Hahah I did pick up those German versions and sent them straight back, I actually went back and watched the blu rays with them side by side and it genuinely looked better in 1080p

3D was amazing it has to be the go to disc for this movie.
I have compared both of them all three movies. Hdr is over blown in the german versions but it is brighter and in my opinion more appealing. The Dts hd master is administered in a higher bit rate and way better than the disney atmouse. The only complaint on the german ones are the skin tones that look overblown in certain scenes and not all of them.
I remember seeing it once and that was more than enough. Never had a desire to return to it 1:37
I just think maxing out the price @ 29.99 is a little steep for movies that have been out for a while now. They should sell the trilogy for maybe $60 and then perhaps it becomes more reasonable. I'll stick with the 1080p versions until then.

Eli Walsh Problem is Disney barely lowers the prices. Captain America 1 released in 4K back in February and the lowest I've seen is $25.
@@Emo_Parker Yeah. I personally won't give Disney my money here until the 4k disks hit $20 per disk for these movies that have already been out for a while. I'd like to have the 4k versions but not that badly. Perhaps a sale will hit... perhaps not. Disney in my opinion are going to ruin the movie industry by buying competing companies.

Disney 4k=disappointment these days. With all modern movies shot below 4k and processed to 2k DI, it looks like a proper 4k experience is just reserved for older movies shot on film. Sad
Sadly in this digital age 2k is what CGI is rendered at so most filmmakers shoot at that resolution to keep the look consistent.

Disappointing bass? Is your subwoofer volume still too slow? I found this atmos track to be very good overall, just had too turn the volume up a little bit. You can hear that this movie had atmos to begin with. Thor and thor 2 are not native atmos and were a disappointment with height action.
Jeroen. Hello from Munich and yes IM 3 was nativ ATMOS movie (no ATMOS remix on US UHD) same goes for THOR 2 with DOLBY ATMOS track for theatrical release

It's always hard to see a movie with Robert Downey, Jr. and not find his sarcasm and personality incredibly charming. He really shows why he is one of the best on-screen superheroes today by showing that he can have good chemistry with everyone ... even a young child. This is a huge step-up from "Iron Man 2," which failed in many different ways. It features a very promising villain that could also be the setup for future installments of - not only the "Iron Man" movies, but the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. 4kmovies co

What’s the difference between the previous 4K Iron Man1,2, & 3 that’s been available for a while???
He mentioned those in the video. Those were German releases that were fake 4K. They were just upscaled from the regular Blu-Ray I believe. These new ones are official releases straight from Disney/Marvel.

Iron man 1&2 smoke the 1080p bluray's Part 3 is not better looking than 1&2. You have more "natural" grain in 1&2. However they were fimed in 35mm film.
Shane our (back then the only option!) IM trilogy UHD discs w. that bad at least better than the 1080p BLU-RAY + IRON MAN 3 (the worst IM!) is a nativ DOLBY ATMOS production not a new made ATMOS remix

Bought the trilogy (uk) 3 is the best looking movie by far, although in my own set up the audio was spectacular on all 3 films 🤔/ maybe my avr calibrated the bass a bit hot though.

The review on here is the latest / new version of iron man 3 / the same as whats in our box set.
He's never reviewed the old German iron man 4k movies as they are so bad.
They're all a good upgrade over the blu rays / just 3 has that 4k crispy look in comparison to 1 & 2 (imo)

@@Drewbibski i agree with you on those except antman and the wasp, i felt that movie was far better imo. Iron man 3 just does little to nothing in moving iron man and the mcu forward. It literally got its ending retconned 2 years after.
The98xander Yeah thats why Iron Man 3 is actually good. It stands on its own and it actually has a style unlike Antman And The Wasp. It also makes Tony Stark a far more interesting character and it’s entertaining seeing Tony. Iron Man 3 is not a great movie. It has issues, But I would watch Iron Man 3 over Antman and The Wasp any day. Antman 2 has nothing to offer but to set up Endgame aka the quantum Realm and even that movie did nothing to explain it. Endgame explained it much better with exposition.

Thor 2 sucks but it is an important movie in the mcu. Iron man 3 is a movie i feel a marvel fam can skip and miss essentially nothing. :/
The98xander That’s a fair argument. I personally don’t mind a stand alone mcu movje as long as it has interesting characters, a style and it’s entertaining. I blame Age Of Ultron for retconning the Iron Man 3 ending. That movie basically made Iron Man 3 useless. But I could look past that and look at Iron Man 3 as a stand alone movie and I think personally, it works as that.

@@notsoslimshady6990 Is this true for all non-US imports? They use different techs? I'm pretty sure the Die Hard 4K 30th Anniversary Edition I bought was from Germany but not certain. Now I'm having second thoughts on its tech specs.
