I usually agree with Campea but with the cross over stuff I don't. It's not only that it's fan service, it's the fact that if things are happening in the same time period, then characters should naturally be popping back and forth for things to have tie ins and make sense. I do agree that they should be natural and not forced.
I just want to thank the council for doing this show. This is the highlight of my week and I always look forward to listening to y'll talk about the universe and story that holds close to my heart. Keep it up y'll and again thanks for giving me an escape from the craziness of this world. :)
I just LOVED the "Address the Council" segment by MrSundayMovies, great analysis and funny as hell! It'd be AWESOME to have him back again... perhaps on a semi-regular basis? Either way, it was awesome!
Always look forward to my Thursday evenings where I pop open a Sam Adams, tell the family that Jedi Council is on, and enjoy my weekly Geekgasm. Another great show, gentlemen!
Haha that email from DS2 to mon mothma, awesome to see Mr. Sunday movies on the show and another great episode guys! So much news coming out with celebration and comic con right around the corner and I can't wait to see what they reveal.
That awkward moment when Campea isn't the most useful John on the panel and Mr Rocha kicks his arse up and down the street with his insight. Rocha class as usual, well done sir.
I'd take Tiffany 10 times out of 10 against Schnepp. He doesn't know anything about Star Wars aside from basic movie stuff, and occasionally mocks the others when they talk about EU stuff.
+schneppzone yes I would LOVE to smoke a fat blunt and pic his sweaty brain about movies he seems like a cool European hey by THE way do you plan on making a movie movie NEXT!?
Nice to see Schnepp and Rocha on here but it felt like Harloff just shouted across the office 'hey we need a last minute substitute for Jedi council, anyone wanna be on?'
Kudos to Campea for mentioning West End Games' Lords of the Expanse. Such a great boxed set. Would really make for a cool TV show, though maybe not as cool as KOTOR. Oh and Mr Sunday is awesome. :) Great show, thanks!
I hope to see you in the council again! Harloff could use someone to bounce those comic reviews off! A Sweaty needs to be on this show atleast bi weekly!
Love all 6 seasons of Clone Wars. Hard to understand people's problem with them. I loved Anakin in this, it made going back and watching Revenge of the Sith all the more harder. The acting by the cartoon character was so much better than in Episode II and a little in III
I think the Rogue One trailer is going to be three minutes of imperial officers telling Vader what the rebels have done and him replying with "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
You can always trust Rocha with hosting and being a great panelist.just preordered Life Debt cant wait to read it. i found some enjoyment in Aftermath but it was kinda gruleing to read I love Mr. Sunday movies weekly planet podcast hes great.love whenever kristian colabs with him.
In the old Legends novels, there's an ability that lets someone project themselves in the past and future. However, they can only affect people's memory of the past.
agreed lol, as of right now star wars isnt even on the sdcc schedule. If they choose not to go, I totally understand they have Star Wars celebration where they will drop all the amazingness. But I'm sure John will complain if Star Wars does nothing for sdcc. Not everyone can go to sdcc or celebration but at least celebration will be live streaming there panels on youtube.
As technology I agree no time travel but in Legends there is a Force technique you can learn called Flow Walk which allows you to time travel although you can't change anything really even if you try the Force will "correct" it. This is how Jacen was able to learn so much about his father Anakin. Would love to see Ben do something similar
Schnepp your the best i agree with you like 98% of the time in all the things your in. Good to have ya on the council. I think Luke may be sporting a goatee and is fooling us. I think Ashoka will be in live action or will be mentioned in a live action movie in some fashion i just think she's become such a fan favorite that i don't see how she's not mentioned/ reference at least. Great council meeting.
hey there thanks for whatever ya'll did to equal out the sound on collider videos...dunno what you did but its better, the intro and outro's aren't blaringly loud while the actual content is quiet anymore :)
Boba Fett makes the most sense for a solo movie since it's a popular character that you still don't know a ton about. Although I love the idea of an Obi-Wan movie and some of these other ideas, those are characters we already know quite a bit about. I would love to see a story about how Boba Fett became the best bounty hunter ever.
