Led turn signal upgrade how to for 3rd gen Toyota Prius DIY relay no hyperflash 2010-15

This is a tutorial on upgrading the turn signals to LED on a 3rd gen Toyota Prius including changing the flasher relay. Comment if you have any questions and give it a like if this helps.

Well, I finally found it after a night of sleep & scraped knuckles. I got the blue socket unplugged, but how hard do i push up the relay? Can i just install now one in place? Just i just plug it in let it dangle?

Yep, have not had a single issue and I’ve put about 30k miles on the car since I switched the bulbs.

The Relay will not work for 4th gen. I don’t believe you need to change the relay on 4th gen. The videos I checked simply swapped the bulbs and had no hyper flash. Not positive about that though.

at amazon they say it would not fit prius 2014..., what year is your car?

Sorry for the late reply but mine is a 2013. Should be the same as the 2014 and 2015.

Sorry for the late reply but the answer is EBay. They ran about $200 with the custom pained mirror covers. Installing was a pain but I really like them.

The signal mirrors were a pain. They were about $200 on EBay, but they are awesome. There is a good video on how to wire them. A guy with a white one explained which wires to splice into.
