Has anyone played this and thought of a category they'd love to share with others? I did this at a middle school camp back in June and the kids really enjoyed, "Send to the middle the best cheesy pickup line." Other best categories?
Good question! Each group sends someone to the middle to do the event. Doesn't really have to be a race. Some groups will make it a race and say the last group to send in a representative is disqualified.
Gospel games. If kids think that church is nothing but fun and games, then how are they ever going to take their faith seriously? Show kids some respect, preach the word of God to them, that's what they need, not games.
John Jones Hi John! Games are indeed not the point of the Church, but they are a great way to build community and get kids comfortable talking to each other! Check out some of the workshop materials about the “why” of games! These kids knew how to be silly but they also knew how to dig in to matters of faith, and ask questions, and felt comfortable being vulnerable with each other and love each other!