There's only one Time Travel story I've read in the Star Wars universe. And it was a forward travel, there was no traveling backwards. A cruiser from the time of Naga Sadow got caught in an unstable hyperspace tunnel that propelled them into the current day of Legends, where a Jedi that was on board of the Sith cruiser enlists the help of Jaden Korr from the Jedi Outcast game, to defeat the enemy cruiser. P.S. I would crush all of them in Star Wars trivia of Classic and EU. Clone Wars era and the new canon, not so much.
I hope Luke keeps the beard all the way through. It gives him an air of wizened experience. He's not the same Luke we knew from the OT nor should he be. The beard is symbolic of his development as a character during the 30-year interim and, to an extent, it could feel like backtracking if he loses it.
I wanna see a story of how Luke constructed his second lightsaber. I'd love to see Eva Green play a Sith lord. She's good at being dark, evil, and tormented.
In regards to the last question, time travel is not that far fetched in the star wars universe. Remember Yoda instructs Luke, "Through the Force, things you will see, the future, the past, old friends long gone." So absolutely a Jedi could time travel a la Bran Stark in season 6 of Game of Thrones.
I think it's good that celebration is not in the US this year it means other fans get to experience the excitement for a change! Plus the same people always get to go to SDCC so they've had enough exclusive stuff!! Time to share! 😉
I think the Star Wars hook for comic con is going to be an episode 8 teaser ala the rogue one blurb last year, ending in a title card for the film. Possibly have some of the auxiliary cast members like Carrie fisher and Gwendoline Christie there for a small panel to drum up a little excitement. Maybe if they want a big impact have Adam Driver there and unveil his new costume. I don't see or main protagonists being there as they want to keep the main focus on rogue one for now, but showing off some villain love would be a cool shift, and would also foreshadow the dramatic tonal shift from episode 7, to episode 8 (a lot like empire).
End of trailer is Vader saying "Tarkin, we're home."
😂😂😂
Thanks for letting me address the council guys! Love the show.
That was awesome!
Dickhead!
Fucking fantastic!
I would have liked a sly Maso reference.
Fucking amazing!
Never have I clicked the 'Like' button so fast
I also never clicked like on a comment so fast.
The three Johns are here
Not a bad 18th birthday present Jedi council is. Always happy when it pops up on RUclips.
Happy Birthday dude have a great day!
Happy birthday.
enjoy the youth
Happy birthday!
Thanks everyone
This is definitely the best panel you guys have had on here for a while!!!
Darth Harloff and the Knights of John.
haha exactly
ROCHA ONE. Yes! That should be John Rocha's official Jedi Council call sign. Awesome idea there, Harloff Minor. :)
3 Jo(h)n's and a Harloff
3 John's and a minor. lol
Hah, I just made comment on this with other suggestions.
This is better than both of mine!
+Devon Lott lol
...walk into a cantina...
+Lawrence Ahtuck And then what?
I'm jealous of Harloff when he shares stories about his wife and daughter. I find it so touching. Great episode guys.
I usually agree with Campea but with the cross over stuff I don't. It's not only that it's fan service, it's the fact that if things are happening in the same time period, then characters should naturally be popping back and forth for things to have tie ins and make sense. I do agree that they should be natural and not forced.
I agree 100%
Definitely.
I just want to thank the council for doing this show. This is the highlight of my week and I always look forward to listening to y'll talk about the universe and story that holds close to my heart. Keep it up y'll and again thanks for giving me an escape from the craziness of this world. :)
Did John just call Harloff sad for having a planet named after him in star wars canon while sitting there calling himself 'Obi-john-kenobi'?
I just LOVED the "Address the Council" segment by MrSundayMovies, great analysis and funny as hell! It'd be AWESOME to have him back again... perhaps on a semi-regular basis? Either way, it was awesome!
