This is a duet, so both players have to play absolutely metronomically. Additionally, they have to listen to each other very closely to ensure that they remain in sync and that neither voice overpowers the other. I'm a pianist and have played both chamber music and in my school's band, so I have experienced firsthand that the different nuances of each. But anyway, that doesn't really matter to me. I made this comment two years ago. After watching this video again, it is pretty obvious that there is no 'battle' going here. The whole thing was clearly pre-planned and pre-rehearsed. An overly clickbaity piano trio is what I'd call this video.
Three of the world's *most talented* right here. They're still going strong, independently and together....and then Rob Landes, Harry Mack and many more become entwined and it's beauty and professionalism all the way.
