Can we just go ahead and extend Keon Coleman right now? I want this guy to have a long career with Josh Allen. Guy is a BEAST!!! All of the people who called him bad (and let’s face it he will have a quiet night one day and they’ll be right back at calling him bad again) can go ahead and shove it. Same thing with the people badmouthing Sean McDermott. Guys defenses are elite, and he coaches guys up big time, and adjusts to fix weaknesses. Hell, Tom Brady was complimenting him big time, and kept going on about how great and tough his defenses are to play against scheme wise. This defense is good, good enough to stop anyone in the league when healthy. Unlike last year, I feel comfortable when the defense is on the field, so much so that I just laughed off Allen’s only interception this year… and boy did they deliver. Lock down defense plus a lethal offense where a different group of guys have a big game every week equals one hell of a team… could even be better than the team that lost to KC in overtime a couple years back. Give us a home field advantage and a couple late bye weeks this year and I am pumped to see what this team can do!! I think it’s between the Bills, KC, Baltimore, Detroit, and Green Bay this year, let’s go get it done!!!
Summary for those of us who can't read: Coleman=good, Kansas City=vulnerable, haters=bad, and Tom Brady commending McDermott for being an elite defensive coach=respect.
@@justinbell5421 My god, it ASTOUNDS me how thick some people are... McDermott has given this team a top tier defense every year that I can remember as head coach. He hasn't done it with superstars, he's done it with regular guys who have become superstars under him. He coached up a bunch of no name backups last year when the entire defense was injured, enough to keep the team in games and make plays. The defense has been mostly healthy so far this season, and as a result, the have let up an average of just 18 points per game, and just six ppg in the second half. That number is astounding! Yeah, 13 seconds happened, but one tiny decision in one game several years ago does not outweigh dozens of games and several good teams that McDermott has run. Don't take my word for it, listen to the GOAT Tom Brady, who compliments McDermott every chance he gets about how tough his defenses were to play against. He's an awesome guy who deserves all of the respect in the world for what he has done for this team, making the Bills from a joke to a repeat contender.
Buffalo got Cooper to fill a hole, not to be the whole. We're able to use him in ways now where he draws much more attention on field than MVS or Hollins running would have. Every defense will play us differently. Having Cooper on the field means more than any amount of targets
I think most people didn't want the Bills to trade with the Chiefs, that is what upset people. Personally I wanted the Bills to trade up to get Thomas. Back up plan was A. Mitchell and Worthy. People that wanted Worthy seen allot of T. Hill in him in college. And if you remember T. Hill didn't have a good rookie year, but his second season was wow. And since we do have a strong armed QB, who doesn't want to see him take the top off a defense?
This was an excellent Joe Brady game. I liked the sets Buffalo came out in, the play designs were very good, the constant pre-snap motion. The only thing I wanna see more of from him is corner routes, specifically to the tight ends
I'm the happiest person in the world for 6 days when the Bills win but these pre snap penalties are killing me and I really hope we still don't lead the league in 15 yard penalties. Other than that great win in a tough stadium in tough weather. Keep up the great work, we appreciate it.
I agree, it was painful, although I expect the abnormally high offensive penalties were partially due to the tough conditions of Lumen field. Defensive ones are concerning too, but Sean McDermott is pretty good at coaching those sorts of mistakes out of players, so I think it can be worked on.
They definitely need to clean the penalties up but that Ref leads the league in calling O-Line penalties so I'll take some of those calls as having a Ref with an itchy trigger finger
The most impressive thing about Coleman so far to me is his down field blocking. His effort has been excellent. Off topic, there was 33 flags thrown in that game. Incase anyone thinks there might be a problem there
Cool to hear you advertising local buffalo business. I like that. Glad pearl St had you do a read. That place rules, but they could use some new pool tables upstairs haha

Agreed with the pre-snap penalties. That’s something you can work on, but you can’t always fire up your players. This game was eerily similar to the Syracuse and Pitt game recently where Pitt was the more aggressive defensive team by far.
Bills have been showing they are playing much more physical than I have seen since I became a fan in 1962 … I don’t ever recall the D… having goal line stands …… I loved they signed Rapp for that …others like Williams, Andreesen… Milano …Spector also play physically … team has followed their lead …. That supports being confident …which is an out of Mcdermott’s character….. but that’s a great thing ….
Knox falling down on that wide open catch was a thing of beauty and a show of proper catching technique …I thought it was so professional …. Normally that’s the type of balls he would drop …. But he used the 3 point catch technique …his body plus 2 hands … in the past players would reach only with 2 hands to try and set up YAC, many times resulting in drops …. Can’t Yac without a ball … ball is #1… great development on His part …
I’m furiously knocking on wood but this year seems a little different in that the “other guys” are really stepping up and are playing like they have something to prove-you need guys playing like that to make deep runs
31 points without leaning on Cooper. That's a good thing. I wonder how much Cooper has already helped Coleman with little bits of advice on route running? Like Von helping progress Greg and AJ.
I think our WR group is the last of our worries. Our offence can do what it needs to, our defence needs to stay healthy and we have a chance to win the super bowl. Glad to see a rookie stunt on woolen and lil bro him. 17-0 is an unbeatable combo
@@irshkashirklecorrection to the correction: this TEAM is the least of our worries… seriously, we didn’t have three of our best defensive players and missed a starting WR and we looked like a perfect team, allowing just one score per HALF! Joe … you mentioned the physicality the bills show throughout the team … Thats football …. That’s the nature of the game …and how it supposed to be played ……. Never expected anything less from any position….what you’re saying is …they are playing as a team… results from the every one eats concept …. Which was meant not just for WR’s ….
The missed tackles have diminished tremendously !!!! Hyde Poyer white all had many many missed tackles … Rapp has been the catalyst of an attacking rather than passive tackling technique …
Josh is trying to punch the ball out of the defender’s hand after the INT, Keon over there manhandling his cover guy on the sideline. It was great to see. See if we can out physical the Ravens and Chiefs though.
I felt the same way about D. Will. At one point in the game I said heck this guy needs to be questioned under the gambling policy they have in place 😂. Probably his bad knee making him create questionable defensive decision.
Bills actually ran a true Draw play….Great to see !!!…. They are utilizing the Quicky to WR’s….now they need to implement a real RB screen pass …. When that happens …. The O will have complete playbook …. So far, I like the imagination Brady has been calling … need to continue to run new plays, More ingenuity …don’t stagnate …
Does the emergence of Ray Davis have anything to do with James Cook’s effort? Or Beane signing a Kicker to the practice squad and suddenly Bass hasn’t missed? Beane knows how to take advantage of the expanded practice squad
@@xfanatick7972 I think he will come back just as good, the broken leg is more of a time thing and he has plenty of time to recover from that now.
