This kind of thing happens more often than you’d like to know. Most of it doesn’t make the news. Former FA for Delta & United here. I was talking to the pilots in the cockpit before loading the next PAX. I look at the plane next to us and see another plane approaching the gate. I say to the pilot,” That plane looks awfully close… “ and 💥 BOOM! The planes collide. Unf*ckingbelievable that happened with the amount of ground crew. Another time we were taxing on the runway , I was strapped into my seat facing the PAX and all of a sudden the pilots slam on the brakes to avoid a collision on the runway. My FA career was VERY short ( less than 3 years) and the amount of nonsense from the PAX + inflight crew ,near misses, and actual accidents combined with the head to toe bruises from constant turbulence I dealt with was too stressful to make it worth sticking around. I forgot to mention this was over 15 years ago, so it’s not anything new.
Wait. This is different. The plane I saw was a small plane and there were 2 passengers one took video right up until it crashed into the back of the other plane
