shockwave totem and astral projector if I was gonna farm sanctum or really push boss farming but with ball lightning of static nerfed I didn't feel motivation to research it.
Your videos are a blessing for a player like me. I'm not that good enough to play hardcore on PoE but that's what I'm looking for on video games in general. As such playing, even on softcore I'd be more confortable with something that pass the test of hardcore. Fuck I hate die in this game and honestly this is the number one reason I quit a league :p

Trickster comes with good damage but from a hardcore perspective I would need a lot of decent gear to either go hybrid life/es or pure ci if I wanted to take advantage of the defenses trickster gives.
I played FB trickster. Bad defense at a lower budget, one enemy touches you, you are dead Awesome clear speed and good damage as enemies get frozen at low budget.
Grimro is coming back. He made a post yesterday. If you don't want to look it up for yourself the TLDR is that he is coming back but it is no longer his main focus. He is only going to make content when he wants to and when he thinks it will be fun.
Splitting steel is still above 2mil damage on the plan A and B despite losing 2projectiles which is what I recommend as a minimum so yeah it's fine and that pob is VERY bare bones you can easily add some more damage with real gear.
@WafflezLovesArpgs aah i see, fair enough. Its my number 1 starting contender at the moment due to its strengths in single target. With the changes to boss rush like mechanics its very strong for doing enough damage to sustain those strats early on.. either that or boneshatter..
pob updated after I did some cleaning up/did some research on farshot and blah blah and now the build has 3mil minimum damage on both versions even after taking away 2 proj so their ya go bud
@@TheVillainArc363You loose the massive single target of manaforge TR of withering. You should instead get mana reservation. You'll loose 8-10 points and your anoint but that's less than the 40% single target from using EB
I was just gonna use a mana flask forever anyway cause I don't do betrayal on hc xdd but I know you can get around the mana nerf I would just have to research the options to do it.
Last league i did a pathfinder SRS poison, very tanky and good damage, did almost all ubers. Next league i will try to make a lightning version(close to champion build). Poison is complicated and some of the items are irreplaceable uniques.
Never thought of a Pathfinder for minions tbh sounds tanky, but yeah I agree that the chest and weapon for poison are too mandatory for me to recommend as a league start but I do love poison srs.
Can anyone please tell why the hypothermia support on Lightning Conduit? There's nothing on that build that gives you guaranteed chill on enemies, I think? Maybe I'm dumb (I am but I just wanna understand) and I'm missing something here.
the helmet has cold damage to spells on it and even though it's a low amount of it the cold mastery allows all cold damage to chill even if it's a low amount, so a easy thing pob does for us is if we didn't have a source of chill it wouldn't even be allowed to "give damage" but yeah that's the reason
@@WafflezLovesArpgs Oh ok I was doing some research and the key for me to understand is that cold damage ALWAYS inflict chill on enemies and I didn't know that. I thought it worked just like shock or ignite where you need to increase the chances for you to inflict those ailments. I guess you learn something new every day hehe

Boneshatter/toxic rain/dd if you are fine with farming the transfigured gems, then Bama guardian does stupidly high damage once you get the gem and a low end ele bow, but in my opinion most of these work in ssf.
Your pobb link states 3.5m dmg but when I load the POB combined damage says 460k for plan A and 360k for plan B, what am I missing? I'm kind of a new player, played Delirium, scourge and Expedition but never got to the "Real" endgame

I think the mana stuff is enough to make mana meta now but I don't like doing an experiment as league starters anymore lol I put my "time in" for years doing that and just stick to basics for my starter now

yeah 100% I only like pathfinder because of flask stuff and lightning coil from a hc perspective, the wither stacks im not 100% if you would maintain 15 stacks without the extra help pathfinder gives with that but maybe enhance on withering step would help or worst case scenario just use withering touch as a support.
dont allocate call to arms on the volcanic fissure tree it will brick the curse setup. not sure why you gave a ton of 3.23 trees. wouldn't be surprised if there were other problems too

Yeeeaah I think it's obviously still playable and I don't regret telling ppl that it's still a viable league starter like....of course it is even if they nerfed 25% of it's damage it's literally the ONLY melee league starter that can even think of doing ubers for Hc. Well I guess I didn't make it clear enough I meant that I would play splitting steel complete some of my atlas and just buy a Arrakalis fang (meanwhile) I would do expedition mechanics early on to save up money and get vaal orbs and alchemy orb to progress my atlas at the same time. Abyss gives a ton jewels early on and the jewels in the pob can easily be rolled with just harvest yellow juice so I would do Abyss as I find it target harvest and expedition on league start and buy the Araakalis fang when I can afford it. 99% of everyone watching this is sc trade and it was 100c on day 2 of the league the last 2 leagues if someone can't afford or come up with a strat to obtain it then don't do it. This is just what I would do if Istarted sc trade but I don't think I can explain all of this in 2minutes so that's still on me.

Boneshatter is the easiest to recommend since it's the simplest gauntlet build if I had to pick one but DD or toxic rain with decent gear should be able to do it

It's complicated yes it got nerfed but SRS has a lot of hidden text on the gem and we don't know which form of SRS (poison or fire or both) are affected by the nerf so we have to wait for a confirmation from GGG on what exactly was the wording

TR was indirectly nerfed by removal of the mana cost reduction on the jewels and flask. of course there's a work around, but it's still a nerf

Make sure to double check if the build you follow is using a % reduced mana cost flask. If so that is a problem you will need to solve
