- In this episode, having made our bezel and insert selection, we set about reluming the hollowed-out and now cleaned bezel pip. Slowly but surely, we edge our way to completing this project.

Might be cool to use the leftover Lume paste to add to a wall clock or something like that, just a thought. great demonstration overall. Cheers from USA 🇺🇸
I like your idea of luming it from the top. In the past, I stuck down some cling film or tape in front and did it from the back.
I've also first done a layer of clear epoxy, then followed by lume from behind.
With your style, I could combine the method to slowly layer clear epoxy from the front to make a clear 'round' pip. followed by some lume behind to mimic the 6105-8000 original style.
Always looking to improve my skills.
On these bezel inserts there is no choice but to lume from the top because the hole is not a hole but a bowl! And 62MAS lume pips were never covered by a clear film or epoxy. They were just unprotected lume.
Hi from germany. I will try this on my Precista Broadarrow bezel too, cause the bezel pip got lost there. Is it an ordianry lacquer you use? And can you also tell me where i can get this lume powder? Thank you! Ben
Hi Ben, both lume and lacquer are Bergeon. You can buy a starter kit (Bergeon 5680) from a watch materials house such as Cousins in the UK (or perhaps Boley in Germany).
@@amateurwatchfettler Thank you, i will try this.
