Cool video. Had a similar experience where I fell in love with Earthshatter and the synergy of blowing up the rocks. It has some really funny synergy with jagged ground support and stampede to blow up the jagged ground as well. I do a combo of Earthshatter a couple times, Stampede in and Seismic cry to blow up and get aftershock stacks. It lights up the screen in a really funny way even with barely any AoE nodes. I also went for nodes to induce armor break on stun so I could put more support gems in Earthshatter, since there's so many that are really good on it. Allows me to Sunder and Hammer of the gods for pretty good boss kills. I did have a major problem with tankiness since armor is really weird rn according to some videos and I swapped to a shield and 2h with Giant's blood, that helped alot, but apparently cloak of fire and stacking fire res is the best physical damage negation you can get against bosses.. Kind of a shame. Thanks for sharing! I probably will end up going back to a single 2hander if I can get a proper cloak of fire setup, although the idea of mixing that with a shield and becoming insanely tanky due to the block chance is appealing as well. Glad to see someone else likes Earthshatter as much as I do.

I mean, having to cast earth shatter and then warcry to pop them for clear is probably not that much faster than a sunder that will clear a screen (it is faster though for sure)... Also if you're using HOTG you can use it along with Sunder to 'insta kill' any T18 boss with a lot of overkill, and by that I mean 100 to 0 in first combo with probably a couple million overkill damage at least happening after it dies, not longer fights like it looked like some of those might've been in your video (druid?). And if you miss HOTG or mess up the combo in some way, you still usually get the kill or can kill with just sunder before HOTG comes back online in a worst case scenario. I don't even have 5 supp gems on either move either, only 4 as level mid 80's Titan. Both get the guaranteed crit, both get the guaranteed aftershock, and your favorite can have ancestral. Max resists of course and 3.6k hp, with 81% from armor, all with middling gear. I do use earthshatter since I also use seismic cry as part of the main combo, but I just stuck it on the Ancestral Warrior totem which also provides me with a lot of good buffs/auras, so while I swing at a boss a few times to heavy stun, it usually has a lot of Earthshatters ready to pop as part of the wombo sunder+HOTG combo. All of my gear total is probably worth maybe 1 divine (and I mean combined total value), so I can't really imagine a better "budget" build than HOTG+Sunder Titan for players who don't have a ton of time but want to play through end game content. If I spent 2 divine on just a new weapon a single combo could be way into the double digit millions of damage. It certainly achieves a better boss killing result for less cost than above video already and although you do have to deal with the sunder windup for clear, there are probably ways to integrate other, faster moves for that, and it isn't the end of the world to clear a screen with sunder. You can do the build with basically any ascendancy choices as well based on personal preference, although obviously crushing blows + 40% more damage against heavy stunned enemies + more aftershocks and AOE maximizes damage. I'm currently not using any of that though and instead am running the 15% max HP and the armor branches, along with the center branch for strength and minor node power increase, makes me a lot tankier and keeps the door open for Giant's Blood in the future at the cost of a lot of damage, but I still do plenty with the combo.

Armour works proportionally better with smaller hits and vice versa. So the point of splitting damage taken into fire and use armour for fire is to mitigate through fire resist THEN armour. Effectively negating fire damage taken from hits That means you need MUCH lesser armour investment to mitigate both physical and fire hits. You need armour to mitigate fire damage hits as well, which is from the notable from the tree

You want both. You want at least 8 to 10k to reduce the small hits and the cloak of flame to survive massive hits

I lose interest when it comes to weapon swapping. I hate that style of play. Just adds more buttons. Should never be a thing. This not ESO

Regarding the weapon, is it necessary to have melee skills stats?

I feel dumb - but how does weapon swap help out here? aren't the two weapons almost the same? Is it a matter of min-maxing some passives to match the actives?

I'm getting the feeling that in upcoming patches, they might double down on weapon set points and make them non-interchangeable with normal skill points.

Might try this build since I'm a titan myself but man, it's kinda sad that the strongest warrior/mace skill is one that's functionally a spell (HotG)

Thanks for sharing your build and well explained. I'm in lvl 65 and approaching the end game. Never tried warcry before. will try it out - and the skill tree w/ weapon binding concepct is cool! havent thought about it.

Very nice! Also been trying to play Earthshatter into endgame, I went Warbringer though so it's not as powerful but has been a blast either way. May look into making a titan to try this too! Also what cosmetic is that chest piece/cape? Looks sick

Oh nice vid! Did you use different music for the first half of the vid compared to stream? It's kinda decent. Sometimes I wanna hang out on stream but it gets tiresome after a bit because of different taste in music. Can't really blame anyone for that, of course.

Hello, Little update im 88 lvl on this build on ssf ruthless xbox. So far great even if i miss 2x close combat and expert retaliation support skill. Completly no luck and I make around 4labs every day to switch gems for. By the way have you got any discord for your community?
