I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

You also overlooked one of its major benefits when breeding; its the ONLY wyvern u can raise with meat, so even solo players can easily obtain many disposable offsprings with minimal effort in terms of raising them, even more so now with the new Maewing

I really have a love-hate relationship with taming mechanics of new creatures in Gen2). I like these aren't just simple Tranq/passive (except maewing) and have some twists to them. But damn some of these are hard to do).

Yeah the Stryder as example. It can harvest a large area all at once and automatically transfer the resources to an linked dedicated storage from all ofer the map.
BUT to get a 150 Stryder you need to complete ALL FUCKING MISSIONS.....

The electrical attack sucks at doing dps compared to other wyverns- but the stun is nice
but since extinction wyverns werent great DPS anyway, managarmrs complete stole that role

A warning to people taming void wyvern. While you can use tames to damage it you must damage it while off of your mount or the game will not let you ride the wyvern. I was using a Astrodelphis when taming mine and was confused that I couldn't ride it. Luckily at one point I just punched it in frustration and that fixed the problem so be mindful
You actually need to get the voidwyrm below 10% health, not 1000 health. Also, Mutagel can also be gathered from the black pearl space biome, and from the acid pool below Rockwell’s heart.

@Raasclark you also overlooked mentioning that the voidwyrms breath attack is the only one that continues for as long as the breath button is held and the voidwyrm has stamina, compared to other wyverns whose breaths are timed for 3.3 seconds each.
...Also the people being adult sized children complaining about it being useless for PVE merely because the breath attack does less damage to health than a dodo attack makes me laugh. Its breath attack isn't meant for killing, its breath attack causes far more torpidity at a rapid rate than damage, which makes a voidwyrm extremely useful for taming by vanilla standards. People really need to learn to start thinking outside their little box.
So, he is effective for PVP, but not PVE. I'll get one for my collection, but it'll probably just be decor for the base.

I wish the voidwyrm had an element breath beam attack that does more than a lightning wyvern. Right now it’s break looks like it’s scanning a bar code
If you are going to tame a Noglin using Voidwyrms then *it's VERY IMPORTANT to fill their entire inventory* , because if you won't do so it will start flying around and laser you to death
Only issue is their wing flapping is really loud.

Voidwyrms and other Tek creatures are very weird and interesting. Like, what are they? They only give u mechanical things when killed, but they must have a biological brain since they can be possessed by Noglins. They also have a functioning reproductive system. They’re not technically a life form, since they’re missing only one characteristic of life: being made of cells. I guess future space people (I’m not caught up on ark lore) really mastered the art of making artificial life.
In the lore element is alive and they don't drop metal bcs it would be op
The element used to made tek creatures is described as living and as a material, I'd say that the tek creatures are more similar to corrupted creatures lore wise, but more refined and stabilized because corrupted are victims of raw elements rather than refined.
It’s just SO LOUD when you fly with it. I have a few but never use them because their wing flap volume is dramatically too high 😐
Finally got to check out gen 2 last night and I got myself a reaper thanks to you lol.

Bro the ice wyverns are still f**king invis why haven't they fixed that yet my bloodstalker was taken down 75% hp and since my bloodstalkers damage is at 500K damage I was instantly killed my friend had to cryopod it and I had to respawn plus it ate my stuff the wyvern did
I tamed a lvl 160 female 2 days ago and when I was searching for a male , I found a lvl 190 female , after being tamed , it was 277 , I lost some lvls but DUDE HIS STATS R SO GOOD

@@maxk.3803 basically, its good for pvp (structure damage/player dismount) but trash for pve. it breath attacks like the lightning's but hits for 0-1 damage instead of 200-300 damage
I think there must be one bug with voidwyrm as you firstly hit it until you can ride them to tame, you'll see the tame efficiency is going up from perhaps 50% to 100% before you successfully tame it(You can also see this phenomenon in this video when Raasclark ride on the wyrm to tame it).
In my opinion, the tame efficiency should start from 100% when you first time ride on it to tame, and then everytime you feed the vyrm with mutagen as it rolls, it will decrease tame efficiency.
On the other hand, your server might change the tame speed too fast so that the time period from you ride on the wyrm to finally tame it is shorter than the time for tame efficiency reaches to 100%.

