- Long time customer Rene brought his 2020 Ram 2500 to us to complete his dream build. We installed a Carli 3.25” King 2.5” Pintop system with every option, along with 20” Trail Ready wheels and 37” Toyo MT tires. This truck is one seriously good looking rig!

This is how I’d want my truck to stand - wheels barely past their fenders. Just perfect - not too high up there (2.5-3.25”) - get into my garage and public garages, stock brakes, 37x20’s.

@@rkrl1088 all the chrome(grille, mirrors, door and tailgate handles,, window trim, and mirrors) were wrapped black and the longhorn emblems were painted by wrapcental.la... the cummins, 4x4, ram, 2500 emblems I bought factory night edition emblems. My buddy diego painted my tail lights, and evilheadlights took my stock headlights and painted the housings black with clear reflectors

These builds are unreal. All of these trucks make me absolutely hate my mega cab with a 6” lift, 37’s, and 20” wheels. So much regret going big lift on 37s with 20” wheels.
That all black longhorn looks mint! RAM should offer that from the factory! Night edition longhorn! Incredible work from you guys again!!

Great videos! I always hear about improved ride over drive ways, tracks, etc. I’m dying to see these set ups actually going over dips, speed bumps, etc from a side view point. Trying to see more before I make a move on my 2020 f250.

I got a question. I have a 2011 ram 2500 with carli commuter kit. carli ball joints, carli steering stabilizer fox shocks and a red head steering box. I run 35 12.5 18 ridge grapplers. My truck rides and handela ok. I did take it off road and destroyed my ball joints and some bearings and thats what started it but the trucks never been the same.We had to take it on a jeep trail trying to retrieve bikes. I don't abuse it. I just test drove a new 2021 ram 2500 and that truck rides a lot better. My truck doest track the greatest. multiple alignments, different air pressures, steering doesn't feel the tightest. Think its time for a new truck

The king 2.0 is lost in the mix, it's between the commuter, and the back country. It's not big enough for offroad

How does this suspension compare with other brands like BDS? What sets this apart from other competitors?
BDS makes a lift kit where the goal is X or Y height. Carli/Thuren make a suspension system where entire goal is ride quality and capability improvement. You'll see significantly higher build quality, joint quality, ride quality and wheel travel from a Carli/Thuren system than you will from BDS.

Do you guys have any install videos for the F250s? I have had a heck of a time trying to find one to put on my 2.5” Carli Kit. I’ve read the directions but it always helps to see someone do it for tips and tricks. Especially since the instructions are for each component and not all together as a kit due to various possible options
Unfortunately we don't have step by step install videos. We're working on it though!
Great looking truck and a great video, but why would you show off a suspension upgrade on flat ground? Would have been nice to see some travel and flex, to see what it really does.
Remember that these are customer trucks we're building, so we can't exactly go running them in the desert! We have that for our personal rigs.
Does the 3.25 (and Power Wagon version) eliminate trimming with bump stop drops?
If you mean, to fit 37s, no. Trimming is still required.
How much was the total cost.
Do people have to change gears to run 37s? I’ve got some that are 37x12.5 with a -25 offset wheel On a 4 1/2 inch lift do you think these will rub
There’s not a gearing change needed, but you will have extreme rub with that setup. To fit 37s on a Ram you need a 8.5-9” wide wheel with +18 to +25 offset .

Do these tires throw you around? I have nitto MTS and they shake. Looking at the ridge grappler but can't find any

What type of milage are you guys seeing out of the toyo mt’s. On the fence between the mt’s and rt’s
They're pretty similar to the RT in terms of tread wear, but are significantly louder.
Wow, great looking truck. Curious how the mega cab with this suspension set up rides on the freeway? I'm goign back and forth on getting a mega cab and the carli set up, or a half ton pick up with crew cab and a suspension kit.
A Carli equipped Ram 1500 will ride better than a Carli equipped Ram 2500, but both ride fantastic compared to stock!

Have a quick question: what size rim would you recommend for an 06 Dodge ram 2500 mega cab on a 6 inch lift? I really need to change out the wheels and the tires. Bought this truck used with 22 inch rims and 37 inch tires… Don’t need to tell you that it rides like a brick. Been looking at your website and I really need to change these things out. Anyway give me a shout when you have time. Thanks and once again great video
we’d recommend going with the smallest wheel and largest tire possible if your goal is ride quality! A 17/37 setup is hard to beat.

There’s a lot of options on the lift (but we show all pricing on our website). Expect about 1,000 to 1,500 for labor on a setup like this though!
Do 37’s do more damage on front end parts than 35’s? Debating in sizes.
37s are heavier than 35s so they will always cause more front end wear than 35s over time. It’s just the nature of the beast.

These are 5.5” backspace or about 6.8 offset since they’re 9.5” wide.
Looking into the carli kits for my ‘19 3500. I don’t need something this elaborate seeing how mine is primarily used as a work truck. Heavy hauling/towing and plowing. Any recommendations for this guy? Thanks 🤘🏻

How much trimming do you have to do with these tires? Also do they rub on the sway?
No rub on the sway bar with this setup, and just the basic trimming of the plastic fender liner and pinch weld!

I’m so disappointed with Carli Suspension Texas distributors! I actually have this truck and am ready to get the suspension package and the Texas distributors responded once and never answered again. What does this bring the ground clearance to?
That all depends on what tires you have mounted and where you measure from. This system itself increases height 3.25" up front and 1" in the rear.

These wheels are 20x9.5 with 5.5" backspace. That comes out to +6.8 offset.
Are you running rear wheel well liners? Clearance issue?

Yeah all the liners are on there, zero clearance issues, cjc has it down with the wheel widths and backspacing

Does the 3.25” lift require fender trimming?
Nope, just the plastic fender liner inside the wheel well with 37s. To fit 37s on a Ram truck we recommend a +18 to +27 offset wheel that is no wider than 9”

The 37's look way more suited than those stock 33's... the 33's kinda always looked ridiculous to me, like not proportionate to the body...
Were the emblems wrapped? Especially the longhorn emblem?
The "ram 2500, cummins, 4x4, and the ram" head on the tailgate are factory night edition emblems that I bought, and the longhorn emblems are painted by wrapcental
