- The Yagna is perhaps the oldest ritual to known to man. This video explains how it was viewed in the Vedic era and how this understanding has evolved throughout time. Using the Gita and the Puranas, we are made to see what the true meaning of the Yagna sacrifice is.

Understanding of God by Science facts
He is the one that Created 14 billion light years of Universe, with trillion of Suns, Stars, Planets, Galaxies, Milk ways, Clusters in it.
This cannot be possible by One, who is being a material or element of this creation, that can create and control this huge universe.
He is bound to be powerful and different for this entire creation, or else He cannot create these trillions of Suns with billion of degrees of Heat, Light, Radiation and Power.
If He is of element of this universe, then heat of Suns will melt Him and eat Him.
What He has created, can bring end of Him.
Do you understand, the Heat and power of One Sun is billions of degrees, that melts and dissolves any element of this universe.
So, He should not of the material/element of this universe, and should be much stronger and tougher that any element found in our universe, so that, all Suns combined cannot destroy/harm Him.
Our reasoning and sciences explains this to us and He Himself too dictated this, in His message 112:2.
And our science explains us, the One created of the elements of this universe, can never have the capacity and capability to create material like its own from which he himself is made of.

My grand uncle died. I was in grief and despair, and since Hinduism is not so popular around the internet, I didn't know how I'd think. Would he go to Svarg? He was a good person, right? Will he not be involved with me in his next life? Would he even be reborn as a Hindu? This has mostly cleared my doubts and made me feel somewhat better. Thank you very much. Atharva Veda 4.11.1 says "“The sun has held the earth and other planets”" it is talking about gravity. What are you talking about? Also, present your argument in a readable format, I'll try to answer

I have a question though 🤔. It was mentioned about the Earthly material realm, and the Celestial realm that we cannot see. But doesn't " Celestial " mean , of the heavens....as in outer space? Outer space though is also a physical place , it's just a matter of physically transporting there. We have the hubal space telescope verifying that the planets and moons and other sun's, ( which are other Star systems), isn't this the meaning of Celestial??? Clarifying that the Earthly realm is the same realm of/as the Saturnian realm, or the Martian realm,etc, as they are all in the physical realm, spread out into the Celestial space. Yagna has always been treated as science or technology rather than pure religion. A perfect yagna will yield the desired result regardless of a persons true intentions. But pure selfish desire will have limitations in various ways although the results r still spectacular and can be easily verified empirically if done properly. True yagna is both internal and external. It is done to satisfy material desires but with a fundamental understanding that the point of such material benefits is to take us on a higher spiritual path ultimately. Which is y charity of various kinds r also treated as yagna. Also yagnas for the welfare of all beings in all the worlds exist to serve this same purpose : to drive home the point that the point of all rituals is to make a person treat all living beings in creation as parts of one’s family and therefore extend benefits to all through one’s yagna. In other words to give one a comfortable path to spiritual success which is normally a thorny one.

Yagna is translated as "Offerings to the Fire" or "Fire Offerings". Sacrifice is not correct English translation.

For anyones kind information there is no such thing as Yagna Sacrifice. Either there is Yagna (Sanskrit) or a sacrifice (English). And Yagna is not a sacrifice.
Also, a suggestion your pronunciation of Yajna can be improved.
It uses 'J' sound like in Jug, and not 'G' sound like in Good.

Hindu God "Brahman" is consciousness, it is the underlying reality of all that exists, (like electricity that powers all electronic devices). This material universe is a play within that consciousness, our individual identities are a temporary illusion, we all are that same divinity. Moksha, the highest of Hindu/ Dharmic goal is about stilling the ever-running mind to realize the truth, that "Self is the Truth"
Who are Krishna and Shiva then? They are the expression of that supreme consciousness within the material world, there can be millions of manifestations of the divinity. This physical universe is just a projection out of that consciousness, even this physical universe is consciousness alone, for your rant to have any value, the physical universe must be separate from God (and thus it becomes inferior, and thus the physical body is inferior). In the Hindu view there is no separation.

In Bhagavad Gita Krishna preaches to Arjuna not to desire for worldly things and do karma without desiring for reward yet Vedas contain supplication to God(s) for attaining worldly things like wealth, cows etc . and Krishna also says that people who are foolish are influenced by "flower words " of Vedas ( read Bhagavad gita as it is by Prabhupada ) . Prabhupada also says in his commentary that ANIMALS MAY BE SACRIFICED IN YAJNAS AND ANIMALS SACRIFICED IN YAJNAS GET LIBERATED . I am sorry but the Gods are not genie's and you should have responsibility and accountability for your own success, or failures. Worry not about what will happen after death for you have made your reward or punishment by what your doings on this earth. I also don't believe in sacrificing animals either as God created them for our visual enjoyment not to be killed or be abused for your personal stupidity. Example: The animal is a piece of art, then you go and destroy it and give it back to God as a ruined gift, that is a backhand slap to God. Animal sacrifice in the Vedic age(5000+ years ago) was not animal killing. Sacrifice was the name given by the missionaries who ruled India for 200 years. The rishis had the power to send the atman (not equalent to the cocept of Soul. Because in abrahamic religions animals do not have soul. So i will use Atman here) of the animal to higher worlds. It was never killing the animal. Infact, this ritual is banned in kaliyuga. i.e current times. As most/all rishis do not possess these powers.
