Towing capability has nothing to do with recovery. Towing has many more factors such as your drivetrain’s ability to pull the load. The gears in your transmission, transfer case, differential, etc have to be rated to pull the weight. The chassis recovery points are built to withstand the rated weight/force.

Right never pull more then the tow hitch/bar rating.
