you have to really do panel by panel as it dries too quickly - and no suds. So this would be a good use for it.
Heather this is my 2nd time seeing a SKODA. The first time I saw it was Paul Dolden cleaning his. How come the USA didn’t get them? Who makes them? Is it Peugeot?
Hi Heather, what is your strongest acid/alkaline wheel cleaner? My girlfriend's mother's car wheels are too dirty for surfex hd and auto-wheels so I need something that will really bite into the dirt. Cheers.
Alkaline I'd say Infinity Wax Incinerate, it's really strong stuff. I've also tried KKD Devil's Juice but it's not the nicest to use so I have to wear a mask etc.
Excellent work again, then again you never present anything less than that. Don't know why people pay thousands of pounds on a car, then replace tyres with some cheap brand, it's the main thing that keeps your car on the road.
When I’m rinsing off Pre Wash/Snow Foam, 95% of the paintwork has no visible dirt, but the bottom of the doors and side skirts always have specs of dirt even after rinsing. Does anyone have this issue?
Hey, they're called Rimmats. I've got a quick vid on them on the second channel which will probably explain it better than I can on here ruclips.net/video/Yco3yQodJIU/видео.htmlsi=zZI3BeQ0yl8TdPGT
Yep I always do the roof. Only difference is if it's panoramic then I'll coat the glass in something different like Soft99 Glaco Ultra rather than a ceramic coating designed for paint
@@AutoCareHQ Thank you. Also, if it comes to end of cleaning a car and it starts to rain, meaning you can’t dry the car, what would you apply? A rinse aid?
If there's nothing on the paint then a spray and rinse like Gyeon Wetcoat is a good option. Even if it's raining it's still a good idea to try and towel dry the panels off a bit (unless it's really heavy rain) just to avoid water spots from the rinsing
When you buy a pressure washer to wash your car do you have to buy a lower pressure nozzle? Because I've seen people clean concrete with pressure washers as well
Haha it's so much easier for filming using the two-bucket method. On my car I use the foam cannon but it's hard when filming as I'm moving the camera around so much the foam drips off too quickly!
You'll find more info on the products on their website. Auto Culture UK for example state they use biodegradable surfactants in their shampoo, snow foam, wheel cleaner
Literally like therapy watching and listening to Heather clean a car.. impressed with that Bathe+, looks ideal for this type of year regular cleaning.
Cheers Mark, yeah definitely a good one to have going into winter
by far the most gifted and beautiful woman in the automotive cosmetics industry!
Absolutely the best female detailer I've ever seen! Really like your style. Keep on going!
Wow I have to say I'm impressed by the Bathe+ hydrophobics, actually pretty good for this type of quick application
Yeah it really impressed me too!
Agree
Superb Heather - very therapeutic!
9:49 Wow! I'm impressed with Gyeon Bathe+! The car instantly turned hydrophobic!
thanks for sharing heather love your car detail video you work so hard

A very clean Skoda. Winter is certainly coming........ 🥶 Awesome video as always

Lovely job on the Octavia Heather, the Garage Therapy tar remover could be my next purchase when I'm out of Tardis 👍
Thanks Mark!

A satisfying spruce up clean for your customer, Heather. The Gyeon bathe+ application looks amazing for the results it gave; what’s its expected longevity supposed to be?