An Ahsoka movie isn't a matter of if, it's a matter of when. If we're getting a Star Wars Story ever other year, it's bound to happen.
3/4 of this council are Johns...
+Borat69able .......
+Borat69able L
Always look forward to my Thursday evenings where I pop open a Sam Adams, tell the family that Jedi Council is on, and enjoy my weekly Geekgasm. Another great show, gentlemen!

That clip from Mr. Sunday Movies was fantastic. I always love it when RUclipsrs that I randomly follow somehow find each other and collaborate.
Love this show, no matter who's on the council. Makes my week.
That awkward moment when Campea isn't the most useful John on the panel and Mr Rocha kicks his arse up and down the street with his insight. Rocha class as usual, well done sir.
No Tiffany n the show is off to a great start....
Thought I was the only one who felt this way. Don't hate her, just think the show flows better without her.
Same here. I like here just don't think she fits here
I'd take Tiffany 10 times out of 10 against Schnepp. He doesn't know anything about Star Wars aside from basic movie stuff, and occasionally mocks the others when they talk about EU stuff.
+d3nyd Mark does the same
How does she not fit on here? She knows more about Star Wars than I do and more than everybody but Kristian on the panel.
"BECAUSE HE IS VADER!!!!!! THAT'S WHY WE NEED TO SEE MORE!!!!!!!" ...........classic!
Just started watching this episode. It's a much needed escape from all the sadness & madness going on this week. Love this show.
Boba Schnepp, Mark2D2, Harloff Minor are my favorite Jedi Council members.
Thanks!
+schneppzone yes I would LOVE to smoke a fat blunt and pic his sweaty brain about movies he seems like a cool European hey by THE way do you plan on making a movie movie NEXT!?
"We have a whole lot to talk about today" *almost faints from excitement* Love the show and the crew.
Drop a 30 sec clip of Luke and Rey having a staring contest at celebration or sdcc.
Hell. Yes.
too jokey.
I love staring contests...
Weekly Planet + Schmoes/Collider = 2 of my favorite things. thanks, gents
Damn three Jon/Johns
5:55 and one John scaring another
Watched this just for Mr Sunday Movies, the legend!
Mr. Sunday Movies is just the best. Great discussion!
It's funny to hear Campea sell Comic Con so hard now that he works for them.
I'm playing a drinking game each time he says comic con I have to do a shot!
I'm fucking shit faced lol
Let me give you a big bucket of "nope". I was ROLLIN!
On the D23 thing... I never knew it existed until this podcast and only because of Mr Sunday Movies redirected me here.
You had one job, Disney
I always love when Rocha and schnep are on the council
John, John and Jon
Nice to see Schnepp and Rocha on here but it felt like Harloff just shouted across the office 'hey we need a last minute substitute for Jedi council, anyone wanna be on?'
MR SUNDAY MOVIES!! Oh my gosh all my dreams have come true! PLEASE come on the show in person someday when you're in the states
Mr. Sunday Movies video made me laugh way too hard. " Keistian, Jon, John and Jon. " lol
Great review of Life Depth! I think I will read this now. Thank you Kristian, our savior.
Love Jedi Council and all the content on Comic Con HQ! Cheers!
Kudos to Campea for mentioning West End Games' Lords of the Expanse. Such a great boxed set. Would really make for a cool TV show, though maybe not as cool as KOTOR. Oh and Mr Sunday is awesome. :) Great show, thanks!
Thank the lord tiffany is not on this week and hell yeah jon is sick i wish he was a regular on jedi council
I do not understand why Rocha are not a regular on the show!
He's on Jedi alliance as a regular
Happy Birthday Mark2-D2 !
What an awesome Jedi Council, man. Mr Sunday Movies appeareance was great.
Why does everybody hate on Luke's beard? The beard looks badass!
This has to be one of the best panels! I would love to see this line up of Johns again!
