I saw Rolling Quartz at Reggies for their first U.S. tour this year. Great live band. They do "self bootlegs" of their live shows are can find some on their channel at the live tab. Fandom is Diadem. Yongeun the drummer is a huge fan of Dreamcatcher. Groups I listen to now are Dreamcatcher, Rolling Quartz and Lovebites, a five woman metal band from Japan who are all supremely talented. And their composition, arrangements and lyricism are compelling. I've never heard a band play at their level.
@DreamiesLonelyDreamer The first thing I saw of theirs was the mv for Judgement Day. It blew me away. Similar to the first thing I saw from Dreamcatcher - Scream - I immediately felt that I needed more and never looked back. It was so powerful and layered, even though it was not a genre that I had ever gone out of my way to listen to. Like DC they don't have any skips in their catalog and there are always surprises. Like their 21 year old bass player who just joined the band, and anyone who knows bass says she's a prodigy. Or the concert pianist who is one end of a pair of shredders who play fast, complex riffs, but very sophisticated musically. Oh, the other guitarist is a competitive body builder in her spare time...
If you wanna know more all female rock bands, there's a huge number of all female rock/metal bands from Japan... Anyway, Rolling Quartz is basically a legit rock band, more to pop rock.. they're also Insomnias. The bassist, Arem, even uploaded DC album unboxing
I am learning more about the rock and metal scene in Japan these days! I will look more into it in the coming months! I think I have heard that about them in the DC fandom! So cool! 😊

your mic was too low but nice reaction. i think they auditioned to get into a company first and then the band was formed instead of organically meeting each other and then getting signed together later like a lot of bands do. also their sound is more pop rock/hooky rather than completely hardcore/underground. i love this song though. you should check out their live performance of it during their latest livestreamed concert. it's uploaded on their youtube channel. they do free livestreamed youtube concerts pretty often with live translators

I actually did see something about that concert. But I wanted to know more of their music first before watching a concert. I definitely don't mind if they're more pop/rock. Rolling Quartz are a rock band. Not a K-pop group ala Dreamcatcher, Blackpink etc
