    I have looked at a lot of Youth channels for games and this is the BEST one I have ever found. It is simple and easy to follow. My youth students have loved most everything I have shared from these videos. All I can say is, AWESOME!!!

    We play a similar game called "Chair to the Left". There is one less chair than people in the group. One person is in the middle trying to steal an empty chair. The person with an empty chair on the left calls someone over, that person comes over to the chair creating a new empty chair. The person in the middle tries to sit on the new empty chair before the person on the right realized that they have an empty chair to the left and calls someone over. If they sit before a name is called they keep the seat and the person who missed calling a name fast enough goes to the middle. Harder than it sounds.

    Thanks for the video. Will check out your other games.
    Instead of equal teams of boys and girls, you could use 2 teams of people who wear glasses and those that do not wear glasses, dark shirts and light shirts, long hair and short hair. Hope this helps.

    This is one of our groups' favorites. We always play the harder version. For younger kids though, the first version is better.

    Hi! Your videos have been really pumping ideas into our head and getting us excited about our youth group at our church. I have a question concerning the rules of the game: Is there a rule that prevents one from calling the name on their own paper?
    Thanks for the video and for reading my question :)

      Hi Mabelynn! Glad it's been helpful!!
      Yes, there is a rule that you can't call your own slip of paper! Thanks for catching that!

    How comes Quinn got to choose at 2:00? I though it was the person to the right of the empty spot who should choose.

      Kathryn Downer You are so right! I noticed that after posting but never edited the video! You’re the first person other than me to notice (or at least comment)!

    Wait, how's the advance version work? if you got your name your good? or you need to get 4 people right name in your group to win.

    • @YouthMinistryGreatGames
      @YouthMinistryGreatGames  8 лет назад +2

      +Kenneth Christopher Daculug The advanced version is played with the same goal: to get "the couch" filled with members of your team. The part that makes it more difficult is that each player doesn't keep the same name throughout the round (For example, you could remember that Joe has the name Tom for an entire round). Whenever someone calls a name, not only does the player that's holding that name move, they also switch papers with the person that called them so that both players involved have new names. Hope that clarifies it! This game is super difficult to pick up on with just words, which is why I knew this one needed a video!

    Not a bad game, guys

    It seems like this game would only work if you had an even amount of guys and girls. Is that true?

    • @YouthMinistryGreatGames
      @YouthMinistryGreatGames  7 лет назад

      Kevin Loveland You just need two even teams. We had even guys and gals do we did it that way for clarity. But you can split any way you like or are able!

    Hey, thanks for this video. :) question: Do you win by getting 4 girls or 4 boys on the couch? Or by getting 4 people who have the NAMES of 4 girls or 4 boys? In other words, is your team made up of people with the same gender? Or of people with slips of paper with the same gender? Oh, boy. I may be overthinking this.

    • @YouthMinistryGreatGames
      @YouthMinistryGreatGames  8 лет назад +1

      +Shannon Popkin A great question! You need to get 4 of one team on the couch. Our teams were boys and girls this round, but don't have to be! The names we had were arbitrary and random to make it a little more difficult to pick the right people (if that makes sense).
