There's nothing growing - that's the camouflage netting, looks like leaves. People use it for bird hides and other things but it just does the job nicely losing the tank from view.

Ingeniously easy once you discover the secret.

Are there any rules about access? When they come to refill the tank do you just drag the netting off?

no rules that don't allow a completely breathable cover like this and even the drivers think it's great! We have it loosely draped over the tank with logs to hold it down so it can be easily removed for deliveries. They have to notify us when they arrive because of the dog so we are able to go out and take it off for them.

Is this not breaking the regulations.
You are not allowed anything closer than 1 metre & it is a fire hazard

Not a problem at all as it is only loosely draped over the top and easily removed for filling. The company has no problems at all with it - actually quite like it as the tanks are so ugly and intrusive. We flip it off for delivery then flip it back again and it magically disappears.

@@RottiDog21 the Tank is white and from what i saw and is metal, so having a dark net drapped over is only going to heat the metal up and cause expantion in the tank. the tank was white for a reason. if you want to hide it, use natural materials like bushes trees etc, or even hedges, as along as there 1.8 meters away from the tank. if you have a fire, and the net catches alight, boom!

@@stevenclark6910 it's actually a mucky greyish green and a complete eyesore. We've got bushes and trees around as we are in the country but they still don't stop it being visible from the house and in particular the upstairs windows where we have B&B guests and it detracts from the view. The tank is under a beech tree and in the shade all day and the sun never gets on it so it's not in any danger and the supplier doesn't have a problem with it either. If it was in the sun it would be in danger of getting too hot anyway so I don't see what difference it makes.
