Great video. After I completed the challenges for this league in trade, I have been slowly building a reap/bleed scion in ssf r. Fun, but a massive headache because i have to farm at least 10 regrets to fix my tree. This video gave me some insight and ideas to improve my current build. Thanks for the quality content! I played Corrupting Cry Scion last league and enjoyed it. You're already using or passing by a lot of the nodes a CC user would want to take. Might be able to fit it into the build, depending on sockets.
A bit too tight on sockets and passive points for that, would have to drop other stuff that I value highly. We already stack corrupting fever pretty fast as it is so I'm probably not going to consider it for this build.
I'm torn between league starting this or Armageddon Brand Hierophant on regular SSF. The buffs to both Reap and Exsanguinate are really tempting me (also Scion supposedly got new voice lines in the late campaign in 3.23, so that may be something to check for).
is this possible for slayer for leech tech im planning to make blood mage alongside the warlock life ascendacies turn the blood cost adds physical dmage
I checked how this would feel and it's rough, you're forced to go low life to scale dps instead of using all your mana for auras and the added phys damage doesn't help the dot so it's much more suited to a build that scales the hit portion of reap via crit or for other spells. I think Primalist will be a lot better for this build as you'll be able to fill in gaps (like getting arcane surge) that aren't easy to fill otherwise.
Warlock has little value for this build from what I've seen, going the blood magic route forces us to go low life (which is several points away) and makes RF harder to sustain and we can't have as many auras. The added phys to spells node doesn't help our DoT which is the majority of our damage. I'm going to go primalist as long as the charms we get in ruthless aren't dogwater.
iirc exsang got nerfed for its dps at lower levels so this isn't as smooth to start with now, but general concept should still hold up in endgame though. melee phys bleed builds are gonna be better for phys dot though, especially with stuff like eviscerate
Also need to make some decisions as Versatile Combatant and Iron Reflexes got swapped so it needs a couple extra points to get the latter. An armor node in the SW got removed (150 flat 10% increased) leaving only the 20% increase option to get to inexorable (25% chance to get endurance on being hit, 50% increased armor stationary) And a life mastery wheel just north of that got changed into a mana mastery, making getting 6 life masteries more awkward for the version of the tree that does that. Closest thing would probably be rerouting the tree as going west from the scion again instead of SW, still get a jewel slot and then grabbing the wheel with Tireless, at a glance. Unfortunately that all requires like 4 extra points total, bringing it up from 91 to 95. So probably need to make sacrifices somewhere if going for the 6 life mastery tree. Edit: and perhaps most importantly, the Raider ascendency got replaced with warden for Scions too, so no frenzy charges for hitting bosses or onslaught while on full frenzy anymore.
Lucid Dreams will boost your vaal orb supply while also dropping vaal gems randomly. Though for this build we want to eventually try to get 20% quality Vaal reap so the t3 gem room's corruption device would be our best bet as that applies 2 corruption effects at once.
I know this a ruthless build, but how would this fare in regular trade league? Haven't done ruthless before so Idk if it's possible to interchange builds like that.

I'll be honest this build looks pretty well done. Im gonna give it a shot!!
So, was it a good starter? I'm thinking about playing Ruthless but I can't decide with a build

Always wanted to try exsan/reap and your build looks quite good. Which of the new ascendencies would you use for this build? i was thinking warlock

How do you think this build would do now in Ruthless? Looking to start for the first time.

How do you get a Vaal gem in ruthless? I never have enough Vaal orbs to corrupt one.

benchleague builds can scale this build much more easily, from easier access to cold iron points to awakened gems and the like.
Great build!! Would you recommend it for SSF only? Does it work well with bosses? (Maven etc..)
nice video, hilarious user name.
I have no idea what to do for leveling gem setups.
gems you take from quests are in the notes. no supports guaranteed in ruthless but you can get to maps on a 1 link using the setup provided
Best
A shame the new RF gem doesn't have +more spell power, it would have slotted in perfectly basing the burn on mana instead :)

I'm gonna give this a go, so I don't play that bane/blight occultist again :D
