      Thanks bud! I didn’t do the seconds hand, just the hour and minute. You’ll see more about the watch they’re from in a video later this week. :)

    I've never lumed before so do forgive me...So, you didn't say but it looks like you had the hands upside down and put the lume on the bottom surface and as its hollow it leaves the top outer metal edge nice with the lume showing through?

      Hello there. I mention this in the “Setup” section of the video (see timeline in description) but yes, lume goes on the underside of the hands. :)

    How many layers should you put?

    • @WatchComplications
      @WatchComplications  6 месяцев назад

      depends on how thin of layers you apply and how bright you want it to be. For hands I usually just do one or two layers of good quality lume. If you put more layers on it starts to thicken/bubble to the point it will interfere with the other hands.

    Can you tell me name of the liquid ?

    • @WatchComplications
      @WatchComplications  2 года назад

      it's an adhesive that comes with the kit. makes the powder sticky and then mostly evaporates. the kits also come with thinner in case you get it too thick.

      This specific video was about the process, not exactly how this instance looked after, but I could have thrown a pic in after drying. More info can be found on my site watchcomplications.com