You can also get Mutagel on the Black Pearl biome. Just collect pearls and sometimes you’ll find Mutagel.
I have three of these bad boys, not my favourite tame, but they're definitely up there in my top five.

It's breathe can be VERY powerful if you level up melee A LOT but it can one shit the only problem with the voidwyrm is taking it to space will kill it since the other wild ones will kill it so much easier than it kill them for some reason (even max level

Blood wyverns can't even take down an alpha rex, also no saddles. Even my lv445 zombie lightning wyverns has become useless after the crystal isles Wyvern Nerf. they're pretty useless and the voidwyrm is a waste of time in PvE.
You can also dismount enemies off there tames. With the breath attack

I don't know if it's a bug or not but the whistle distance on these is insane. I was far away from my base whistled for my dino to follow and 5 mins later wyvern showed up.
Raas Don't worry I'm already mutating Voidwyrms for mutations The Tek Wyvern I am using now is called TekViper and I used him to tame a lot of creatures he is level 398 Right now Im close to 400 It took a lot of time But it is so worth it
Also I found a 190 Tek Wyvern put my taming speed down and fed him till 100% Taming Effectiveness then put it back to normally what I have set and it became level 285 spent 12 hours of straight non stop work about 400 Mutagen into him basically when you feed the parent while there breeding the baby gets those 20 levels but if you do it again it gets anther 20 levels then another 10 after that and then the levels you gain from killing creatures is 88 on my single player world so it is OP now I think it will almost reach the max tamed creature level probably like 420 is the max level for creatures 450 with normal server settings max being 150
the wyvern that makes all other wyverns obsolete, but for sure is by far the most expensive and trickiest tame to acquire, especially if you get hit with server lag, but is worth its weight in the gold, but i wouldnt want to tame one of these unless it was a x2 especially how hard/super grindy it is to get mutagel/mutagen
It doesn't make them obselete. It does the worst damage out of all of them and in pve or singleplayer is completely useless.
The problems with the Voidwyrm:
It's breath sucks for anything other than clearing up structures.
It's way harder to tame, and is overall a much bigger investment than regular and crystal wyverns.
There's nothing new about it, since overall it's just another wyvern reskin and thus took up development time that could have gone to a completely new creature instead.
It is useless in PVE, unless you need a wyvern on a gen2 only server with no cluster. You're essentially trading a lot of time and the entire breath attack for a few stats. In PVP it's too much of an investment for too little gain for anyone but megatribes.
It's breath does pitiful damage, the fact that it can dismount a rider is what's important. The breath however does increased damage to electrical structures, making it a good siege weapon. beyond that it's the same as all wyverns. I've tamed a few, and they're cool. But really kind of disappointing.
Not a siege weapon as much as just a clean up creature like the arthro. it doesn't have the hp to tank turrets and you can easily get sniped off it.

Love all the new stuff on Gen2 but it’s a shame I got tired of playing this game just before Crystal isles released. I jump on and try and play but I get bored after half an hour. Would love to come back but just don’t have the patience anymore. Anyone else feel the same?
I think when they said it isnt a wyvern they were talking about story? Maybe in the lore it's a completely different "species" and yeah tek creatures can be classified as species, I'm pretty sure the enforcer has a scientific name like the other dinos

