I remember my first landing (knee board off to the side and me flailing around with it) and the instructor said "KEEP YOUR HAND ON THE THROTTLE"!!!

Good luck! Started my ppl in November only flying once a week tho:(. But will be doing my first solo next week after 16 hours! It gets more and more fun it soon becomes addicting! “Take care and keep it in the air!” Lol

So if the weather's so iffy, and you're living in the van anyway, why didn't you go to one of the southern states to do your training?
That’s a great question. Riggin also offers an ag pilot course and we have lots of people who are interested in it and ask us questions about it. Cally wanted to go to this program to get a sense of how things run and see if it was something we can endorse. Riggin was also quite a bit cheaper then the southern warm states and had lots of airplanes in case there were maintenance issues along the way.
Hi😀I have a question! approximately how long does it take to obtain a private pilot license from zero?
It depends on so many different factors but if you can set aside a block of time, have great weather, a good school that is willing to work on an accelerated track, and have the money for it, it can be done in 2 months.
