usually dont comment but this was super amazing, Delivery was fast under 5 buisness days,only cost 30$ for headband,and the video really does help,just make sure to buy the proper screwdriver and to get something to pry it like the prying tool or what i used was a very thin knife, but overall was amazing and saved me from dropping another 100$ on some beats. now to work on my old grey ones sitting in my closet all these years.The only issue i had which i just used super glue to fix was the rubber part under headband was really hard to get back on which is why i had to use super glue but other than that it was pretty easy
also forgot to mention for others, that the model number which mine was the B0518is located on the metal extended arm and they were beats solo 2 wired/wireless.
I can't find a video of post anywhere that covers what to do if the hinge itself is broken. I can't even find the parts since this model (Solo2 Wireless - Gold) has been apparently banished from Amazon.

Hey I have a question... when I pry open the right side of the beats (where the battery is) there are these 3 cables (one red, one blue, and one black) and they go up to the headband and then I think they just turn into that 1 large black wire that runs through the headband... well I think there is a problem with mine... I opened my beats to change what I thought was a defective battery and realized that my beats would disconnect and or turn off/on when those 3 cables where touched or moved, I opened up the left side of my beats and it had the same problem so I feel like there is something wrong like mid way through the long black wire that runs through the headband... have you guys ever experience this problem? And also is there any fix for it?

Thanks for watching! Yes, that acts as a main support for that part of the headband and if it is cracked or bent, the headband will not fit properly and is much more likely to break. MD.
Replacing the hinge is a rather tedious job as it requires you to desolder all of the wires on that side of the headphones and carefully slide the hinge off of them one by one.
