Ahhhh $450 for a 4-bedroom apartment! What am I doing in Sydney😭😭😭? You see that 'random shopping' eh, that one can pain my soul. My second daughter outgrows things every two weeks (or so it seems to me). And yes please, no conversion to naira please! Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hello:) I lived in the US for many years(I am an Aussie:)) and I know exactly what you are saying with the converting. Everything needs converting it seems, from the cost of things, writing the date to the weather! The good news is that it does stop after awhile:) you become acclimated in most things. There are modern apartments everywhere in Perth. Where you work or go to school will probably decide where you choose to stay. For the kind of apartment you've described... perhaps $350 but again check the rental market and see for yourself. You can use Realestate.com.au

Hello James, this depends on a lot of factors. Like visa type, location and the school. If you are coming in as PR, the fees would be free for a public school. Other visa types will need to pay.

Hi Mic Boy, yes it is possible to transition from Student visa to PR in Australia. Honestly, Computer engineering is marketable anywhere but it depends on a lot of factors like where your experience and qualification is from e.t.c. ICT management is very broad so I don't really know. I would recommend doing some more research to see if it is ( might be worded differently) in the occupations list for PR.

These figures are now out of date, petrol is over $2 a litre, food prices have increased by at least 6%, meat is very expensive, power prices and gas prices have also just increased.... and we have very low rental vacancies, $450 is a cheap place, average is $500 if not more.. Takeaway for 4 for twice a month...for this you would be lucky to get 4 pizzas from dominoes, so very conservative. a day pass on public transport is $9.80 a day, that is the cheapest you will get... parkin gat train stations is $2 a day...
