its all good until you try to sell a bell and ross. Please be honest to people and tell them how difficult it is to sell a watch which is not Rolex. I have friends in used watches business and watches like ming and other which are hard to get struggle to sell and stay in inventory for months at times. so I think its not easy to sell one bell and ross let alone so many.
Your friends suck at selling. If a Bell and Ross store can sell the same watch for 4 to 5k, why cant you sell it preowned for 2k or especially 1600 if youre buying close to 1000? The course goes over how to sell because most people, including dealers, are dogshit at selling and like to blame the watch. It takes 0 skill or effort to sell a rolex. The rolex brand has done all the work for you and you just need to sell on price. The other popular brands that WTA recommends take a modicum of effort and you're already better than 95% of the competition. And watches like Ming arent recommended in the course.
@@MOHIMEDIALLC have you ever sold a watch? I am a collector and attend many events and sales events, most people who love watches don't even look at these watches. Id buy a Cartier, sinn, Grand Seiko and many others before it Bell and ross. teaching "skills to sell" is different from selling. this man makes it sound so easy. sell 15 Bell and Ross in a month and I will give you a date just. Im talking about UK.
@@CigarEnthusiast I literally buy and sell watches full-time because of PJ and yes including Bell and Ross. Right watch at right price in front of right person always sells. Most dealers/resellers are incredibly lazy and try to sell watches to other resellers instead of being slightly creative and slightly not lazy to go find a real retail buyer or rather present the watch in front of the right audience. Here's a free tip, the square bell and ross models sell well with military and police especially when youre selling them preowned under 2k.
Also, just keep in mind that gold-plated and iconic aren’t normally two things that go hand in hand unless you go back 50 or 60 years. And vintage watches are an entirely different beast. If you just want something for looks with a decent movement an invicta pro diver could work well here for like $60 in gold
@@CigarEnthusiast How would they stay in business for so many years if noone was buying them :) They are niche watches with unique design, not for your average watch (aka Rolex) fanatic :P
Who is buying bell and Ross? No body. The whole watch market is crashing and this guy wants to sell a one hit wonder brand that is irrelevant in today's market.... Yeah nice try.
