- In this video, I made a Arcade Joystick from cardboard and old USB keyboard.
It is much more complicated than I expected, but It works fine anyway.
You need
Cardboard
Super Glue
Rubber Bands
Keyboard
to make this Arcade Joystick.

finally I found a person who did what I think.. you are genius bro
incredible, I made a similar cardboard arcade stick today. mine was a lot simpler but yours functions better.
I just put a keyboard in a shoebox and glued on 10 same sized sticks which poked through the lid of the box and I just hot glued some quarters so they looked like buttons and they function well. for the joystick I glued on risers and a dpad shaped cardboard to the w a x d keys and put a pen with a ping ping ball on top in the middle (which also poked through the lid) it's kinda janky but it works. I'm gonna buy real buttons and make a real arcade cabinet soon

Thought about making this a few years ago, your idea is awesome no disassembly no power tools, just a sweet ass idea and some cardboard👍👍👍👍👍👍

Can you do a hit box?
Does it work for Fighting games that requires 8 directions like KOF?
And how resistant is?
Frankly it is not very strong. If you play KOF with it, it will break.
Hit box version might be more practical for cardboard.

the joystick looks great but my head just hurts following how he is making the item. The title says How to make a cardboard joystick" and there is no clear demonstration or whatsoever, just cut scenes of him showing that he fixed it. This video would have been way better if he gave a in depth demonstration on how to make it.
Man can we get a pdf or something or atleast a small guide on this it's really a nice build but too fast the video is so it's complicated

its so complicated and with all these stuff most people would get it wrong by accident, better off just making a 20 dollar controller like the ones you see on youtube

you don't need a driver for this, it acts like a normal keyboard, you just need to bind the keys
