What’s amazing is that Atlanta had their best pitcher miss the majority of the season and they never missed a beat. Perhaps the Mets need to look at what teams like Atlanta and Tampa are doing and learn from them.

If the league as a whole isn't studying what they're doing it's a huge mistake, I'd say Dodgers too, having your next guy up year after year like these three have done is incredible.

Hey! Just found your channel and really enjoy your commentary, but I have noticed that the background im music is the same from video to video and it’s not annoying when just watching one of your videos and then going to another, it does get a bit redundant when trying to give your channel a binge watch though. Just something i noticed and wanted to leave a note for you! Great job on the videos man!

Been a Mets fan my whole life. Nearly 35 years now. 'Cursed', doesn't come within a billion light years of describing this team... They spend money, they suck. They DON'T spend money, they suck. They manage to scrape together surprise playoff caliber teams out of what seems like thin air, they blow it. They put together a full roster of nigh on legendary players and gain all the respect and praise in the world, they choke in the most dumbfoundingly stupid ways imaginable. I will bleed orange and blue until the day I die, but, existence is pain to a Mets fan. Pure. Unyielding. Intense. Never ending. Pain. Sigh... Oh well.

Can't blame Scherzer for leaving. Dude's 39 and wants to win now.
You never know what tomorrow will bring, especially this decade. You should plan for the here and now, not sit on your hands waiting to see what the future holds, especially if you're an athlete pushing 40 with one or two good years left at best.

The injuries to the rotation didn't help, but most of this team has underperformed too. The fact this pitching staff struggled with the zone as much as they did was really surprising to me.
