I wish you started the Tool discography in order so you could see the evolution of their art. That said, Tool army will keeo coming back for more! As with most Tool fans, their isn't a favorite song; its whatever you're listening to at the time❤
I feel like this is a song that’s tough to absorb on a first listen, but over time can become a favorite. Try listening it to a few more times. Keep it up!
Honestly every Tool song is like that for me. I don’t like any of them the first time, it takes me a few listens. Then I end up finding new layers to each song on each listen. It’s crazy how complex their music is.
Odd thing about this one is each member uses different time signatures so it’s difficult to listen to but at times they come back to the same time signature. Lots of people talk about this song and how difficult it is to find a grove.
Not like the rest of the reactions on RUclips (who supposedly noticed it during their first listen) - Brian doesn't notice the incredible scream at 8:16. This shows he really is diving into the song for the first time and not watching others videos first to try and catch all the "good stuff" Honest good first listen. Love it! Hope you go back and try to catch that incredible scream from Maynard - Keep them coming Brian! Tool Army out!