Depends on the server and your needs. if you plan going very heavy into mutations i wouldnt do voids, Id rather spend my efforts trying to make very beefy lightning wyverns. in pvp voids are decent, but lightnings are better due to pure dps and tropicals are more obtainable and mobile. the main draw of voids in combat is the breath's dismount, but all wyverns have a pick and can do it, though not as easily. in pve voids are just weight wyverns, due to being so high level obtaining individuals with 50+ points in a stats is easy, so high stam and weight are very obtainable, in pvp the void is probably the best areal combatant in the game, but can simply be avoided. Overall the dps of a void is just too poor for me to justify using one over a lightning, if you can find lightnings with 40+ points in each relevant stat it will outclass a void in most situations in pve, in pvp it depends on rates, wipes, ect.
On PVE they're litterally the most useless thing ever. Noone's gonna spend hours grinding mutagel and then days to find and then mess up the tame somehow just for a weight wyvern. And just generally the higher stats aren't worth essentially losing your breath (cause it's useless in pve).
The biggest shame is that it's just another wyvern re-skin and potentially took up development time that could've been used for a completely new creature.
I tamed one just by skiffin it, it took 2 minutes to tame

Wyrm is pronounced Worm as far as I thought. That tek wyrm hit my skiff for a 8500 damage first strike by surprise..My skiff blew up straight away. So might want to do some tests against vehicles. I panic now as i fly through that area on the skiff
Gen2 is ultra unfriendly towards skiffs. After giving me random area not clear errors and an extensive base rearrangement exercise, I had to build it via gcm (and I had to fly around randomly after having it fail for the same reasons a few more times). And then after having it park itself in the terrain for the second time, I decided to just leave it alone for the moment.

Since you can breed Wyverns now and there's a hard cap on Wild levels(which includes the tame bonus and mutations) of 255 in a stat, eventually a determined enough breeder could mutate up a line of Wyverns or Crystal Wyverns at the same levels as the best Voidwyrms. At that point unless there's a difference in their base stats or how many tamed levels they're allowed the best Wyvern would be whichever has the best breath attack.
While the Voidwyrm's is certainly good for PvP I've not sure it'll outdo some of the others if placed in a playing field where all their levels are equal.
Of course with a PvP focus it'll probably see the most use on servers where it's harder to build up such a significant number of mutations on regular or Crystal Wyverns anyways...
I had an idea for the voidwyrm give it the jet flight ability slightly slower than the dolphin and the enforcers teleport ability melee can be slightly nerfed but keep the dismount breath perfect balanced dolphin counter

I think it looks pretty cool. The taming is fun and it can be very useful in pvp but it's certainly getting nerfed because being able to dismount mek riders is just insane and the structure damaging from the lightning is just crazy especially if you have multiple. Also lightning wyverns should be immune to the void wyvern's breath so that it can have some type of counter in the air because any other flyer will just be dismounted easily
I used in PvP already and the rew fights I had were absolutely disguisting for my opponent. He tried picking me and payed the price instantly. And I'm not even that skilled at 1v1 fights in PvP. It was one of those circlejerk into the sky kind of situations where we try to pick eachother but instead I just have to hit him with my breath lol.
@@slenderman478 exactly, it's bound to get hit with a train of nerfs soon just like the noglin. Being able to instantly eat a wild giga... That alone is op especially if you don't want a tribe taming a high lvl giga you can walk up and eat it with a noglin before they can tame it. Also they should allow the noglin to be shot with some guns while it's controlling something or someone ATLEAST it's such a big target on someone's head but instead you need to kill the person first and once they die the noglin jumps to another person i have already seen alot of pvp clips showing noglin destroying people in enemy base...

It’s called breeding u bob! Top stat blood wyverns have on ps4 over 11k health 1300 stam and nearly 600 melee pop, so u can easily get 20k health 3k stam and like 700 melee. Also they will be 2x as fast, better at turning and win every pik fight between the 2. Also imprint.
My dinos have 10K hp most of the time 20k for those being used for boss fights
And 40K in stam and about 800 speed to dodge but it's a bit hard to dodge because if how fast my tames are

If your on of allow flyer speed leveling with stats at 35 for everything and 30.0 at speed and then youll have a fast wyvern and also it's not all wyverns that are like the Tek wyvern

