By the way, where did you get that clip of Seliph saying "Father?" Was it an unused clip?
When Seliph is finally able to meet his parents even for a few moments after Arvis is defeated, still one of my favorite moments in the entire franchise!
This makes me want an Genealogy remake even more now.

Me too. Genealogy of Holy War is my favorite underrated Fire Emblem game that really makes us beg for a remake and we can wish for a "what-if " stories.

So good, especially after yesterday. These theme battles just keep getting better and better.

Honestly, while the theme battle is very well done, I also noticed that the skills in Seliph and Julia's S slots are the same as the ones in Sigurd and Deirdre's A slots respectively, as if they inherited those skills.
Was that done on purpose?
2ShyShy PM1, you clever man! Making it as accurate to FE4 as possible!
On top of that, Seliph and Julia have Draconic Aura and Fang, whilst Sigurd and Deirdre have Bonfire and Glacies. If the parallels weren't obvious, Draconic Aura and Fang have similar mechanics (Damage based on Atk), as do Bonfire (Damage based on Def) and Glacies (Damage based on Res).

Father and son have the opposite iv while the mother and daughter have the same boon. This is really pleasing to watch.

This is now my favorite theme battle since Seliph avenged his parents true to the story!
That was my favorite part of geneology when Seliph got to see the ghosts of his parents. Makes me emotional every time.

So beautifully done. I didn't know you had it in you. Having Sigurd and Deirdre to help their children, even though they are dead, they keep fighting for their children. And Seliph man. He isn't as good as Sigurd but you did it anyway. All in all, this was amazing to see the family facing Arvis once and for all. That ending... was sad to see Deirdre and Sigurd say goodbye one last time with Seliph.
The effort you put into these theme battles is amazing. I always look forward to seeing more!

Yes Gen 2. Gen 1 was good too but this is by far the best. Thank you PM1 for your content as usual. The last part.... the feels.
In videos like these we can really see how PM1 loves the franchise!
I love how Sigurd has Close Defense as his A Skill and Seliph has it as his Sacred Seal, and Deirdre has Attack +3, and Julia has it as her Sacred Seal, showing the inheritance :)
I HAD a witty comment to say, but I'm just gonna keep it quiet and say top notch and excellent work. It's always fun seeing your theme team battles.
I expected the final battle map to be played, but this is better. Also, why don't you refine Seliph's and Julia weapon ?

We neeeed a Gen 2 banner for Genealogy, it would be super neat... Maybe we could get Armored Arvis (based on him as an emperor from later, in gen 2) as a GHB. OR we could get Julius, that would be great too.
This was a themed battle well done from start to finish. From the death of Sigurd to Seliph's revenge. Very well done to keep the spirit of the end chapters of 5 and 12.

You know what I’ve noticed? Sigurd and Deirdre’s weapons have the word Divine in their names.
You know what you should do when Arvis comes back for the Rotational GHB? Since Leif and Nanna are out in Heroes now, recreate this exact scene with all child units, meaning only at this point: Seliph, Julia, Leif, and Nanna. Just my two cents on this.
Iffy about Julia, she loves her father dearly but it's not like we have a choice with the Child Units.
I was forced to use her in this battle too.

Nice little possibly unintentional touch at the end. Sigurd and Deirdre are covered up by the stage clear, so you can only see Seliph and Julia.

Inaccurate. Arvis didn't proc Pavise/Great Flame several times to cancel your attacks.

Also I only played the prologue and the first 3 chapters a few months ago and haven't got back to it yet but I do enjoy the soundtrack when all that's left is taking the castle music.
This is amazing, I would be crying because of remembering fe 4’s sad plot,but I was watching this in class so I had to fight back the tears :^)
With Legendary Sigurd available now, I think you can recreate this theme battle with him replacing for OG Sigurd :)