I always have a blast on this show!!!
I hope to see you in the council again! Harloff could use someone to bounce those comic reviews off! A Sweaty needs to be on this show atleast bi weekly!
Nice to see Mr Sunday rock it . Weekly Planet podcast is the best
Rocha 1 is an excellent addition to the jedi council rotation!
So glad Schnepp is back on the council.
Vader-"leave them to me" *turns on lightsaber* *fades to black* FREAKOUTT
That email in Mr sunday movies video is the best thing I have ever seen
what a great episode, THANK YOU GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Seinfeld was playing in the background the whole time I was watching this lol
Love all 6 seasons of Clone Wars. Hard to understand people's problem with them. I loved Anakin in this, it made going back and watching Revenge of the Sith all the more harder. The acting by the cartoon character was so much better than in Episode II and a little in III
I think the Rogue One trailer is going to be three minutes of imperial officers telling Vader what the rebels have done and him replying with "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
More Mr. Sunday. psst... His name is James and he has an otter dog.
Jedi Council is just the best.
There NEEDS to be an all Star Wars Schmoedown. I want in on that!
However, they can only affect people's memory of the past.
campea plugging comic con now that is where his paychecks are coming from he used to say that all disney were going to d23 in the future
agreed lol, as of right now star wars isnt even on the sdcc schedule. If they choose not to go, I totally understand they have Star Wars celebration where they will drop all the amazingness. But I'm sure John will complain if Star Wars does nothing for sdcc. Not everyone can go to sdcc or celebration but at least celebration will be live streaming there panels on youtube.
Boba Schnepp and John Rocha!?!? iInstantly a great episode!
Thanks!
Great Show! Keep up great work. I had a lot of reading to do
Time travel in Star Wars has been my greatest fear for as long as I can remember
I've never seen anyone as impressive at Kenny at answering Star Wars trivia. Go back and watch the team trivia Schmoedown last year just for a taste.
Best damn show on RUclips let alone a star wars show
Mark Hamill: Shaving of the beard could also be for a possible flashback ;)
Awesome show as always, thanks guys.
Happy Birthday Ellis!!!
Glad to Boba Schnepp on the Council! He's a beast!!
As technology I agree no time travel but in Legends there is a Force technique you can learn called Flow Walk which allows you to time travel although you can't change anything really even if you try the Force will "correct" it. Londo and Chan - The adventure continues...

Are you guys going to next year's Celebration in Orlando? I'm going and I can't freaking wait!!! Would love to see you guys there!!!
I'm going and I'm so pumped!
dragonicbeast
Same, can't wait either. Looking forward to seeing the episode 8 trailer there with everyone else.
+Thatmoviegeek oh I know
Yup!! Flying in 2 days early to secure a spot in line for the panel 8 opener. JJ bought pizza for everyone last year so I Rian does something cool
drinking game: take a shot every time campea says "comic con"
Really enjoy these shows.
hey there thanks for whatever ya'll did to equal out the sound on collider videos...dunno what you did but its better, the intro and outro's aren't blaringly loud while the actual content is quiet anymore :)
Rocha need to be a permanent feature. He was so good on Far Far Away... you know that channel you originally started Harloff xD
'After that devastating loss' with Bespin
Here goes Campea and his "I don't care."
And have it be Temuera Morrison.
nice intro speculating on Ellis' birthday celebration methods :P

No Tiffany, nice.
That Han and Boba idea reminds me the Cad Bane and Boba Fett story arc from the clone wars that wasn't released.
loved the world cup reference

Mr.SundayMovies on collider made my day :)
No doubt in my mind that we will see Vader in trailer. It will blow us all away too
yay!!! i nice long Jedi Cousel! i looooove thursdays!!! missing marky... happy birthday ellis i love u! xo
Damn you Harloff! Now I have to get the Aftermath books..

Great video with Mr Sunday Movies yesterday.