I have tried to get one but my sniper broke and I died as well. I then died inside because this was just after a failed reaper tame. I then tried to tame an astrodelphis and failed wasting a lot of element. But that’s just ark

I don’t like it’s breath attack. Lighting is good damage and kinda stuns, fire is fire, and poison can blast. But the voidwyrm breath just stuns and doesn’t do as much damage as other breaths. The fact that it can dismount players doesn’t matter for me as I played mostly. PvE

Are Voidwyrms immune to another's breath attack? Normally wyverns should be immune to their own element, I've been trying to find out but couldn't find another Voidwyrm to confirm. These things are super rare to find.
The breath does awful damage though

Il probably just call it void/tek wyvern. Its basically a tek wyvern. Though the breath is pretty unique. This is probably my favourite variant so far though. (Though im also a big fan of the dodowyvern)

I’m not gonna say you’re completely wrong but the void wyrm isn’t really that good the only big bonus over regular wyverns is what their breath can dismount and can break structures I mean that’s cool and all but it doesn’t honestly seem worth the tame it’s breath attack while good against structures and aoe is too low damaging and can be out dpsd by all of the wyverns except poison sure it’s got more health but I’ve had eggs on official even though they were lower level they had better stats, my other big gripe with it is that it’s not nearly as strong as any of the crystal wyvs mainly tropical and blood crystal and both of which are faster then the void it seems the void wyrm is just in a niche that’s for structure damage on pvp and it can fly which is cool don’t get me wrong but there are better options hell a magmasaur and arthropluera can also damage all structures it seems like a waste of a tame unless they give it a buff or something Bc knocking players off tames just isn’t very worth it when there are better things at dismounting or dealing with air combat
It's already broken in PvP, the fact that you can dismount anyone and cnidaria anyone from the safety of your tame is insane in PvP dogfights. You're best off on a Crystal wyvern which can outpace it.

This guy is definitely a tek wyvern after all a wyrm is a dragon that has no limbs but can still fly or atleast no wings.
A wyrm is a serpent like limitless draconian, a drake is a wingless draconian with 4 or limbs, a lindwurm is a draconian with 2 arms and no wings, an amphitere is a lindwurm but with wings in place of arms, a wyvern has 2 legs and any number of wings but no arms, a dragon has a minimum of 6 limbs 2 arms, 2 legs, and 2 wings but can have any number more of these.
I was honestly hoping the voidwyrm to be an amphitere but its still a cool creature.

And also thats just the definition of a wing, all it is (in the case of ark wyverns and bats in reality) all a wing is is an arm the has immensely stretched bones in the fingers and a shorter thumb with a hooked claw. Then the skin is also grown out between them to form this leathery membrane that can catch air. I'm agreeing with you by the way please don't take this wrong way.

This is still the worst wyvern it will have higher stats but the crapy breath atack makes it worthless what is the point of more health and melee if the ranged atack is worthless may as well just use a rex for melee damage and more health this thing is harder/more expensive to tame a regular wyvern and crystal wyverns are super easy why to get a creature that is worse in the main thing of the creature and its harder to tame
Also soon as i had the mutagen to tame one i started taming a lvl 185 and came out as 412 not sure how that happened

more levels but weaker attack id bet. currently the hardest hitting wyvern is lightning still. base damage of 775 a blast if all ticks hit. i soloed desert titan on a 1 cloned wyvern and didnt take long. also have killed a ton of titanos before i got gigas.
but thats blast damage. voidwyrm might have way higher othet stats at them high levels. like biting and health stam stuff like that.
o and i dont pvp but that sounds broken af pvp 🤣 destroy a base with a blast. wonder if they can damage your own stuff

Were these guys glitched/ still are? I’ve tamed a couple now (max level on my server is 180) and both the ones I tamed ended up taming at level 498 and 502
I have one, but the damage numbers it's showing me is 0, or ones when I was fighting a megatherium
