    Is the temperature for a fan assisted oven or normal? X

    I tried to do biscoff spread the same way you did with the jam and it started to sink into the batter, is this right?
    Also I cooked for 30 minutes on 170 fan oven and it was still gooey/undercooked in the middle

      Hi there! Thanks for using the recipe. No, it should sink as such, that would suggest the mixture was too runny.
      Blondies do need to be still wobbly when taken out the oven then fridged for at least 24 hours to give the solid consistency I get xxxx

    Just tried these but they were so under cooked. Can't work out what I've done wrong.

    • @cakesadaisy8412
      @cakesadaisy8412  3 года назад

      Hiya! You may have needed to adjust the timing specific to your oven and did you fridge them over night? Blondies shouldn’t be eaten straight out the oven xxxx

      @OkBrokenBand 3 года назад

      @@cakesadaisy8412 I'm thinking maybe lower the temp and keep them in for longer. But no, I didn't see the point in putting them in the fridge. I stuck a knife in to see how well it was done and nearly lost the knife to all the goo haha. I used the same trays as you. Would you suggest grease proof paper or buttering them up?

    • @cakesadaisy8412
      @cakesadaisy8412  3 года назад

      @@OkBrokenBand you need to fridge them, over night or at least 24 hours. They won’t work if you don’t.
      Greaseproof is what we use xxx
